Hotellet var ikke verdens beste, men vi spesifiserte at vi ønsket ett av de nye rommene. Det rommet vi fikk var utrolig fint. Kjempe stor dusj, helt nytt og fint. Veldig greit å gå rett ned på stranden for ett morgen bad! Fin strand, men ikke blått vann! :) Eneste problemet er bare at det var umulig for oss å få taxi til Roma. I needed a hotel close to the airport for one night. It was little further than it was stated on the web site; however, if you contact the hotel in advance they would arrange for a shuttle service for pick up and dropp off at a reasonable price. The room was excellent, clean, large size by any standards and the price was even better. The hotel under […] refurbishement during my one stay which explains why I had a very good low price. We stayed here twice in two weeks. The rooms are modern and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. 20 minutes to the airport, but shuttle is efficient and available.

easy to find from FCO right across from the beach on the Med, great staff great food great treatment, can't believe that this is real. Fregene is a great little town with all that any town has to offer, again great people and unbelievable service, oh by the way I don't speak Italian and we were looked after with 5 star attention. Near the airport. Hotel staff speaks very good english and is helpful in arranging transports and other information. Restaurant is excellent - reasonably priced - great atmosphere with fire place. Breakfast bar included - nice assortment of breads and fruit. Rooms very clean and comfortable - wonderful shower. Close to airport, reasonable distance to Rome for full day tour. Staff friendly, courteous. Stayed just one night, rooms are large by comparison to other area hotels. May need to bring some ready food items/snacks, etc. if arriving early or late for check-in. US residents should remember mealtimes are much later than here and plan accordingly. Manager […] was very helpful in arranging for shuttle at 5:00 A.M. We had to be at FCO for an early flight day after major snowstrom caused numerous cancellations on the eastern seacoast for returning passengers. We stayed here in Oct so the beach crowd was already gone. The only problem we encoutered is that our room was warm and you cannot control the heat or ac. Also, we couldn't open the windows. Fortunately, it cooled down by the time we came back from dinner. Still, we definitely would stay here again.

Spent 10 days in Tuscany, stayed at La Con before coming home. Located on the beach. Very nice rooms, staff, buffet breakfast. Very convenient to the airport, but far enough away to avoid the jet engine noise. Would recommend to all...

We were pleasantly surprised by the hotel's decor including lobby, dining areas and the room. The room is very conveniently arranged and spacious! Lighting is excellent. We stayed at this hotel thinking it was near the airport which technically if you draw a line it is however by drive it is at least 25 minutes. Would have been beter going into Rome and staying the night. The hotel is located across from the beach so convenient if you want that however there is not a lot else around. We were disappointed with the hotel as we paid and booked a refurbished room as per the picture on the Internet but the room we got was old, smelt of smoke and the cupboard doors were broken. The staff were very helpful and apologetic but could not move us to another room as the hotel was fully booked. Unless you want to go to the beach the hotel is […] not conveniently located to shops. If you are looking for a quiet hotel close to Rome's airport, you have found it !! Staff are fantastic, rooms are very nice and the area can't be beat, close to the beach. We only stayed one night before heading to the airport but I would have loved to stay a week !! No complaints !!

The Hotel la Conchiglia In Fregene, Italy - our room recently renovated and in good condition. It was very modern decor (which isn't our taste). Our stay here was good, the people very helpful, and food good. We were under the understanding that it was close to the airport, but took a 10 euro shuttle ride in very cramped conditions. It is a great location if you want to be close to beach access however.

I only stayed at hotel because I thought it had easy access to airport. Because I was completely unfamiliar with trains I took taxi from Airport to Hotel and the 20 min ride was 45 euro. Totally ripped off. Hotel did have shuttle back to airport for 10 Euro. Train to hotel would have been much less expensive. Hotel was old and the lobby and restaurant […] needs a major renovation. The rooms are large by European standards. The staff really do try their best to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Best Italian food I had on the trip-fresh seafood because you're on the beach.They do provide a low cost shuttle to pick you up and return to the airport or train terminal. The hotel staff was very nice. The hotel is located a little further than I thought from the airport, but transportation was available for a price. it is in a resort town, but reasonable for a night stay before taking a flight. There were three women in the room, and the bathroom was nice sized for European standards.

My husband and I stayed there last night before departure. When we arrived (tired), the concierge, Laura (?) was on a phone for the first 20 minutes and hardly acknowledged us, but then she couldn't be any nicer! The overall staff was great! We ate at a really nice restaurant Lo Spuntino, were no one spoke English, but the owners were super nice, gave us Limonciello and Grappe to taste (I would say there were 2 shots in each!) and did not even charge us for it. Hotel had no elevator and we were put on the second floor. It was quite a chore bringing up all our luggage.

This hotel is very modern and comfortable. The staff was beyond great, and really helped us have a great stay. It is right across from the beach and in a very quiet neahborhood with shop a resturants about a quarter mile away. Rooms were large and clean with a great shower.

We stayed here before our 6 am flight the next morning. The staff were very friendly, the substitute shuttle driver was just a local person with her personal car. They were all great. They helped us figure out which train to take and which station to arrive at to get to the hotel from Rome. We arrived in Fregrene, and they picked us up from this much […] closer location for 5 euros per person. Its 10 euros per person for a ride to the airport. They made espresso for us at 4:45 am before our "shuttle" ride to the airport. The hotel lounge was in great shape, the room and bathroom are really nice and large (compared to our hotel rooms in Rome), the shower was amazing, only complaint is that they can keep up the place a little better. Everything looked nice and modern but some of the grout was dirty, and there were dust and spiders in the corners. This hotel surprised us. Within an in-progress exterior was an elegant modern and beautiful set of rooms. the area around the hotel is very nice. a small beach town in fregene. about a 30 min trip total to rome but nice community. the hotel was good for the price. except we were woken up every morning at 7am (on our honeymoon) by construction. when we complained they removed our room charges which compensated but still was frustrating to get no sleep most […] of the 4 nights. the beds were not very comfy either. but served its purpose and hed a nice location. Very nice stay! We had 18 people stay at this hotel following a Med Cruise Oct 2010. Off season, the area was nice and quiet, just what we needed getting off a two week Cruise. Our […] rooms were not ready when we arrived, but then again, we arrived at 10:30 AM. As the rooms became available, they let us know, so we could move our bags into the rooms and out of the Lobby. They let us use their desk computer to check in online for our flights and print out boarding passes. I offered money, and the guy refused, but when I insisted, he accepted gracefully. It is located across the street from the Beach, and three blocks from the bank, restaurants and shops. A bicycle or scooter would have been very helpful to save my knees. The rooms are a nice modern euro design. The mattress was very firm, but not too hard. Our smoke detector still had a paint cover over it, and there were electric wires hanging out the outer wall. Rooms on the second floor share an open balcony and if your rooms are grouped together as ours were, you can have a nice party outside. The Restaurant was very nice. They publish a daily menu based on the catch of the day and most of the entrees ran around 16 Euros. When asked if they could substitute Shrimp instead of baby Squid, they said yes, but my dish came out with Squid. They were happy to remake it and they didn't just remove the Squid and plop in Shrimp like many American establishments would. They have a decent wine selection and the service was attentive and unwavering. My only complaint other than the Squid, was that the table Cloths were a bit dirty. Breakfast was served in the same room and was very nice. Fresh coffee, cappuccino, cereals, danish, croissant, and spreads. Very tasty refreshing way to start our trip home. Very European decor-simple, but attractive. Comfortable bed and surroundings. Nice complimentary continental breakfast, free internet, great dinner for 16 members of our group in the dining room.

Although very nice, the hotel is definitely dated (somewhat the same since Felinni stayed there) - there are some good things and some not so good thing. However, overall it is a good hotel. The beach is really nothing to brag about - water didn't really look inviting.

This wonderful hotel is located right across the street from the Sea and only 15 minutes from the airport. The hotel was clean. The rooms were large and comfortable. The staff was helpful and the dining was excellent. This hotel was a terrific value.

Unser erstes Zimmer war eine Katastrophe: uralt, kleines stickiges Bad, durchgelegen Matratze. Es war deutlich zu sehen, dass seit 1970 an dem Zimmer nichts mehr rennoviert wurde. Daraufhin haben wir uns beschwert und haben ein anderes Zimmer bekommen: hell, freundlich, total modern, riesiges wunderschönes Bad. Man hatte das Gefühl, in einem anderen […] Hotel zu sein. Also unbedingt nach einem neuem Zimmer fragen!! Es lohnt sich. Man erkennt die alte und neuen Zimmer bereits von außen (alte schwarze Holztür vs. neue weiße Tür). Serice war freundlich, Strand war schön und sauber und direkt gegenüber vom Hotel. Wer den vom Hotel angebotenen Transfer nutzt, sollte sich auf Wartezeiten einstellen. Mrs. Magaritha ist zwar sehr freundlich, von Abfahrtszeiten und Terminen hält sie jedoch recht wenig. Les mer
