De ansatte var vennlige, rommet stort og velutstyrt, men nabolaget var 'skummelt' - særlig for en som ikke hadde med bil og som i påvente av flyavgang måtte oppholde seg i og rundt hotellet nesten et døgn

The location is good, there is only one table for breakfast, the breakfast include orange juice, danish, toast and breakfast bar. The bed is comfortable, but the floor is dirty. Stay on 3rd floor is better. There was some plumbing problem for quite few rooms. We are being asked to switch to different room in the middle of the night. Overall, it is a […] good hotel. Very comfortable accomodations. Loved the extra spacious room and the king sized bed! Very neat and close to nice restaurants and central to most locations, freeway, amusements, yet quiet.

The room was clean and in satisfactory condition. However, I gave a rating of (1) regarding the comfort because the bed was not very comfortable and the towels were very thin and rough.

this hotel looked EXACTLY like it does in the picture and the interior was decorated beautifully. i did a quick inspection and there were no bed bugs and the hotel was completely clean. you could check in at literally ANYTIME (after 2 pm) and the check in process took less than a minute. the staff were really nice and didn't give me and my fiance any […] problems. the ONLY issue we had was with the maid who knocked on the door FOREVER at 9 am when we were still steep. besides that my babe was a little agitated that they only put 4 towels in the room, but i didnt think that was a problem because we only stayed one night... overall this was a great hotel experience for us. Satisfied with the hotel and our stay. Not the greatest, but good for the price. My complaint is actually with hotels.com. We submitted that we had three people and they recommended a room with one king bed. I would assume that there is a hidabed or rollaway provided. "Short Drive to Disneyland"
Stayed 3 nights had a comfortable stay. Short drive to Disneyland. Nearby guests were a little too noisy, thankfully the AC unit was loud enough to drown out the noise.
"Good deal for the price"
Plus: Clean, large room. Safe area. Sizzler, Denny's, and Wendy's within walking distance. Target and grocery store two blocks away. Nice frig and microwave in room. Minus: thin towels and meager continential bfast. Take the $ you save and go to Denny's. :)
Room carpet was very dirty. We had two grandkids staying with us and their bare feet were just about black. It looked like the carpet hadn't been shampooed for a very long time.

"Portola Inn & Suites In Buena Park CA."
The parking was too small to accomodate all the guests. The clerk was very polite and nice. The room was comfortable. The shower/bath tub did not have a safety bar to come in and out of the slippery tub. The TV had very few channels available. I could not watch my favorite shows. I would not reccommend this hotel

"i love this hotel"
I loved my stay at this hotel, we got the family room it is two rooms in one. it was perfect for all 7 of us. cant wait until the next tripped to Knotts berry farm we will be staying there again. everyone was very nice.

For the price we paid this hotel was great...it was very convenient... easy to find...and staff were very pleasant...will stay here again...wish breakfast was a ill more but the restaurants and the availability around was great..had clean towels and was cleaned daily...

the only thing I think should be improved is the quality of room service.. little things such as the trash bag simply being thrown over the waste basket without tying or the towels in the restroom being thrown on top without being folded properly. this was a fabulous stay for us since all the hotels around Disney were booked for the New Year and we didn't want to have to move rooms, so chose to stay a little farther out rather than move our group. We had 3 rooms for 5 days and extended several of the rooms a couple times with no problems. The prices were very affordable, about sixty per room […] per night, and the staff was very friendly. They were short on towels when we got there, but they fixed it right away. The pool is across the parking lot but it was always clean and available. Breakfast was snack bars and muffins and fruit so we didn't really use the breakfast service very much. It ended up being about a 5 minute drive on the freeway to Disney. Great location, lots of restaurants to choose from and a couple blocks from churches. Several super clean laundromats nearby about 1/2 - mile away. Les mer

"Not close to Knottsberry farm"
We stayed here 1 night because we got a cheaper rate than disneyland area. We thought we could walk to knottsberry farm it is a least 1 mile to get there. We got into town at 12:00pm and asked if we could check in and and she told me the room wasn't ready when there was only 2 cars on the lot. So we came back at 2:00pm to check in. The beds were hard […] and the pillows were as thin as anything. Didn't get alot of sleep that night. We decided next time just stay close to disneyland. Wasn't excited about the area either. Pay extra money and stay at the Radison next to Knottsberry farm if you are going there. Les mer
"Pleasantly surprised"
I am very concerned with hotel cleanliness and booked this hotel based on recent reviews. I was not disappointed! While this is an older property, it is very well maintained and the rooms were exceptionally clean! I do, however, wish I had brought my own pillows from home only because theirs were rather flat and I didn't sleep well the first night. […] I did request additional pillows for the second night and was accommodated immediately. The continental breakfast is just that, very continental. Basically it's white bread, granola bars, fresh fruit, OJ, and coffee, but it's better than nothing. Hotel is very near Target and the Sizzler across the street is very nice! Les mer
"For the price..."
..it's a steal. Great friendly staff and clean rooms. Don't expect a top of the line hotel, but dor the price it can't be beat.
The rooms are very spacious and bright. The surrounding area was sketchy but it wasn't too bad. Hotel clerk was nice. Didn't go swimming but I did see the pool- it's the size of a large jacuzzi so don't expect too much. Overall, I enjoyed my stay very much.
"Overall good except breakfast"
I booked 2 rooms for 5 people and asked if they can be next to each other. The staff gave us two rooms with consecutive room numbers but one room turns into a hallway from the walking path. I asked if we could have the room right next which is vacant but he refused. The breakfast area is in the reception, only one 3-seat sofa, a coffee table and a table […] for 6. They only provide bread for toast, pre-packed pastry, granola bar, coffee, orange juice and some tiny fruits, not even hot water for tea. I had stayed at other same price motels which have a stand-alone breakfast room with milk, boxed cereal, self-service waffle, muffins and bagels, etc. This motel is good for resting during a trip. BTW, the bathroom exhaust fan is like a broken engine when on, internet is slow, traffic noise starts in early morning. Les mer

The hotel was above average. Bottom line... yes it was a little cricketty when people walked by the room, yes it did have some minor flaws in the rooms (nothing major), but for what I paid for this rooom it was very clean, staff was very kind, and it worked for what I needed. I have been there several times and I like this Hotel because the room is spacious and clean. The furniture looked new and include refrigerator, microwave, hair dryer, iron, ironing board and coffe maker. The price ver reasonable ! Definitively I will stay there again.

This motel is a definite 2 star and complimentary brkfast is a definite-"minimum".
Good location for seeing sights on Beach Blvd- we went to Medieval Times (a 5 min drive). Initially were given room right above office on busy street- too noisy, so requested quieter room in back, and was given one. Front desk very helpful. Breakfast minimal: just coffee, OJ and individually wrapped danishes and clementine oranges. No milk, cereal, […] etc. Inexpensive. Les mer
"Great Stay!"
Took the family on a mini getaway to Knotts Berry Farm. Needed a hotel that wasn't too expensive. I was a bit skeptical because usually when you try to save money you hear the old phrase, "You get what you pay for". I booked two rooms for my own family as well as my in-laws. We were all pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Nice size clean rooms. Nice […] location, not too far from Knotts or places to grab a quick bite. "It was Good but not Great"
The staff was very friendly and the rooms were pretty clean. The only major issue I had was that at about 6 in the morning on a Sunday people were getting up and walking up and down the hallways making so much noise! And it wasn't just Hotel guests but staff as well because I could hear them rolling the cleaning carts and talking very loud. "Cheap but Clean hotel"
Hotel was clean but outdated. Their lobby closes after 9pm. Breakfast was just a continental breakfast with just one table in the lobby to eat on. Only one nite stay type of hotel.

I had to stay in Buena Park for Business and since I had stayed at the Portola Inn & Suites before I very much looked forward to staying there again. I felt comfortable, safe and it really was convenient for where my business was located. Thanks again for another great stay!

This place is pretty average. Nothing to special, but also nothing wrong with it. I've stayed here many times and would recommend it to anyone needing a place to sleep. Our second stay - and we feel good about the value we received. The hotel is simple, but nice for the money. The staff is freindly and check-in was easy. The room was basic, but everything was clean and worked. Not high-tech on the heat and A/C, but again they worked. The breakfast bar is the weakest part of the deal. I would suggest they brew better […] coffee; and although limited in space, they could have bagels, muffins, etc. instead of packaged pastry and bread. But we didn't stay for the breakfast anyway. "Very close to Knotts"
I stayed there just last week to visit Knotts and had a good stay at this hotel. The mall and many restaurants are with in half a mile distance. Hotels.com made it very easy, I just walked in handed my ID and got my room key. Very happy with hotels.com use this site again.

If you want to be close to Knotts this is a okay hotel to stay at if your not spending much time in it. It is VERY motelish....and beat up and old. It was fine for what we needed it for, which was a place to sleep.

The main thing I would tell you guys is that the tv screen was horrible and you couldn't watch tv on it since it was so blurry, and that the free breakfast wasn't anything but coffee and granola bars. but the staff was nice, the location was good, room was clean.
