Meget bra hotell i forhold til pris, med grei beliggenhet i San Diego. Lett å finne og gode parkerinsforhold. Rent og ryddig. Fint basseng og jacuzzi. Hyggelig betjening. Kommer gjerne tilbake. Familie på 4 fra Trøndelag.

Hotel Service: 1) Housekeeping skipped our room on day one...there was three of us to a room how would we not require house keeping? 2) They had a Keurig coffee maker in the lobby for only two hours of the day, I called the front desk for verication and the attendant stated coffee was only available between the hours of 0630-0830. Although the Keurig […] coffee maker can also make hot chocolate and brew tea the hotel (Best Western Plus Marina Gateway in National City, CA) only offered coffee. Comfort of the room: The beds are hard as heck and we all woke up sore. As expensive as the rates are at Best Western Plus Marina Gateway in National City, CA they operate like a low budget establishment. It was the cleanest place we have ever stayed at. Great helpful staff. Anything you you could want was close by, food work out was very happy with everything...close to freeway and harbor drive. very nice....

Booked this hotel due to its amazing reviews and it did not disappoint. It is much better than your standard Western hotel - would definitely recommend. Only downside is no bar in hotel but that is not worth rating it any lower than 5 stars ! The highlight was lazing in the hot jacuzzi sipping wine at about 9pm at night - bliss! Nice room, cable flat screen tv, microwave, coffee maker, fridge, what else do u need? not from around SD so idk what is around the area, seemed pretty isolated, its near the fwy, in n out walking distance, nice little park closeby too. Would definitly stay there again

Spotless hotel and very quiet with double paned windows. Be prepared to drive everywhere. The restaurant next store was not very good Excellent freeway access. A pleasant surprise!

Very nice hotel! Big, clean, comfortable! The staff was very friendly. The room was perfect! Very clean and spacious. Wish i could've stayed longer. Wifi, though, was terrible. I was on the phone with IT and the front desk all night trying to get a signal. When i spoke with them again before check out all they said was we are working on upgrading on […] our system... we have problems with the wifi a lot. It really brought the hotel down not having access to what i needed to work on. Made for a very frustrating evening. This is a convenient location right off of the 5. Easy access to Balboa Park, The San Diego Zoo, the Gaslamp District and La Jolla.

this is a top notch hotel. the front desk staff are all courteous and very helpful. the rooms are large, clean, and well kept. it is 4 miles from the zoo, and only like 7 from gas lamp. pretty easy to find also. the only complaint i have is that the hotel is pretty noisy. we were close to a stair way and people would slam the doors all the time. also, […] the maids liked to vacuum adjoining rooms at 8:30-9:00 in the morning on saturday...and they would bang that poor vacuum into the walls the entire time. I stayed here for two nights, Wednesday and Thursday. Pros: close to 5 Fwy, clean and nice touches and finishes all around, lots of vending machines, restrooms by the pool and lobby, refrigerator and microwave (yes, available in room not just the lobby as the description states), cleanliness - not just the room, but public areas, outside the facility, […] ease of access to laundry room, fitness room and business center, love that the window in room opens, free wifi...too many to count. Con: don't even bother with the coffee in room, tastes awful, go to lobby instead for the free keurig coffee. Very loud train whistle right around 1:30 to 2 a.m. every morning. I didn't like the location of the hotel, there isn't much around, industrial part of of the marina. Buster's Beach House right next door was pleasantly surprising, highly recommend. The Staff was friendly and very welcoming! You walk into a beautiful lobby where you are greeted by a warm fireplace We stayed in a the suite with the king bed and it was huge tons of room. We have a 14 month old who loves to run around and she had lots of room to run and play! The room has a fridge and a microwave and the bathroom was also very big! Hotel was very clean and either recently built or extremely well maintained. The staff was very friendly and willing to offer help. Room was clean and included a microwave and refrigerator. The restaurant next door was fantastic.

The Best Western was very clean, modern, and had very friendly staff who were well groomed. The only drawback was the doors that made loud bangs while I was lightly sleeping.

Great room, very clean and quite larger than the usual standard room. Our son definitely had some good space to play around with his toys. Included a mini fridge as well, very convenient when you travel with kids. The staff was very friendly and provided us with ideas of places to visit or general directions. The hotel is located right off of HWY 5 […] and about 10-15 south of Sea World. Only downside as of this writing is that there's some road work going on Bay Marina Dr. so it was a little bit noisy for a couple hours one night, but not an issue at all. Very good hotel - very clean, great hot tub, pool, room. Would like to have tea (other than chai) available in the morning. Do NOT eat at the restaurant beside the hotel despite how much the staff recommend it. It's TERRIBLE

Seems like a relatively new hotel based on the condition. We had a room that was a good size with a nice size LCD tv. The swimming pool and outside spa was good and the kids enjoyed using it. The only down-side to the hotel is that it's in the middle of no-where. No convenient stores near by so definitely need to have a car to get anywhere. The location worked for us well, just off the highway and close to major attractions- Balboa, downtown, harbor, Zoo etc. Seemed like a newly built hotel, had a great stay for the price. No breakfast but the fridge and microwave in the room make up for that.

Hotel was nice inside and rooms have adequate space. Free parking and wireless internet. I requested to change rooms because I was worried that my relatives (that owns 7 cats) had brought in dander when visiting me and I'm allergic. They gladly accomodated me right away.

This hotel is a great find. It is a newer property and is very well maintained. The staff were all very friendly. Conveniently located right off the 5 freeway. The best part is that we were able to bring our doggie with us. We'll definitely be back.

The hotel was great and the service from the staff was pleasant. All of the things you would want from a quality room are there. An Iron, ironing board, fridge, microwave, gas station within a mile, restaurant across the parking lot with happy hour and a meal discount for hotel guest. The downside - getting there from other places during weekday commute […] times is painfully slow. My 23 minute ride to my destination multiplied into a 3 hour nightmare getting back when the rain hit during the traffic peak, Keep this in mind if you are going to Qualcomm. Other than that - the hotel is not near other local establishments. You can get to a Super Walmart, a CVS, or downtown within 15 minutes if you use Google maps. Les mer
