Short distance to botatical garden, about 20 min walk to main shopping areas and city centre (taxi was about 4-5£). helpfull service

It was great.. Could open windows very much which wasnt good at all! Prper air flow would be better than air con.

Very poor quality bedding with a hard mattress. Noisy plumbing disrupted my sleep.

This hotel is in a nice area of Belfast with lots of groovy cafes nearby and an easy walking distance from the centre of the city. A large comfortable bed and spacious family room. Could have vaccumed under the bed though - a bit dusty and the toilet flushed with a splash.

Staff very friendly and helpful

There was only one minus parking is 200 meters away

Service was poor. Had to wait at reception for someone to appear. There were people shouting and arguing all night and there was nothing done about it. I will not be returning to this hotel

Excellent value- decent location- clean comfortable - no hassle.

Food was awful. Seemed like they pulled out of the freezer and warmed up. Not worth the expensive cost. We only stayed one night and I am glad. The atmosphere was okay and we were central to some shopping areas. I thought there was free wifi, but no.

I liked the location near the University.There are a lot of restaurants and stores in the area.The hotel was basic but clean and modern .The price was reasonable.I'd stay here again.

This was an excellent property and well managed. The staff were extremely helpful and the location was within 2 minutes of a bus stop and only a 15 minute walk to the center of town. The bar and restaurant are open 24 hours and despite a modest menu, the buffet breakfast w\as very good and the cost of meals very moderate. Quests must pay for the internet, […] but it was fast and reliable. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting Belfast and will stay there again in the future. Les mer

stayed here 2 nights at end of august. great location..close to Botanic Gardens and Ulster Museum. 10-15 min walk to city centre. Only problem with hotel was that i asked for a highchair for our 6month old during breakfast but the staff said they usually have 1 but could not find it. So was a bit disappointed. Also on 1 morning the lift was out of service […] so had to carry pram and baby down stairs. I'm sure this is not a regular occurrence. Les mer

Good overall for what you pay. Only one negative: Three days there and nobody cleaned the room...

The hotel itself is excellent and the service was above that expected with a very helpful staff

Quite small room, rather hot despite noisy aircon with very complicated, partially non-working control panel. WiFi connection is not free; a definite turn-off for me. Buffet breakfast ok. All in all: Nice hotel for an overnight stay, but the non-free WiFi makes me not recommend this hotel.

Stayed at this hotel for 1 night, this is my second time to stay at this hotel in recent months and again it was a good place to stay - clean rooms, quiet hotel located in to the University district with free on street parking which is a bonus in Belfast. Hotel is a 15minute walk from the City Centre.

As a regular visitor to Belfast city, I have stayed in a number of hotels here, both budget and more high-end. Having stayed in the Ibis in Dublin before, this was my first visit to the Ibis at Queens, and although it hadn't been my first choice(my first choice had been booked out) I had a wonderful stay. Upon checking in I noticed the hotel was new, […] fresh, clean and well maintained. The receptionist whom i think was also the general manager, Claire, was very welcoming and we were quickly checked in. The rooms were clean, comfortable and bright, everything you could possibly need. The bathroom was a little strange, slightly like a porta-loo, however you quickly got used to it. There was a good selection of TV channels and the air-con was an added bonus. Myself and my partner stayed in the Ibis for three nights and had a very relaxing stay. We both felt the staff were extremely helpful and courteous, most notibly Claire who recommended places for us to eat, pubs to check out, and sights to see - top marks to Claire for her wealth of knowledge about the area and her kind, caring, demeanour! She is definately suited to the hospitality business. The 24hour bar was very handy and although the Ibis doesnt offer room service, we tried the 'bar platter' on two nights which was very tasty, especially after a few drinks! The one gripe which I had was that the parking provided is on-street which I had been slightly worried about, however we got a spot right outside the front door and had no problems with this. I would usually choose to stay at the Ramada Encore as it is nearer to the bars, clubs, etc that I tend to go to, however I would definately be open to staying at the Ibis again next time I come to Belfast Les mer

Stayed at this hotel for one night, I made a mistake on the reservation and booked a night later than we were due to arrive. However, the manager Alla was extremely helpful, pleasant and was able accommodate us in a room by swapping the reservation dates, we were extremely grateful. This is a relatively new hotel with free on street parking very close […] to Queens University. I would definately recommend this hotel. Les mer

No parking (only on street) even though the web page when booking said free parking. Was offered by Ibis (and accepted) off street parking in Holiday Inn nearby. Room and service was excellent. In Hot Breakfast self service the food was cold.. Staff very helpful.

I spent two night in this hotel due to a conference at Queens University. the hotel was confortable enough and clean. there was not iron provided in the room but I ringed the reception and they had one available for me (I had to pick it up at reception my self but it was ok). same for camomile tea or decaf coffee (not provided but available at reception […] if you ask). staff was very nice and friendly and I would definitly recommend it at least for a short stay. his closeness to the University (literally 5 minutes walk) and the price were the main reasons Ive chosen this hotel over other ones and I have no issues to raise or complaints:) Les mer

This Hotel is well located, the personnal is nice and the breakfast is not included but for several pounds, you have a complete buffet which is very good (different types of bread, of fruit juice, of coffee, of cereals, of fruits, eggs, sausages...) everybody can be satisfied! The hotel was as expected- functional,clean and good value. The area is quite nice and is as explained relatively close to the city. Had a couple of interactions with the staff- they were competent and obliging. Overall- the hotel will not blow you away, but I cant see a problem staying there for a budget traveler. Very Satisfied.

I stayed here with my girlfriend. The hotel is very clean and in a good location. it is also great value for money. i would highly recommend it.

Excellent location, close to Queens University and lots of bars and restaurants. Not a huge amount of character, but spotlessly clean and very friendly, helpful staff. Excellent value for money, would definitely stay again.

Primarily I was motivated by the cost and location when I choose this hotel. However, the old saying 'you get what you pay for' is entirely apt in this case and by this I mean no sleep. The first night there was a lot of noise coming from another room. As it was the weekend I didn't complain till 1.00am. Reception were very nice but they were not able […] to stop the music. We ended up having to change rooms at 3.30am. (reception did not suggest this, we did, which makes me think that had we not made this suggestion they would have left us in that room) In addition we also had to take singles as they were out of doubles. Fine, you can be unlucky but the next night we were awoken at 5.30am to the people next door having a major fight. Awful. This kind of stuff you can expect to have to deal with in a hostel but not in a hotel that costs you 4 times the price. Nothing against the staff they were lovely but the cost of this hotel does not correspond to the experience. Do not stay here! Les mer

We have previously stayed in this hotel as he is convenient to the aera we wish to visit. But this time we found that the food was very poor, not let alone this but we had to go down to reception to collect our own food that was ordered via room service. The bed was extremely uncomfortable with only one spare pillow. There was no shower jel in the bathroom […] and the water in the shower was freezing despite reunning it for a certain length of time. I would have previously recommended this hotel to other persons but will not be doing so in the future nor staying in it. Les mer

Great value for money and great location.

I would strongly recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Belfast, the staff were very courteous, helpful in directions to shopping areas, restaurants etc.

Nice Ibis Hotel, exactly as expected - basic but perfect for my needs. The location was great, Stranmillis and Malone Rd close by, and not too far from the city centre. Good price for Belfast, close to city centre.

it is what u would expect of an ibis hotel. Good value for money, clean, nice location. Staff were very helpfull. I would stay here again.

15-20 minute walk from City Centre with other restaurants within 10-15 minute walk. Friendly staff and free street parking all close by. Air conditioning in room only downside as ineffective - didn't cool room down at all even on coolest setting (16 degrees). Would use again, no problem. Good value for money.

Very friendly, helpful staff. Rooms were very nice and clean.

The young people who work at this hotel did everything they could to solve every problem which arose. The rooms were clean and sufficient for our needs.The location is good to get about wherever one might wish to go. The hotel is nicely located near the Botannic Gardens, nice area. The room was clean but small, it looked alot bigger in the photos. The heat was unbearable in the room. We would not recommend eating in the restaurant, food was disgraceful, it looked more like it came out of a packet. Also when it says that there is complimentary parking, it means you […] park outside the hotel but have to drive around until a space becomes available. I would not be staying there again, it is very basic. Also the toilets near the dining room didnt smell very nice which doesnt give a good impression of what to expect from the restaurant. Les mer

My husband and I stayed in Ibis in Belfast for two days. we were satisfied with the hotel. The room was clean. The shower room was big enough and clean. The staff was nice and friendly. Only one thing I didn't like was we couldn't open the window widely and the view was not good from our room. But it was not really important. The location is not […] in the centre, but not really far from the centre. We walked to the centre. If you just want to put your head down on the pillow and a nice shower after travelling, Ibis should be one of nice hotels for you to choose. I would rather stay there than some 4* hotels. Les mer

Utmärkt, billigt hotell mitt i unversitetsområdet. Modernt, snyggt och rent, Vänlig personal.

This is an excellent hotel for a very reasonable price!

Bel hotel avec de belles prestations, bien situé, c'est dommage que l'entretien des chambres laisse a desirer: poils et cheveux dans la salle de bain et sur la table et surtout le plateau de necessaire pour le thé et le café plein de poussière. Il est regrettable aussi de subir le comportement du jeune homme suspicieux lorsque nous nous sommes plaints […] de la propreté. On nous a donné une autre chambre et devant lui j'ai passé mon doigt sur le plateau; il m'a parlé de veritable inspection ;l'air goguenard !!!!!!! Les mer
