This little hotel has a cozy atmosphere. It's run by an elderly man who has full control so here everything is well sorted out. The hotel itself is an architectural interesting building, not like a block concisting of cells, like many Delhi-hotels tend to be. We had a luxury(?) room, it was huge and airy, clean and with a comfortable bed. It was at […] the back and therefore quiet. The rooftop terrace was nice and they have got a pretty rich menu. The neighbourhood is not the "prettiest", but on the other hand it gives you a sense of the more authentic India. I liked it, but if it's your first time to India you'll not get a soft start.. Be ware of the information desk close to the entrance; here they don't give you objective information but everything is about selling you tours. All in all; I wouldn't mind staying at Hari Piorko on my next trip to Delhi! Les mer

Hotellet ligger i et shabby omraade, men ligger sentralt i Delhi sentrum. Til prisen var dette et bra hotell!

Well hari piroko has great rooms. Very comfortable beds along with down comforter. Room was clean inc. the bathroom which is hard to find in India. If you are not a fan of noisy streets until the early morning then again at 5:00am make sure you book one of the more "delux" rooms this will take you off the street front. However with the heat we used […] our ac and that drowned out some of the noise for us. The "tour office" downstairs is interesting and everytime you walk through the door you will be harassed to book something. (As if this is uncommon in India, it's not) the front desk when trying to check in was a big of a mess. He stared as us for a wile talked to passerbys but when we finally got checked in and shown to our room we were happy. Les mer

Average hotel stay, clean accomodations but slightly run down conditions. Very friendly and helpful front desk staff!

This was the end of our India trip and by now we were used to a lot less for a little more money. Yes, as usual, they tried the "oh, that's the delux room, it'll cost you more' thing, which tainted our experience a little, but the rooms were indeed clean, and much higher quality (great matresses, high quality and clean sheets, ok showerheads - not the […] rainhower they promised), good and reliable internet in the rooms, and overall good services and very nice people. Pahrganj is a grunge hole. But for the buget price range (Delhi-style), Hari Piorko is pretty decent. Clean linens, clean towels, clean bathroom if you don't look too closely. My room was large, bed was comfortable, and there was plenty of furniture for holding luggage or sitting. I didn't like that there was no window in my room. The fish tank was […] interesting, but it was grossly filthy and overgrown with Algae my first two days, but miraculously clean on my third. Food on the rooftop was ok but very overpriced and nothing special (although the rooftop garden is nice.) Location is great as it's a short walk to the New Delhi Train station and the New Delhi Metro Station, so it's easy access to anything else in the city. Although the neighborhood is dirty and unappealing, I will note that I felt safe enough walking from the metro through the train station and down the street to Hari Piorko as a solo female as late as 11PM; it's a very busy neighborhood where foreigners are not uncommon, which is a plus when you're traveling alone and don't want to be stuck in your hotel after dark. I stayed here 2 nights and it was great value for the money. Biggest selling point is the location. The road Main Bazar is one of the most interesting in all of Delhi!

You won't carry amazing memories of your experience of Hari Piorko, but the rooms are clean, the bed is comfy, and the location is quite central. Our room was far from charming - the window looked onto a dirty air shaft - but the fish tank was a fun quirk. I found the Hari Piorko very comfortable (stayed one night in January 2013). It's well located on the main street in Pahar Ganj, and just five minutes' or so walk to New Delhi train station. Right in the middle of bazzar so busy and dusty but room large and clean witn fish tank and cheap so cant fault it will stay again.

Everyone at the hotel is friendly and very helpful. The amenities are nice for this price range. It certainly isn't 5 star, but it is a comfortable place in a central location. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is located in the Main Bazar area, very close to New Delhi Train Sation and the nearest metro station is ony 5 mins away by walking. Friendly staff and convenient luggage storage service is a bonus. However, the room can be kept better. We found that the floor of the room is dirty. We don't have enough hot water for shower. デラックスルームを予約しました。しかし、空いている部屋に連れて行かれた。アメニティーも記載されている内容と違い。汚いタオルのみ。予約すべきではないホテルです。ホテルランクはゲストハウスのデカイ感じです。この程度のゲストハウスは周辺に沢山あります。その方が部屋見て借りれるし、余っているから安く借りれる。クレームを入れて適当に言われます。掃除はしてくれる。 【アドバイス】次は絶対いつも通りメインバザールに泊まるなら行って目で見て部屋を決めます。年末に５年ぶりに行きましたが張りぼてのホテルが増えて余っている状態です。TVでは観光地と言っていますが元はスラムです。現地のインドは余り来ない所です。１本道を変えたらもっと激しく張りぼてホテルがあります。そこに現地の人は行っているようです。だからついて宿な […] い深夜ついて宿ないとなる事は絶対にないです。初めに書きましたがインドでは目で見た事が真実です。高級ホテル以外はウソが多いです。当たりを引くのが難しいです。自分も基礎を思い出すようなホテルです。 【追記】レセプションは人の話だけは聞くでも何もしない。 Les mer

Hvis du ikke er sart, så er Piorko perfekt beliggende midt på main bazar i Old Delhi. Man skal lige gennem skidtet, rickshaws, et mylder af gadehandel, så kommer man ind på hotellet. Her bliver man mødt med venlighed - værelset var stort - rent sengelinned og så ikke ret meget mere efter vestlig standard. インド各地で同程度の金額のホテルに滞在しましたが、飛び抜けてよいホテルでした。 水回りも含めて、部屋は非常に清潔です。ACも問題なく動きますし、ホットシャワーの水量も日本並みです。 レセプションや清掃スタッフの対応も素晴らしく、ルームサービスやツアーなどを向こうから進めてくることもありません。 ただ、駅までのプリペイドタクシーを予約したのですが、運転手に少し高いチップを要求されました。仕事はきちんとしてくれましたし、インドでは仕方がないことだと思いますが。 付属のレストランも、味は普通ですが清潔で使いやすいです。栓抜きを借りに行ったときも、心よく助けてくれました。 デリーの別のホテルでトラブルがあり、予算が厳しかったのですが、現地の友人がその事情を説明し、交渉してくれ、割引きもしてくれました […] 。 メインバザールの中なので外は騒がしいですが、インド気分には浸りたいが、清潔なホテルに泊まりたいという人にはぴったりだと思います。 Les mer

Pour l'Inde cet hotel est assez propre. Le personnel est aimable. Le restaurant est très bon et la terrasse sur le toit très agréable. Nous avions réservé nos chambres sur internet pour une nuit, nous avons voulu reprendre une chambre pendant notre séjour, le prix était plus élevé que par internet...
