Roli's Bed & Breakfast - Austin

Roli's B&B was a great place to stay as a young couple looking to have a slower paced stay. The House is a 30 minute drive from downtown Austin and is a very scenic place to stay.. The young lady who greeted us at check in was nice and friendly, and she makes an awesome ham and cheese or vegetable omelet at breakfast time. Our stay in the green room […] was lovely, and the room was cleaned for us every day. We had our own private bathroom and balcony overlooking the lake, however, the lake was dry due to drought conditions in early April. There wasn't a TV in our room, however, the TV in the common room downstairs was available to watch. In fact, at times it seemed as if we were the only couple staying there. Make sure to check in at 3 or 4 p.m. or arrange a check in time if you plan to check in later as we did run into a couple who recently were married and trying to check into their room at 10 p.m., yet couldn't because they were unable to find a staff member to check in with right away. This is a great place to reconnect with your spouse, and a scenic part of Austin. This place also has a hot tub, sauna, books to read, lots of deck space and patio furniture to sprawl out and relax on, a pool table and full-service kitchen including wine (for a fee), snacks, cereal and fresh produce. It was our first stay at a B&B, and we're eager to plan another romantic getaway at Roli's very soon! Les mer

I defenitely recommend this place for you getaway in Austin. The owners and staff were super specials with us. It's a piece of heaven on earth. Quite, beautiful, just what you are looking for when trying to get away of your rutine. Great location. 5 STARS... Thank you Rolando and Kenia

Positives: beautiful room, beautiful view (even with drought conditions), good breakfast, close to the mall and the oasis centre, amazing hot tub in the blue room we stayed in. Negatives: smelled like sewage the 1st day outside the balcony area, unconvenient parking, loud guests. Neutral: no TV in bedroom

Complete misrepresentation of this bed & breakfast. Actually there is no breakfast. The staff left two boxes of dry cereal on the counter in the kitchen. I truly felt like I was imposing on someone's home. Other guest were voicing there personal complaints of there stay also. Very uncomfortable. The attendant barley spoke English and was difficult to […] communicate with. There was no signage so it took us quite some time to figure out how to get to the guest parking area. This home is in a beautiful area but it's not very comfortable or accommodating . Les mer

I wanted to experience a Bed & Breakfast for the first time and came across Roli's. I read some nice reviews about the owners and was looking forward to meeting them. The first day was awkward because we showed up and no one was home, door was open though and I knew I ordered the "green room" so I found it with the key on it. We made ourselves at home […] and hoped it was ok to just "check in" on our own. The place is across from the lake, but the lake is very dry at the moment so we had to drive a small distance to get to the water. It's sad to see how the area use to look with the water there compared to the dryness now, but thats not their fault. We did finally meet owner as we were leaving on the last day and he was very friendly. Place is very clean and cozy. I was hoping to go in the Jacuzzi though, but my husband thought it wasn't clean enough, so that was the only down fall. Otherwise it was very relaxing, nice to be near the lake and the oasis, and our green room was romantic-) I also liked that they don't allow children there. Les mer

The staff was super friendly, they made us feel right at home. Our room was beautiful and clean. Everything about our stay was great - the hospitality, the comfort of the room, the sauna and hot tub, breakfast on the balcony ... Couldn't have asked for a more relaxing getaway.

We had a wonderful stay here. My husband and I went for our anniversary as a weekend getaway and we were very pleased. It was nestled amongst the hills and nature of Lake Travis and absolutely a serene getaway. They were very hospitable and as far as breakfast, it is light, but they also have a menu you can special order from. The rooms were very clean […] and we really enjoyed our stay. The rooms at Roli's are clean and the location is good. However, Don't expect breakfast. They keep juice, a little milk, yogurt, and fruit in the fridge. There are no muffins or pastries. They do have a brief menu for an additional cost, but the the continental selection may as well be nonexistant. Toiletries are family sized containers from costco. […] We ran out of toilet paper and had to find the attendant. The hot tub contained a huge bleach tab that bleached our swimsuits. We never saw the manager after check-in. We felt deserted. . We helped ourselves to the whiskey available on the kitchen counter. The manager said we had access to everything in the kitchen. We had 2 shots a piece and the housekeeper (who we saw infrequently) told the manager that we drank half the bottle. We got one of the shots right in front of the housekeeper, and she never said a word. On our way out, the manager, charged us 42 dollars for the 4 shots. It was insulting. I can't believe they had the nerve to mention any extra charges after such an unsatisfactory stay. Les mer
