Vårt opphold på Hotel Sala Talay var helt klart med å gjøre Thailandturen vår så fantastisk som vi opplevde den. Vi bestilte i utg.pkt. bare tre netter, men forlenget oppholde via hotellresepsjonen etter et par netter. Hotellet ligger vakkert til langs den veldige nopparat thara beach, bare 10 min gange fra Ao Nang beach og "sentrum". Stille, fredelige […] omgivelser og hotellområde gjør dagene ved den flotte bassengkanten til en perfekte måte å nyte en avslappende ferie på. Personalet er imøtekommende, hjelpsomme og svært hyggelig. En god frokost serveres med nydelig utsikt over stranden og havet. Pool access-rommene er et stort pluss, da en om morgenen kan hoppe rett fra balkongen og ned i bassenget for litt morgenbading. Rommene er store, rene og har alt det en behøver. We were thrilled with the hotel and service. The rooms were amazing (each had a drying rack) and the breakfast was fantastic. The hotel is located a short distance from downtown Krabi, so expect to walk. Tuk-tuks and long tail boats are quite near. The beach is right across the street- better to use for shell collecting/ walking then swimming.

Overall a very nice resort. Staff and management are fantastic, very freindly and helpful. Great for families as all areas of the resort are pram accessible. Needs some paint here and there to sprouse the place up a bit and could do with an egg bar at breakfast.

We recently came back from our honeymoon at SALA Talay and have nothing but great things to say about our stay. The staff was top notch! The amenities were great...beautiful pool, wide selection at breakfast, room fully equipped with everything one might need! My only gripe was that the floors in the room seemed a little grimy as if they didn't get […] mopped often. It didn't matter as we were provided room slippers anyways! I stayed 5 nights at Sala Talay last week, and I must say it is a thumbs-up! Their staff are nice and friendly, rooms are spacious and with very nice views. :) Location wise, it is opposite a beautiful beach that is not full of deck chairs, but with fine powdery sand. You can enjoy the relaxing seaview when having your meals at their restaurant. Long […] tail boats to Railay beach and other surrounding islands are readily available. Just wonderfull if you prefer peaceful luxury. Quiet surroundings but just walking distance from the action - perfect. Sharp design Excellent service - also for the kids.

An excellent hotel which is ideally located. Very friendly staff. Very convenient to have a pool at the doorstep of your room. Overall an excellent experience. Will go again soon

Not the nicest beach but a good beach is just a boat ride away. Close to Ao Nang town (5 minute walk) so location is good. Lots of mosquitoes though. Room is comfortable. Wi fi in room.

Stay from 12th July to 15th July 2011 with family. I never doubted the genuinity of any review about any hotel that I read on this site, and with the same token I expect somewhat strongly, that my this... review will also be seen in the right perspective and will be of great help to fellow travellers who plan to visit Krabi. I stayed at Sala Talay Resort for seven nights and only have positive comments. I stayed in a pool access room which was wonderful as lounging on the balcony you had direct access to the pool. The room was maintained on a daily basis and was always clean. The bed was very comfortable and I always slept well. I was escorted to my room and shown all of the features of the resort and room. Being directly opposite the beach Sala Talay Resort is well positioned. As it is just outside of Ao Nang it only took five minutes to walk into the main part of town. The resort is close to restaurants and other amenities, in saying this I did choose to eat at the Sala Talay restaurant several times and the food was always exceptional and first quality. We had a pool room that was spacious enough for 3 (2+1) although there was not much closet space for 3 lots of clothing. Staff were very helpful, friendly and although not fluent in English they could understand and were able to help. Location for us was ideal at NoppaTharat beach a 20Bt pp tuktuk ride away from the main Ao Nang shopping and beach - […] you could walk in 15-20 mins alternatively. Breakfast was the only meal we took in Hotel and there was plenty of choice. generally the Hotel prices were similar to the decent Ao Nang restaurant prices within 20%. we enjoy staying at Sala Talay cos it is out of the buzz but still convenient enough to go to the Aanong for food and shopping. As it is a low season period, there isn't much to do but both me and my partner enjoy our time together. Will try again next time when it is slightly more busy hoping there will be more activity to do. Good point are quiet, nice design, good service, good breakfast (healthy). Bad point are 15 mins walking distance to eating places, taxi booking very expensive, aircon leaking water, bed too solid, SPA was not up to standard yet expensive, especially DONT try their Mani and Pedicure service. I love the location of the hotel. It's not too near to the crowd and within walking distance to the centre of Ao Nang beach central. The hotel was clean and so are the rooms. I love the room with the direct access to the pool. The only downside is that there is a smell in the bathroom in the morning, probably coming from the drainage. Probably the rooms […] on the higher floors won't have this smell. The pool is very nice, unlike some of the neighbouring hotels. Every room facing the pool has a balcony with 2 deck chairs to laze on. There is free use of the computer and plenty of place to sit and laze around with a book at the lobby area. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. The beach is just across the road. Great place to stay and relax! Personally, I think it is the best resort hotel along Ao Nang Beach. Restaurant Recommendation - must try Lae Lay Grill. Great food and great view. They will come and pick you up from the hotel and send you back foc! Les mer

Price and quality did not match at our expectations at quite high room rates. The hotel was full of tour package travellers / families with small kids - nice swimming pool area for kids. We don't recommend this hotel to couples or others who wish to have relaxing and peacefull stay at Krabi. The beds were not confortable and the service was max 3 […] star quality. Vi bodde endast en natt men vi är super nöjda. Deras spa var fånigt dyrt men tur är att det finns många andra spa anläggningar i närheten! Väldigt snygga rum!

Klasse. ! Alt var klasse perfekt hvis man vil lidt væk fra hovedgaden. Værelser er virkelig flotte rene. Personale mega venlige. Pool fås ikke bedre. Mad ok. Udsigt til havet. TopKlasse !

Nous avons passe 3 jours super agréable dans cet hôtel de bord de mer, dans une chambre avec accès direct à la piscine. Le concept est très sympa et plaît évidemment beaucoup aux enfants. L hôtel à un petit côté design très réussi. Le Spa est super ! Je recommande également les cours de cuisine. Eine sehr schöne und gepflegte Anlage in Zentrumsnähe und doch in etwas ruhigerer Lage. Zu Fuß ist man in ca. 10 Min im Zentrum und mitten im Geschehen von Ao Nang. Am Weg befinden sich jede Menge Garküchen bei denen man sehr günstig und gut essen kann :) Der Pool ist rund um das Gebäude angelegt. Ein besonderes Highlight sind die Zimmer mit direktem […] Poolzugang, bei denen man von der Terrasse direkt in den Pool springen kann! 修泊当日（５日間）満室にもかかわらずとても静かにリゾートできるホテルで大変に満足できました。プールは大ききく端から泳ぐと200m位はあります。レストランはとても快適な眺めのオープンエアーな設計でまったりできます。アオナンの繁華街から徒歩１０分程（この距離が騒がしくなく程良い、抜群な距離です）で便利です。クラビで超有名なワンサンシーフードはホテルから徒歩一分です。（タイガープウウンがとても美味しいですとても大きいので１人２匹で充分）。なによりこのホテル皆がとても親切です。ホント、オススメしますよ（日本語は全く通じませんが）。クラビ空港からタクシー３０分（600Bth）。プーケット（パトン界隈から）２時間３０分（3000Bth）

各樣都很好, 唯早餐款式太少

서비스 최고 친절도 최고 손님들 없을때도 직원들 할일 착착하고 식당전경도 좋고 전반적으로 아주 맘에 들었네요. 편의점만 옆에 있으면 최고인데 아오낭까지 어차피 걸어서 5-10분거리니 편의점보단 아늑한 위치가 아오낭보다 더 맘에 드는 거 같네요.

We stayed at Tala Salay during two nights in mid-May. Upon arrival the staff greeted us with cooling drinks and wet towels - which we thought was a very welcoming gesture. Throughout the entire stay every single member of the staff was thoroughly dedicated and provided excellent service. We were upgraded to a pool access room which we were at first […] cautious about - as everyone on the pool bank could see directly into our room this proved to be less of an issue as the hotel had only guests staying is such rooms. However during the high season with the pool area packed this could be a privacy issue for some people. The rooms themselves are well equipped, the style is minimalistic (we found the style to be scandinavian) and may not suit everyone. The pool area is excellent, long and deep enough to swim in it, and the guys at the pool bar serve excellent drinks during the daytime. The breakfast is served on second floor, in an open space above the lobby, and was of high quality and vast selection of items. However there is one issue we did encounter at the hotel restaurant when we had dinner. The portions of food the present are miniscule - even a frenchman would stare in disbelief at the plate. We ordered ravioli and gorganzola steak (it is an Italian themed restaurant). The steak was no more than two small mouthful pieces (50gr max) and the ravioli dish contained five small pieces of ravioli -the size of a small appertizer rather than a main course. The food was however cooked to perfection and delicious. Our second night, needless to say, we choose to walk to Ao Nang beach (10m walk) and had our dinner elsewhere.. Overall we highly recommend this hotel for the overall ambiance and service. Les mer

Vi rekomenderar detta hotell! Väldigt bra läge direkt vid stranden i Ao Nang, bara c.a 50 meter från longtail båtarnas utgångspunkt. Promenadavstånd in till centrum i Ao Nang. C.a 5-10 minuter. Väldigt fint poolområde och fina hotellrum.

Dejligt hotel, gode værelser, god beliggenhed og dejligt poolområde. Eneste negative ting ved hotellet er, at betjeningen var ringe, uprofessionel og med for dårlige engelskkundskaber hos receptionspersonalet.
