Hotel room was clean and bathroom was big, with a bath tub. Amenities provided were adequate, including herbal salt, bath sponge, shampoo, conditioner, body soap and face/hand soap. It was convenient, economical and fitted our purpose for the trip. Breakfast service was unexpectedly good. It would be more convenient if there was a public telephone with prepaid card, since telephone card machine was in the hotel lobby.

Friendly staff with good English capability; a little distance to station if your luggage is heavy; but the best bathroom (spacious and not clinically designed) I found in the hotels in the same price range and even better than some hotels in the higher priced range.

This hotel, if you know anything about Shinjuku, is among a bevvy of host/hostess clubs, so if this makes you uncomfortable, don't go. Otherwise, I emphatically recommend it. The staff was super courteous, the bathrooms are SUPERB, the rooms small but nice, and the internet fast. Hotel Location is kind of hard to find... Hotels.com should provide a much clearer map location (especially if its your first time in Japan, and doesn't speak or read the language). The 10 min walk from the JR Train station ended up being 1 hour and a half just looking for the hotel on our first night. Hotel and room was very clean with very unfriendly staff not speaking english. Not bad location though in a very dirty area and also it is NOT for families cause it is located in the area with prostitutes and pimps. I liked location cause it was very close to the massive shopping area and lots of places to eat in the evening. The hotel was fine. It's in the middle of Korea town. Lots of nice Korean restaurants nearby. The room was small, like I'm sure most Japanese hotels are. They had a new 42" TV, and the shower was big and lots of water pressure. The hotel is close enough to the subway stations, maybe a 5-10 min walk. It's in shinjuku, which is a bit far from most tourist […] attractions, but a short subway ride will get you anywhere. Right in the heart of the Kabukicho entertainment district, this hotel was absolutely amazing. The room was the largest we found in our trip, and had a spacious bathroom (by Japan standards). The large flatscreen TV was a highlight as well! The staff were very helpful, and only too keen to practise their English with us. We stayed for 3 nights and left […] wanting more. Les mer

Located in the Kabukiccko area of Shinjuku , technically the red light area but also a place of pachinko places, bars and eateries this small Hotel is good value. A 15 minute walk to the station so light luggage only and shopping area of Shinjuku.Rooms dark, windows in some open onto the next door building wall but are clean and functional, quality […] bedding, tea coffee, small well laid out bathroom. Very nice hotel, located in the best part of Shinjuku, just 10 min walk from the Shinjuku Station. Room was very clean and comfortable, price was brilliant. There is little space to put your luggage, but it does not matter. We will definitely stay here next time we travel to Tokyo. Only criticism: breakfast. Perhaps the worst hotel experience I've had in my life. First of all, it was very difficult to find in the warren of hotels that surround it; the hotel staff spoke no English at all, and when I said to them in Japanese "I'm stood near hotel [X]", they still had no idea how to help. Later on it turns out I was about 30 metres away but they didn't know […] the hotel names adjacent! The first room I was put in smelt of vomit so I got put in a room on the ground floor. The hotel reception clerk seemed genuinely sorry for the inconvenience but it was a pretty awful room and I got no form of compensation except the offer of some febreeze if I didn't like the smell in there! The hotel itself is situated in the most seedy area I've been to in my life. I had completely different expectations about Shinjuku. Basically if you're white, African men pretending to be American will constantly, repeatedly approach you, grab you and genereally make your experience very very unpleasant. There was also an abundance of old Chinese prostitutes masquerading as Japanese on the streets too. It's impossible to find a single route without getting pestered. Even if you try to walk away from the black men, they follow you. I ended up just staring at the floor and pretending not to understand English. i highly regret booking this hotel, complete waste of 2 precious nights in Tokyo. Steer clear! Les mer

Everything is perfect, the condition of the hotel is brand new, and location is superb, really close to shopping and major JR line about 5-10 minutes walk from east entrance. It is also used for high end love hotel though, as Shinjuku itself is a famous red light district.

This is a pretty good hotel. Rooms are clean and quiet, although they are pretty small (as I would think most Tokyo hotel rooms are). Front desk staff speak servicable english and are willing to help out with any questions or look up any information for you. The area around the hotel (Shinjuku) is pretty hectic - it's Tokyo's "red-light district", and […] has a lot of gentlemen's clubs etc. It's also a bit difficult to navigate around the area. Getting to and from the airport and this hotel is reasonably simple, as you can catch the airport limousine bus for 3000Y and get dropped off at Shinjuku station (about 10 mins walk or a short cab ride from the hotel). All in all I was quite satisfied with this hotel, although if you want a more relaxing region I probably wouldn't recommend staying in Shinjuku. Les mer

The hotel was very well located for what we were interested in which was walking and seeing the sites of town. Taxi service was at the door the minute the Hotel called. Information and directions given at the desk were great. Hooking up with a tour was within a 5-6 minute walk. Can't say enough good things that we enjoyed.

L’hôtel et neuf et propre. Les lits sont confortables et la salle de bain est exceptionnelle. Chose rare au japon, les chambres sont relativement spacieuses et très bien équipées. Par contre, deux points m'ont particulièrement surpris. Le petit déjeuner était offert. Bien, sauf que celui-ci consistait en une boite contenant 2 sandwich Sncf et une omelette […] et c'est tout. Je n'oserais pas appeler cela un petit déjeuner d'autant qu'il nous fallait attendre pour que être servi. Nous avons fini par ne plus le demander et le prendre à l'extérieur. Deuxième point, le quartier est très animé et impressionnant. Si l’hôtel se trouve un peu a l'écart et au calme, il est nécessaire pour s'y rendre de traverser le quartier de Shijuku. Or cela peut être déstabilisant des voir tous ces japonnais se défoulant dans un environnement type Pigalle pour les jeunes enfants. Ceci dit, informé de ces éléments, je retournerai dans cet hôtel sans aucun problème et avec plaisir. Les mer

방이 너무 작다는 후기를 많이 봐서 걱정 많았었는데, 생각만큼 작지는 않았습니다. 혼자 지내기에는 매우 안락하고 좋았습니다. 욕실도 매우 깨끗하고 특히나 욕조가 넓어서 피로 풀기에 아주 좋았고, 침대도 깨끗해서 잠도 매우 잘 잤습니다. 직원분들도 너무 친절하셨고, 조식을 방까지 가져다 주시는 것도 좋았습니다. 다만, 생각보다는 신주쿠역에서 조금 멀었습니다. 더군다나 가부키초 한 가운데를 가로지르는 길이 가장 가까워서 그쪽으로 오다보니 밤에는 조금 위험하다 싶기도 했습니다. 신주쿠와 신 오오쿠보에서 오는 길을 동시에 표시해 주시면 좋겠습니다. 덕분에 좋은 여행 되었습니다. 감사합니다~^^
