Sundance Inn - Jackson

this hotel must have been somewhere that the old cowboys stayed! it was small, especially the bathroom, but right downtown with easy parking. walls were thin but there weren't may guests. breakfast was very simple but something is better than nothing! one block from the million dollar cowboy bar!

The Sundance Inn is clearly a budget "motel" with an outstanding location. The rooms are accessed from the outside and very small. Our room was very clean. The hotel staff was very helpful and spirited. If you're looking for a budget "motel" in a great location, I recommend the Sundance Inn.

This stay exceeded my expectations. I knew it was an older facility but the rooms were clean and cozy. The location couldn't be beat. And the staff was teriffic, especially the morning crew who were friendly and knowledgeable. They gave us different routes to try to get better views of the animals in the Tetons. This joint is well worth the money!

We have stayed here 3 times over the last 10 years and the location couldn't be better. The rooms seemed to have been refurbished and now include a microwave and bar fridge, but doesn't take away from the quantness of original 50/60s decor which is in very good condition. Older hotel but badly needs renovations. The toilet seat was cracked in half and the bathroom light did not work. Centrally located.

I never saw any of the hotel staff, but had an easy time finding my key and all I needed. The place is a bit quirky: small room with 2 very comfortable twin beds, microwave, refrigerator. The bathroom seemed right out of the 1960's, but was clean, and the shower provided lots of hot water. I was pleasantly surprised with the Sundance. The the young lady at the desk was Extremely helpful and knowledge able about dining, where to find bargains and the area in general. Upon arrival, the was cold water and lemonade available in the lobby with bakery fresh cookies. The motel has an excellent location. It is on the Main streat and a block away […] fron city park. This is an older property, but our room was exceptionally clean, very comfortable, and priced below many others in the area. it is located in downtown Jackson. I would certainly consider returning to this hotel again on any future visits.

This is a moderate yet great hotel at a great location. Within walking distance from the heart of JH. Pet friendly, which is a HUGE factor and a GREAT advantage for this hotel. Only slight issue is that breakfast starts at 08:00 am, by which time many guests want to start moving towards Yellowstone Park (or wherever they may go). Disinterested check-in by young people. Room very small - not like picture. Bathroom was old and in need of attention. No way could the sofa in the picture have fitted into our room. Breakfast area smaller than picture but we never got to use it since there was still no one there at 8:10 in the morning in a tourist town where people get out and about […] early. It was supposed to open at 8 but there were no lights or any sign that breakfast was being organized. Several guests waited and were told on the phone that if we were cold we should go back to our rooms and wait. Very slack attitude to guests. We finally went down the street to get breakfast. No idea about pool in photo. Pictures were very misleading for a very small operation where the owners apparently lived up the twisting outside stairs. No excuse for this property in this busy town. There are numerous hotel/motel stay options in Jackson, though all seem to be expensive, regardless of quality. Sundance Inn has not been upgraded, renovated in decades. It's only redeeming quality is that it is in the middle of the village/town of Jackson.

This property is in a great location but is very old and the parking is tight but adequate. We stayed in Room #1. Overall the room was clean and everything worked. However, the carpet in this room was horrible. In all my years, this was the worst carpet I have ever seen in a hotel - large stains that appeared to have never been cleaned. I had to use the lobby/ breakfast room in the evening to get access to the wifi. There was no desk in the room. The Mexicans hanging around the lobby with the front desk girl was a bit un-nerving. Continental Breakfast was only coffee and bad muffins. The motel roms are small and need to be updated, i.e. decor & bath

I would never recommend this hotel to anyone despite it being in a convenient location. In addition to the room being extremely small, the bathroom was small with the sink having no surrounding counter so it may very difficult for me to insert & take out my contact lenses. Fortunately, the parks & shopping were very close by so we spent as little time […] as possible in the room. And what they call "breakfast" was just a few sweet rolls, a bunch of bananas, coffee, tea & watered-down lemonade. We had to go to local restaurants to get a real breakfast. Les mer

The Sundance Inn was fantastic. True, the rooms are small and the bathroom decorations outdated, but it was still great-- especially for the price! The location is unbelievable. It is only steps away from the town square, around which pretty much everything revolves. The room and bathroom were small, but they were immaculately clean. The beds were surprisingly […] comfortable. The only negative was that the showerhead was too low. How low? I'm 5'4" and it was just barely high enough for me, so you can imagine how low it was for my 6'1" husband. But honestly, that is the only even remote complaint. Nice place Rooms were small but cozy. great place if you are not going to spend alot of time in the room. But why would you spend alot of time in a hotel room in Jackson. Quaint clean, nice place would defintely stay again. Staf friendly and courteous

The decor was not your boring, run-of-the-mill motel room. Bathroom was tile in fun colors. Bed had down comforter that was very warm and the bed itself was comfortable. The room heater seemed like it had some trouble keeping up with the -13 temperature outside, so if you are a chilly type, bring warm pajamas. Hotel Sundance ligger perfekt placeret i Jackson. Hotellet er ikke dyrt, selv om Jackson fremstår som en by for velhavere. Der er rent og pænt og roligt om natten.

Wie viele Hotels in Jackson ist das Sundance Inn schon etwas älter, aber das Personal ist äußerst hilfsbereit wenn es Probleme gibt (bei uns klemmte mal das Türschloß). Haben ohne nachzufragen ein Zimmerupgrade angeboten bekommen. Hotel liegt sehr zentral in Jackson, also gut als Ausgangspunkt zur Erkundung des Ortes geeignet.
