Noisy neighbors was an issue: thin walls contributed to this problem, but everything went quiet after 10:00 PM. Breakfast quality was inconsistent: two breakfasts were very good/excellent and 3 days were just average. Front desk staff were outstanding! Very helpful in suggesting where to have dinner. "Room was nice"
Enjoyed staying at the hotel. The service was nice, the parking was alittle tight. The biggest problem we had with the hotel was the smell of the room, a little funky but when it was cleaned then it was a great stay.

My family stayed during the BCS National Championship game and we had a great time!! We used this hotel on our way to Miami from Dallas as a one night stop. Room was good, breakfast was good. The only thing that went wrong was that the A/C was not on in the room when we arrived and it was really hot due to the 115 degree days this summer.

I can't praise this place enough.I checked in at 5pm and was offered complimentary wine and a bowl of fresh pasta and tortilla chips. Delicious. The building is only a couple of years old and very clean and tidy. Went to a graduation, and had others in our party stay at an establishment up nearby (which I had stayed at previously). The Country Inn and suites compared very favorably, at a lower room rate. The rooms were clean, and very quiet (there were some noisy kids staying up the hall, but I did not hear them). Beds were comfortable, and the ac worked like […] a charm. Well lit, comfortable seating areas, and all the appliances worked. Where the difference happened was service. The Country Inn had multiple attempts at cleaning the room (important if you want to sleep in but still have the room cleaned), a cheerful front desk (with cookies) and a pretty decent breakfast. We have in a lot of chain hotels. This was the best one yet.. I can honestly say that the staff was excellant. EVERYONE was so nice and friendly. It was like being home with old friends. I would highly recommend this hotel as long as it doesn't change. The breakfast was very fresh and good. I cannot express how pleased I was with this hotel.

Although rated 2.5 stars by Hotels.com., the hotel was in excellent "like new" condition. The room was quite large with two very comfortable Queen beds, flat screen TV and small refrigerator. The bathroom was also much larger than expected with ample counter space to place all of our toiletries. The breakfast was sufficient scrambled eggs, and an assortment […] of pastry items. The only negative was that the hotel was sandwiched between two other hotel properties - both new and in good shape - but it took a bit away from the appeal of the hotel which was really quite nice otherwise. At only 2.5 stars, Hotels.com has this property rated much too low. This was an excellent hotel, comparable to 3-stars and even some supposed 4-stars we've booked. It has an easy access location, very friendly people at the desk, a comfortable (firm!) bed with great pillows, nice bathroom ... I could go on.

When I first arrived, the front desk clerk was extremely friendly and glad that I chose that hotel. The hotel must have been remodeled recently because the room was very up to date, and completely immaculate. The cleaning staff did an excellent job each day. This hotel was amazing and a great value! I have nothing negative to say except the curtains are see thru, that was a bit weird. Wifi was easy to connect to, they even have 2 community computers to use, gym is clean, pool is clean, parking is great. Nice staff. Will definitely be staying again!

However, no matter how quiet and […] respectful you try to keep your children when in a hotel pool and being all in the same quarters for a week will result in some loud activiyty. Totally understand no running in the halls-no extreme noise and quiet after 10:00 but we were given warnings -verbally and in writing on the second day (all guests with children-not just us) that if a guest checked out due to the noise or rowdiness we would be charged the amount of their stay!!! How would they determine who/what behavior caused the guests to exit their stay we asked? Hotel stated they would make that determination themselves- Then ALL of the kids were banned from swimming in the hotel pool because some child had splashed a lady-we were told they were welcome to swim in the pool of their Sister hotel-Motel 8 at the back of the parking lot. This is NOT a FAMILY friendly or Customer Centric hotel-basically they are rude and inconsiderate. This event takes place around the same time every year in the same location-why not cater to the folks that are filling up your hotel and spending money in this rinky dink town rather than running them off to the holiday inn? Or better yet= since for most folks it is only an hour to hour and a half drive we have all agreed that the inconvienence of driving back and forth each day is WAY better than the rudeness and inconsideration of the staff at this place and certainly not worth the money Les mer

"Must Stay"
This hotel was VERY clean from the parking area to our room. The quality of service & the attitudes of the staff-EXCELLENT! The bathrooms in the rooms were perfect-BIG, SPACIOUS & plenty of BIG towels, bath/face soap, lotion & especially ENOUGH shampoo. Good location. We loved it! Definitely recommended.

My spousal unit and I agree that this is the best "mid-range" hotel we've ever stayed at, and after 41 years of marriage, we've stayed at a lot of them. I am handicapped and the hotel was very handicapped friendly. The staff; from the front desk to the maids were unfailingly cheerful, friendly and helpful. This hotel was extremely clean and comfortable. It seemed brand new with nice color schemes and furniture. The complimentary breakfast was remarkable. A favorite was the make-your-own Belgian waffles. Warm cookies awaited at the check-in desk. The hotel employees were very warm and welcoming.
