Located right next to the Shipyard brewery and easy access to the bike path and Old Port. The studio room was spacious and very clean and comfortable, it would be perfect for an extended stay. Staff was very friendly, and the free shuttle service was perfect for making our dinner reservations across town.

Good Location. This was only a couple of blocks to everything in Old Portland. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful when it came to breakfast suggestions, bike tours and everything else.

Good hotel in a good place. Lots of places to eat and drink within a short walk. Also a nice walk by the shore nearby.

Great hotel, however there is no site for onsite parking. You have to park at an adjacent parking garage with an extra fee. The breakfast and afternoon snacks were very nice. It is a bit of a walk to the center of town, but worth the stay.

Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Shower drain was slow. Parking locally was difficult.

We had a very nice room with a great kitchen. The hotel pool and whirlpool were really nice. This hotel is not in the middle of the main shopping/dining area. It would be an easy walk in the summer, but a bit too long and cold in early spring. I would definitely skip the water view - it is not at all scenic.

My Wife and I loved the size of the room and the cleanliness of it. Two issues though, one the heating system was so load, it kept me awake. The other issue was the bread spread / comforter was very, very thin.

We enjoyed our stay. The hotel was very well maintained. My 3 year old enjoyed the pool. Unfortunately we had an incident outside the hotel. We found a parking spot the first night right in front of the entrance to the hotel and when we returned to our car the next morning the whole driver's side of the car was keyed. We reported the incident to the […] hotel but unfortunately there was nothing they could do because it was a public street. I would recommend parking in the garage next door to the hotel. Les mer

The people at the front desk were very nice and helpful. The affiliation with the parking garage across the street was convenient. The complimentary breakfast was great. I wish that we had a room with a view and there was a big stain in the carpet by the bed. That said, the room was very comfortable and the kitchenette was well equipped. Hotel conveniently located to old port. We walked everywhere we need to visit. The public parking is a big bonus because of the limited parking in this area of Portland, ME.

for what they charge, room service would be nice. Maid kicked us out of our room to clean cause her shift was ending.... seriously???? Had to pay for parking also, huge thumbs down for that Breakfast buffet was awesome tho, props for that, otherwise, for that kind of money, I'd rather stay in the heart of Portland

We came on a very busy Valentine weekend. Our room overlooked the bay and we really enjoyed the modern updates throughout our room. The other thing that really made us fans as guests, was the curteousness of the staff towards our puppy. Everyone on staff was super sweet to us. Overall great place but bring your own pillow! I can usually sleep on anything but those pillows are so big your neck hurts. No movie channel either? whats up with that? stuck watching whatever was on.

Great place near the waterfront. pool was not working not working we were told because someone dropped shampoo in.

My wife and I enjoyed a quick overnight break during our recent Christmas visit to Maine, We loved our studio room and the general amenities of the inn. Even though there were many families staying due to the Christmas break, our room was still quiet. There was a snow storm overnight so the food delivery truck was late to show so the morning buffet […] was limited to those who showed close to the cut off. Although the location and the condition of the hotel is adequate, the overall quality of hotel service is very poor. The quality of service was so bad that the front desk officers were not trained enough to process check ins and check out properly, with lack of understanding of guests. Very helpful staff. Room was attractive and roomy. View of roof on next building over was disappointing and air exchange was noticeable but not annoying. Really liked the kitchen and cooked a few meals there. Breakfast menu changed slightly everyday and had nice variety. We were happy to learn that it was a suite even though we were only staying one night. Having the fridge and microwave actually came in handy! We had a great stay and would definitely stay at a Residence Inn again!

All around excellent hotel.....a great location, staff were friendly and pleasant, free shuttle back and forth to airport---we checked out, stored our bags at front desk, and came back at 6:30 that evening for the shuttle......the complimentary breakfast is a real breakfast, with something for everyone--including eggs, bacon, good coffee--what bonus […] this all was. The best part of our experience here was the room...not your typical hotel room. It was comfortable, interestingly laid out, totally clean, an excellent bed, and a terrific water view out to Peaks Island. We'll definitely come back to this hotel next time we get to Portland. This hotel was awesome. It had some bad reviews and I don't know what those people were talking about. The rooms were huge and extremely clean... They had Paul Mitchell products for you to use. It had free breakfast everyday and free dinner several nights and beverages available all day long. I was extremely impressed.
