It's a very basic motel. Questionable neiborhood at night, but a short walk from the beach. Front desk guy weird and rude.

To be honest it is a very basic hotel with minimal facilities and small rooms as well as a dated appearance. However for the location and price it was suitable.

Price quoted one thing on hotels.com, charged another by owner. Didn't have things in order and was using the wrong paperwork. Rooms were creepy. Just didn't feel at ease or safe.

It's an OK motel to stay overnight, mainly for taking shower and sleeping, nothing else.

Motel was very tidy and clean. Couple (owners) were very accommodating. Would recommend if looking for value, great location for price, no real amentities but very tidy.

Not a bad place to stay. We had to book one night because we came in a night early for the hotel we made reservation. It was a cozy room not up to date but felt Ike it was clean, great price for the location, close to everything. We would stay the again.

Overnight stay. Off-street rooms. Very clean and quiet. Nice bed, excellent bathroom. No coffee maker or shampoo, but for the price, still excellent.

The owners of the hotel were rude. Everyday at 10am they would call and insist I leave the room so they could clean. I would not recommend this hotel.

The room was not comfortable at all. The door to the bathroom did not close well and kept getting caught in the doormat. The bathroom was far too small and you could not hang your towels or clothes nor could you put much toiletries. We usually stay in much more upscale hotels but needed to be in this location and took a chance on this very economical venue. Location is great, with a lovely coffee shop just down the road and lots of other services nearby. Definitely an old fashioned motor court, but a good value. Everything was cheap about this hotel, except the room rate. Our room had ZERO amenities -- no refrigerator, no microwave, no alarm clock, no hair dryer, no shampoo, no internet, no morning breakfast or coffee, etc. The TV (old and small) was bolted to the ceiling, hospital style. Towels were cheap and flimsy. Walls were thin and the plumbing was noisy. […] There was half a roll of toilet paper in the room, no more. There was a table and two chairs in the room; seat on one of the chairs had a really nasty stain on it. The only positive about this place is its location. Location was good, just a couple of blocks from the beach. Accommodations were very basic, which was all we wanted. It would have been nice to have an extra blanket or more than 2 small pillows. To start with, the room smelled of cigarettes. I don't smoke and it's suppose to be non-smoking. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. There was no free wireless internet. If there was suppose to be a password for some website to get it, they did not give it to me. There was no clock or clock radio. Not even a phone book. No shampoo either. And the people […] in the front office didn't ask if I wanted anything. In fact the lobby door was locked when I got there in the middle of the afternoon. There were stains on the chairs including what looked like blood. This was nasty. At 7 am in the morning there were gardeners with leaf blowers in the next lot over. Not this place's fault but it didn't help. This place is very bare bones and the staff was not welcoming. There are better places to stay for the money in the area. Go there instead. Les mer

No towel racks! No extra towels! Not even a box of tissues! No blanket on the bed. Poor quality pillow ( only 2 on a king bed)! Room was very clean!!

I would reccomend this hotel to anyone who is only staying for a night. i stayed for three days, and grew to dislike it. there is no garbage pick up within the rooms. that is so discusting to me. but ovelall it was OKAY.

This motel is in a great location, 3 blocks from Redondo Beach and the recreation it offers. The room and bathroom were small, but the bed was a comfortable king, and the shower huge. A coin laundry was right next door, which we found convenient. We tried to open the front window, but it appeared to be screwed closed; the small bathroom window could […] be opened. The heater [our stay was in mid-March] was bit balky, but was not a big problem. We didn't request a refrigerator or microwave, so I don't know whether they incur additional cost. Their continental breakfast was unavailable in February (I thought it was advertised as part of the price) and they said that they would have that in May/June. It seems new ownership under a family and so they are eager to please, but have some things to improve upon. The price is what you get -- and that was fine with us who were out and about all […] day. Very nice location and very friendly staff. Rooms are also being gradually renovated. It's a great value for the money and is very close to all beach cities.

Staff was friendly and the outside was nicely maintained. No shampoo or conditioner, no hair dryer, no coffee or breakfast. Would not recommend for the price.

As a lot of reviewers saw, "you get what you pay for", which is fine by me. I could not afford much, but got a good nights rest. The small staff (1 or 2, depending on the time) was friendly. I would consider staying here again if I had to.

Staff was pretty rude. Sink was partially clogged. Toilet needed maintenance. No extra toilet paper- roll ran out after office closed. Very bare-bones amenities. No coffee in morning in office. Poor shower pressure.

This is a no-frills hotel three blocks from the best beach in Los Angeles. The staff went out of their way to help me get my computer online. The room was very clean and the owner, Patel is a straight up guy. He gave me a discount on my impromptu, extended stay. Restaurants in the neighborhood are excellent. The nightlife is a little south in the Hollywood […] Riviera. This hotel uses Verizon Fios internet and though I did not measure it, the download speed is blazing fast. I played an online game and there was absolutely no lag. There are other hotels down the street in Torrance that are in the same price range, but I would steer away from them for a number of reasons. Patel's place is CLEAN and SAFE! I would not stay anywhere else, now that I know about this place. The price is nice! Surf's up Kupo! Les mer

This is a good deal if you just want a place to sleep and shower. You would not want to hang out in your room for long periods. It is very economical and I slept well. I would recommend staying here if that is your purpose.

Went to a friends Wedding reception @ The Brixton on the Redondo Beach Pier & need a cheap hotel to sleep for the night. Upon checkin, The Clerks'(There was an entire family in a Huge living quarters parallel to the rooms so they couldkeep watch on the Guests) first words to me were, " Oh, .. I dont think all your things will fit in our room.) ???? […] I pulled up in a tiny 4 door Ford sadan!? we had 2 suit cases that were 1/3 size roll ons??!! - Then I was warned to not smoke in the room. I said I chose a NON-Smoking room because I cant stand smokey rooms. They had noticed my girlfriend smoking with her arm outside of my car & said then you need to tell her to please keep it clean. I then said, She Never smokes in rooms or Homes.. THATS why, again, I asked for NON- Smoking. She had gone up to unpack & i started to gather items from my car & 1 of the guys shuffeled up, mumbling & grumbling & started sweeping on the other side of my car?? I had no idea what or why.. I assume it was ash from the cigarette? he took almost a minute or more to do this & was grumbling and Stomping the pan down several times.? Im 44 years old. Ive travled around the world several times. had good & bad experiences. I have Never seen such rude psycho behavior. They tried to make you feel like you were under the watch of the evil school master in grade school. When i asked for a taxi they questioned me 3 xs if id be ready in 5 mins. Was in the area for job. Needed place to sleep, nothing fancy. Room was adequate. Cost of room was reasonable, about 2 blocks from the beach and nice area to stroll. Did feel a little like I was staying at a friends' cabin...mix between camping and getting my own supplies-- and having a roof over my head, a bathroom and bed. Owners are cutting corners […] in odd areas that are dealbreakers for comfort. No clock in the room (but there is one on the microwave) so no backup for your cellphone alarm. I find this to be an issue. No blanket on the bed! I don't use the bedspread as a blanket (dirty thing to do) therefore just had a sheet, so slept in my sweatshirt to stay warm. Cheapest one ply TP I have ever seen...useless : P...so had to buy my own, as well as kleenex. Rather uncaring check out...no asking how stay was, etc that is the norm. Grab my key and shut the door! Not good for repeat stay, especially since there are other hotels at similar cost in the area. Upside: Location, location, location. Place is pretty clean, quiet-ish, carpet newer, bed not bad, felt safe for the most part, small refrig and microwave in room (handy). Lots of eateries nearby. Eat at Joe's good and funky place. Easy drive into westside LA without having to stay in the area up there, thus avoiding the cost and issues of the city. All in all I wouldn't discourage a stay here, but I don't think I will be back...unless I have my sleeping bag. Les mer

Good, family run hotel. Not the newest facility but they where busy improving it while I was there. Room and bed was clean and well worth the price charged. Customer service was good and very sincere. Very close to the beach too.

The motel was in the midst of a complete external makeover and there was no advance notification of the situation. The result will benefit future guests but for the present it is loud, congested and full of construction staff and equipment.

This very conveniently located, and inexpensive hotel was in the final stages of renovation. The rooms were clean, freshly painted with new bathrooms. Minor inconveniences like no towel racks will be be attended to I am sure. The property is family owned and they were very accommodating.

Our room smelled like urine, with a flowery deodorant spray failing to cover the stench. Room had no maid service at 12:00 noon, when we arrived. Room housekeeping was completed at 3:00 pm. The walls had dirt marks and childlike writings visible. No ice service, no towel racks. We were very dissatisfied.

Unser Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel war absolut angenehm, das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Unser Zimmer war sauber und überraschend geräumig, insbesondere die Dusche. Wi-Fi und ein Fernseher war vorhanden, der Föhn fehlte. Allerdings nehme ich an, dass wir auf Nachfrage einen bekommen hätte, da wir aber eh keinen benötigt hatten, war das dann […] egal. Die Lage des Motels ist auch sehr gut, zu Fuß ist man schnell am Strand oder einigen guten Restaurants. Mit dem Auto erreicht man auch schnell and bequem die meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten in Los Angeles. Alles in allem ein großartiger Aufenthalt und wenn es uns wieder nach L.A. verschlagen sollte, dann würden wir es wieder genauso buchen. Les mer

Schönes Hotel in Strandnähe(3 Blocks) und in, für LA Verhältnisse, guter Gegend. Waschsalon, Subway, Mexikaner und Pizzeria in unmittelbarer Nähe. Freundliches und Hilfsbereites Personal. Die Zimmer sind klein aber Ok, nur leider ist kein Föhn vorhanden. Frühstück gibts auch nicht.
