Svært fornøyd med oppholdet på hotellet , meget serviceminded personell , god frokost , mulig litt støy i spisesalen , men helt grei mat. Svært hyggelige og imøtekommende personell , både i skranken , og butikken eller han som satte vekk bagasjen. Lett å få tidlig innsjekking og sen utsjekking . Alt i alt , meget bra. Savnet minibar på rommet eller i alle fall et kjøleskap , men ellers var det ismaskin i gangen. Selv i New York var det mulig å få et stille rom.

Familie med to tenåringsdøtre. Fantastisk beliggenhet, flott service og komfortable rom. Suite Prestige med to dobble senger. Vi anbefaler dette hotellet sterkt om noen vil bo sentralt og vi er ikke i tvil om hvor vi skal bo neste gang. Det koster noen penger, men i forhold til beliggenhet og det du har igjen så er det ok.

Rene rom og god service - men veldig små rom. Måtte ha den ene kofferten på badet for å få plass. Men renholdet er viktigere enn størrelsen. Veldig bra beliggenhet og gåavstand til mange av hovedgatene på Manhatten.

Perfekt beliggenhet i forhold til å utforske Manhattan. Helt greie rom med fin størrelse, rent og pent, god og behjelpelig service. Kun èn gate skiller hotellet fra å ligge i SOHO med shopping og restauranter, og få minutter unna Chinatown og Little Italy. Subway rett utenfor døren som er superlett å ta for å dra up-town. Vil absolutt anbefale å bo i dette området og heller oppsøke steder som Time Square/Ground Zero etc fremfor å bo i "asfaltjungelen" hele tiden.

Min svigerinne og jeg besøkt nylig New York og valgte da Distrikt Hotel som overnattingssted. Det er ikke første gang vi besøker NY, men første gang vi bodde på Distrikt Hotel. Vi ønsket oss et hotell i nærhet av Port A/TS området, for enkelthetsskyld da vi skulle benytte oss av flybuss t/r Newark, buss til Woodbury Common outlet, samt at vi ønsket […] å bo sentralt ved Times S. Det var lett å finne frem til hotellet, liten resepsjon, men svært hyggelig betjening. Doorman som hjalp oss opp med bagasje. Vi hadde bestilt deluxe room med 2 store senger. Rommet var større enn vi hadde regnet med, nytt og fint bad, masse håndklær,TV, fri internett, minibar og safe på rommet. Aircondition/varme som var lett å regulere. Mulighet for å bestille frokost til rommet. Vi er kjempe fornøyd, og vil absolutt benytte oss av dette hotellet igjen. Eneste som trekker litt ned er noen litt "ukoselige" butikker i samme gate som hotellet, men disse kan man unngå ved å gå på andre siden av gaten, så problemet er ikke stort. Les mer
"Distrikt hotel, bra hotel, stora rum, superservice"
Vi var supernöjda med hotellet. Tyckte det var lite dyrt då jag bokade men har förstått att man inte får mycket för pengarna i NY. Men standarden var jättebra, kändes fräscht i hela hotellet, mkt trevligt personal, fritt internet, i-phone dockningsstation på rummet, kaffemaskin mm. Framförallt bra storlek på rummet, bokade ifs 1 rum med 2 dubbelsängar […] för 2 pers, men det var det värt, när vi inte var ett par som åkte tillsammans. Kan verkligen rekommendera detta hotell. Ligger bra till i förhållande till Broadway och TS samt precis vid Port Authority där flygbussarna ank/avg. Enda lilla minuset var att utanför på samma gata låg en del sexshoppar som inte kändes så kul. Men det låg flera hotell granne så man kände sig å andra sidan aldrig otrygg, för det var alltid folk i farten där. Les mer

We stayed at Distrikt Hotel for 6 nights, and we will recomment this hotel to all our friends in Norway. Good service, perfect location, good prices and standard!
Flott moderne hotell med bra beliggenhet til det meste. Blide sercicemindede personell som alltid var hjelpsomme.skal vi tilbake ville vi valgt dette hotellet. Rent ryddig med kaffemaskin, safe rene håndkler og bra vasking hver dag:) kan absolutt anbefales:)

Hotellet ligger rett ved Times Square og bussterminalen som gjør at det er veldig lett å komme seg til og fra Newark (for de som flyr dit). Svært hyggelige folk i resepsjonen, flotte, nye rom og rent og pent. iPod-spiller på rommet, diger dusj og iste i resepsjonen på ettermiddagen. Veldig gode senger. Vi bor garantert her ved neste besøk.

"Fint rom i nærheten av Times square"
Typisk hotell som ikke har mer å by på enn rommet, men dersom man ikke trenger mer er hotellet veldig bra. Rommene var moderne og pene, og servicen i resepsjonen var god. Beliggenheten er nær times square, central park og fifth avenue. Vi hadde et standard rom i sjuende etasje mot bakgården. Stille og rolig, men kanskje litt lytt ut på gangen.

Jeg og kjæresten min bodde på Distrikt Hotel i 4 netter fra nyttårsaften av, og vi er utrolig fornøyd med vårt opphold! Folkene som jobbet der var superkoslige fra første stund, alltid i godt humør og veldig behjelpelige. Virkelig bra rom, stilrent og lekkert, og god størrelse! Dette er bedre enn alt annet jeg har prøvd i New York tidligere. Litt dyrere […] selvsagt, men ifht pris er dette hotellet likevel ufattelig bra! Ifht til location så ligger det to kvartaler fra Times Square. Vi trives bedre downtown, (smak og behag selvfølgelig), men pga hotellets standard, og pga det gode metrosystemet (flere metrostasjoner rett ved hotellet), var dette likevel supert! Anbefales sterkt! "Not as glamourous as expected"
I think the website overplays the luxury status of this property. It is nice, clean and comfortable. But the amenities are minimal, the lobby is so small it is uncomfortable. It feels like they shoehorned a hotel into a bowling lane. I was expecting a very quiet room with the airport grade windows but even on the 20th floor it was very noisy from sirens […] etc. I'd look a little harder for luxury next trip to NYC. Les mer

Room was very quiet, bed was very comfortable. Room size was on par with, or slightly larger, than many NYC hotels. The shower was really great too. I come to the city for business, and this time, was going between Chelsea, Columbus Circle, Central Park East and Midtown, so hotel was very close to everything. The area gets very busy though, being right […] across from Port Authority and so close to Times Square -- it was sometimes a challenge to find a cab! Nice modern hotel, although they checked us into someone else's room. Am Coffee service was empty every day in lobby and the maid found it entertaining to throw your stuff away. But other wise, clean, modern & nice desk people.

I was a bit dubious about the location (across from the Port Authority, just down from the parole office and a row of porn stores btw 8th and 9th), but the area is really picking up, and seemed totally fine now. It seems like they've totally gutted the place and redone it with high quality, modern stuff- including comfortable beds and nice showers, […] and they were very eager to please service-wise. The in-room wi-fi was also free and reasonably responsive. All around, it was a great experience, and I'd stay here again if I was looking for a place in mid-town for convenience to Penn Station, etc. Les mer

I will say out of a handful of top NYC hotels I've stayed at in the past, The Distrikt Hotel NYC is by far the best hotel, I've stayed at. I would highly recommend this hotel as the staff was amazing and always charming and ready to help. The room was spacious and very clean, and very comfortable. The […] hotel is in an okay location, easy to find, but most importantly, if you're seeking top quality customer care, an amazing room that is comfortable, clean and modern, book at The Distrikt, it was a fluke that I stubbled upon this hotel, and am so glad I did, it's value is very good for all you get. "Lovely stay at Distrikt - great location!"
We stayed at Distrikt in March for 4 nights and had a great time. The room was spacious (considering the size of most boutique hotels) clean, and the bed was very comfortable. We were on the 31st floor and had a glimpse of the Empire state building and river. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We found the location excellent, close to Times […] Squares, other major tourist attractions, subway stops, and the Port Authority (which made it easy to transfer to the airports). We did not find the area "sketchy" at all. We would highly recommend this hotel to friends and would definitely stay here again! Les mer

I LOVED this hotel!! I rode the bus to NYC and it was right across the street from the bus terminal and subway station, within walking distance of Times Square, great location! Inside was so pretty! I enjoyed the coffee and iced tea in the lobby and the decorations were so pretty! The staff were incredibly nice and helpful and they were able to store […] our bags before check-in and after check-out. The room was lovely, complete with a personalized welcome letter and brownie and then later a turn-down service with chocolates! Very nice hotel. Clean, very friendly staff, free new york times every day, coffee machine in your room, good location close to Times Square, the block where the hotel is located ( between 8th Av. and 9th Av.) is ugly but it doesn't bother me, it's safe. It's also close to the bus stop to the airport.

"Distrikt Hotel NYC"
We found the hotel through a Hotels.com listing. We chose it based on reasonable price and proximity to the Port Authority Terminal because we traveled by bus. The Distrikt turned out to be an excellent choice. It is less than 1 block's walk from the Terminal. The immediate area has several restaurants and convenient taxi access. It is about 4 blocks' […] walk to Times Square and the tour bus routes. All hotel staff were excellent: friendly, helpful, knowledgable, and competent. The room was small but not at all confining. The bed was very comfortable, even for large people like us. Housekeeping did an excellent job. Furnishings looked new. The tile bathroom and shower were beautiful. The flat screen TV with lots of cable channels was an unexpected treat. When we stay in this area of NYC again, we'll use the Distrikt Hotel; our stay was so satisfactory that looking for another hotel surely would be a waste of time. Les mer

I am from NY city and stayed there last week and really loved it. The location is a little annoying, as it is near port authority but overall it is a great place. Clean and really well designed. I would definitely recommend this place, especially over the gross hotels higher up in the theater district.

Great hotel, great location. Walking distance to the majority of the tourist hot spots, and very near a number of subway stations. The hotel is lovely and front desk staff very friendly and helpful. Free internet throughout and computers in the lobby too. Room was a very good size, very comfortable and immaculate. Great bathroom, comfy bed, big telly […] and plenty of storage. The nightly "tomorrows weather" card was a really sweet touch. My only slight issue was the noice of the wind howling through the air-con unit, and the "turn down" service; during the day the beds are made up ready to climb straight into, then in the evening the duvet is folded right down so that you have to pull it up again before you go to sleep! These really are very small issues though, the hotel was great and i'd happily stay there again. Les mer

"Clean and Affordable, but not luxury"
The hotel is very new, clean and the pricing is very affordable. The location is close to times square and theaters. The street its on is not the best, but its not dangerous or scary if ur walking as 2 or more. The hotel is literally next to 2 other hotels and their cafes. We reserved a Grandview King room and it was just ok. Definitely not luxury. […] Nothing special. Nice counter in bathroom. But no decaf coffee or tea in room, just regular, even upon request. Hotel lovely! good location walked everywhere! close to bus for jersey gardens:-) The staff dont realise how much easier they made our trip booking taxis, helping with restaurants, locations and were always so friendly. Ill definitely go back again amazing city, great hotel!!

This is a great hotel in a fantastic location in the heart of New York but without the noise and discomfort that comes with being right in the middle of the tourist areas. The hotel room was perfect for our needs as a comfortable but reasonably priced space. We were located on the fifth floor and had no disturbance from the noise outside. The rooms […] are pretty basic but only in the sense that they are not flashy like some of the hotels in New York. The staff were all very attentive and helpful guiding us to a cute diner on 9th avenue and two blocks away for breakfast. We booked in advance which meant we got a great deal on the rooms. Overall I'd recommend this hotel for people who are simply looking for a comfortable and central base in New York which isn't too expensive. Central location, close to Macey's, Time Square, Empire etc. (all 5-7 min walking time). The stuff was great and always very kind. Our room was very silent (for NYC) and big enough for a city trip. This hotel is a good choice!

I was extremely pleased... I had gotten the hotel through a deal on hotels.com and so glad I chose it. The neighborhood is a joy to walk around, and the hotel itself, while quaint & smaller than neighboring hotels, was immaculately clean & organized. I was fortunate enough to have stayed the night of their 2nd anniversary, so there was a completely […] free party going on for their guests, including hip food from stylish street vendors, and a free drinks in the lounge. I actually wasn't feeling well so I declined the party but took some lemonade to my room. I'd mentioned not feeling too well to one of the staff members, so ten minutes after I got back to my room, a knock at my door revealed a bellhop with a huge carafe of water, some chamomile tea, and a lovely note from a girl at reception. Amazing! Even if I had to pay double what I paid, I will go back each time I aim to stay near Times Square. Les mer
"EXTREMELY SATISFIED"
Great Staff friendly staff. Perfectly located. Parking was right next door. The rooms were extremely comfortable and clean. Highly recommend for a quick stay in NYC. I would recommend and stay here again. The price was perfect!!!
