Carillon Beach Resort Inn - Panama bystrand

Her er det supert dersom man vil ha en badeferie og vil nyte strand og bading samt restauranter og uteliv. Perfekt for barnefamilier og venneturer. Store suiter med fult utstyrte kjøkken, stue, balkong, bra bad og stor seng. Rent og pent. Masse butikker og restauranter på området og stranda rett ved. Den beste stranda jeg har vært på!!! Vi var der i […] lav sesong som betyr at mye av butikkene ect var stengt men vi hadde steden neste for oss selv. Dette må være super i høysessong. Mye for pengene. Det rare var at lobbyen bare er åpen fra 8 til 8 noe som betyr at dersom man kommer etter kl 8 på kvelden er det litt pes og dersom man ønsker å sjekke ut før kl 8 om morran må det avtales. Vi også gjøre oppmerksom på at hotellet heter The Inn at Carrilion Beach.. greit å vite da det kan være litt fovirrende å finne frem. Les mer

WORS VACATION I HAD

A very strange place! We arrived for our prepaid room at 11:10 P.M. and the place was brilliantly lit up but the lobby/office was closed up tight. There was no outside phone or bell or any indication of what to do. We thought we would have to look for somewhere else to stay and there was nothing nearby! Finally we phoned, at great roaming charges on […] our Swedish cellphone. They told us where a "package:" was waiting for us with keys etc. They close at 8:00P.M. every night! But our stay was for 4 days and we noticed that they did not clean up the room or supply fresh towels. When we enquired they said they were an "Inn", not a hotel and did not provide such services. But if we brought our dirty hotels to the desk they would replace them! We would never stay there again, even though the room was nice, large like a suite, with two rooms and two TVs. Les mer

Comfortable bed, nice kitchen, granite countertops. Oceanview is not right on the beach.

We went to the Carillon in January and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The facilities were quite nice, although much of the resort was closed for the off season. The room was very clean, and the king size bed was comfortable. The queen hide-a-bed was ok for kids to sleep on but probably not comfortable enough for adults. my wife,daughter,and I stayed at carillion over the 2011 christmas holiday and loved the place.the beaches are beautiful and the suroundinding neighborhood was treat.I will plan on staying at Carillion every stay in PCB.

Room was clean and the bed very comfortable. But the major issue was we didn't have internet in my room and the front desk's only solution was to use the lobbies wifi. This really ruined my stay because my phone (verizon) did not have service so no way to search for nearby restaurants or bars so have internet in the room was a must.

This is the nicest Panama City area property in terms of architecture but the inn is NOT on the beach. We stayed on a 4th floor ocean view king suite but our view was obstructed with beach homes so not exactly an "ocean" view although still nice and with a great sunset from your balcony. The management is pet friendly and the photos online are true […] to the property. Just call ahead to verify what amenities are available during your stay. We were surprised to learn upon arrival that none of the on-site restaurants and shops were open during low season. Only one pool and one hot tub were heated and even the bikes and kayaks listed online as "complimentary" were not available. Also beware that king suites are comfortable but not for more than 2 people since the square footage is pretty tight. The floor plan also has the bedroom closest to the common corridor and road so you get plenty of street noise in the bedroom during rush hours. They also have security lights right next to the bedroom window which is really a major design flaw since you simply cannot get the room dark enough at night for comfortable sleep. More than once we each woke up at 2am thinking it was 9am because there's just that much light coming into the room so this is NOT the property for light sleepers!! Les mer

Stayed at Carillon for one night recently. There are not many hotels in the Scenic 30-A area, and this was five minutes away. Well-priced for the season. Having a living room and kitchenette, plus two flat-screen TVs, were bonuses. Bed was very comfortable, shower was fine. An easy five-minugte walk to the broad beach. A very nice resort and place to stay. All the amenities you need, plus two TVs for those times you want to relax. Close to Publix so you can pick up a beverage or snack. The unit has a full size fridge. The sunset from the balcony is fantastic.

the Inn is situated between Panama City and the beach communities on 30A. It was very easy to get to both from here. Two problems with the stay: our room was next to the main office and they played music from 8am to 10pm every day that was a bit annoying, especially in the morning when we wanted to sleep in; the other problem was that we got no housekeeping […] for the length of the stay. This resort was nice and so were the people operating the facility. However, it was frustrating that when the TV CONTINUALLY went out in our children's room area that there was noone to actually "fix" the problem. They sent a wonderful lady up from housekeeping (thanks Linda) who did what the cable guy suggested, but it was frustrating after it didn't […] work to fix the problem. Basically, each unit is independently owned, and the owner would have had to come and actually replace the tv, and bla bla bla. Also, we didn't know ahead of time that EVERYTHING on the resort location is closed on the off season. The pools and playground area were nice, again the staff was accomodating, but you couldn't enjoy the shops and amenities because they were all closed. We were there a full week and the shops opened on like Friday night and Saturday. We left Saturday morning. It is located at the very end of the beach strip about 10 miles from Pier Park and 30 miles from Destin. So, we basically had the beach area and the playground for the week. That was disappointing. So again, it was clean, nice and worth the discounted price. But, next time unless we are there in the heart of the summer, we will probably stay somewhere that's closer to "stuff." If you're retired and want extreme quiet with nothing really there, it's enjoyable. If you're a family and have other plans to be more actively involved in things in the beach area, stay somewhere else. Thanks! Les mer

Very peaceful location. A very nice room with a kitchen for making morning tea and watching the sunrise and birds swimming in the pond.

The hotel was in a beautiful area. The service was great and our accommodations were great as well. We had pets and there wasn't a problem with that, but the beach did not allow dogs.

Great hotel in a very pretty setting. Beautiful view. Staff was very nice and helpful. Short walk to the beach. Only complaint is that pools were not yet being heated and were too cold to swim comfortably in. One factor in choosing this place was that it said it had a heated pool. Would stay there again!! Cell phone service was not great. No reception […] in the room. Had to walk onto the balcony to get cell service. Les mer

This resort is absolutely beautiful! Lake view was outside of our room and the beach was less than a five minute walk. My husband and I enjoyed waking up and walking our dogs around the private neighborhood which was absolutely stunning! Hospitality was exceptional! The 7 private beaches were absolutely beautiful! Sadly our dogs could not go on the […] beaches, but they enjoyed the cool condo. The views from 4 pools were so classy. Our favorite was right next to the ocean front. Hotel was reasonably priced for the amenities provided. The best quality hotel I saw in Panama City. Les mer

What you see on this web site about Carillon beach inn is what you really get. Thats what it really look like. The service is very good. I enjoyed my stay.

Beautiful and relaxing setting. Absolutely loved it and would definitely return. This was my second stay at the Carillon and my family and I plan to return again in a couple of months to enjoy the wonderful amenities!

WE STAYED IN A 1BEDROOM AT THE INN WHICH WAS VERY NICE GREAT VIEW OF THE LAKE AND SHORT WALK TO THE BEACH. THE HOUSES IN THE NEIGHBORHOODWERE VERY NICE WE ENJOYED WALKING AND ADMIRING THE HOUSES.

This was a beautiful property. We were able to enjoy thge beach and the beach pool. Receptionists Brittany and Linda were extremely helpful during our stay. Would definitely go back!

My husband and I had a wonderful time at the Carillon. I hope to stay again- we enjoyed bicycling, swimming, walking and the live music on Friday and Saturday night. Very clean and everyone was friendly and helpful. Great place to stay.

Great vacation get-a-way! Beautiful community, very private, peaceful and relaxing! Took our one hour free bike ride offered by the Inn, after tire was pumped up, was told we had to rent after that (even though bikes never moved the rest of the week). This place was wonderful. I was so worried and looked for weeks. I have 2 kids and one is a baby. I didn't want to take a chance staying somewhere directly on the beach in case there was too much partying; however, Carillon was a short 5-10 min walk and the private beach was great. The pool that is directly before the beach is heated and has a shower […] to wash off the sand before going to the room this was such a plus. The staff was friendly and the room was good. We stayed in the deluxe oceanfront view room at The Inn. As others have stated, the "ocean" view is backdropped by the property's lake, but in our opinion, this only added to the gorgeous view. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the location is close enough to both the beach and site-seeing.

I RECENTLY TOOK THE FAMILY TO PANAMA CITY FOR OUR BACK TO SCHOOL VACATION. WE HAVE 3 KIDS 13, 7,5. THEY HAD A BLAST! CARILLON BEACH IS LOCATED AT THE WEST END OF THE BEACH. IT IS AWAY FROM ALL THE CRAZINESS OF THE STRIP. I KINDA LIKED THAT. A LAID BACK ATMOSPHERE. YOU DONT HAVE TO LEAVE IF YOU DONT WANT TOO! BUT ALSO ONLY A FEW MILES FROM EVERYTHING. […] THE BEACH IS CLOSE AND THEY EVEN SHUTTLE YOU ON A GOLF CART IF YOU WANT. ALL THE POOLS ARE GREAT AND LOCATED THROUGH OUT THE FACILITY. THIS IS A GREAT PLACE TO STAY AND WOULD RECOMMEND TO EVERY ONE. Les mer

We really loved this place. Plenty of room of the four of us, 2 adults and 2 children. Upon arrival our air conditioning was not working. It was late in the evenining so the repair had to wait until morning. The next morning the repair man arrived and just lowered the temperature and said it was fixed. We returned from the beach and it was still not […] working correctly. The repairman returned later that day and my husband had to tell him how to fix it. It finally cooled off and we were comfortable. That same day we relaxed by the pool in the afternoon. What a great pool and hot tub area. That evening we went to Pier Park and ate an exceptional meal at Tuscany. We highly recommend this restaurant if you like Italian food. We came back to our room and got comfy into our pj's and went to sleep. Around 2:00 in the morning we heard some people congregating on the patio below us but were able to doze off for some time. We woke up about 3:30 and this group was playing rap music and talking very loud. I had to go out on the balconey and ask them to quiet down. They wondered why I could not ask them in a nicer way. At this time of the morning I may not be as pleasant as I would have been at another time. Thank goodness they were asked to leave. This is a lovely resort and we had a few unfortunate circumstances. Everyone that works for this resort is friendly and helpful except for a few of the housekeeping people. They have a lovely wine bar and have specials in the evening. We would return in a heartbeat. Our misfortunes were not the resorts fault, just happenstance. We met the owner and other people who had interest in the resort and everyone could not do enough for us. Please be aware they do not take out your trash, do not make the beds and you have to ask for clean towels. Les mer
