Excellent, they let us check in early, even shuttle to airport next morning was great, he was early and didn't take a lot of time to get us there. Would defenitely stay there again

The family stayed one night after a cruise (flights were much cheaper a day later). The pick up from the cruise went well and I was able to check in early. The nearby mall provided entertainment and dinner and was only a short walk away (15 minutes to the north end). The suite was large, but after a cruise anything would seem big. DIdn't arrive until 10:00 pm, but the staff was very helpful by providing menus for local places that deliver that late. We needed extra blankets, etc. and they were brought up to the room within 10 minutes of check in. Left early the next morning for a flight, and the hotel shuttle delivered us to the airport on time.....

A pleasant stay. It is wonderfdul to be picked up at the airport one day and delivered to the cruise port the next. We book it for that reason and are never disappointed.

Room was clean and attractively appointed. Lobby with nice cafe/bar and tables. Tough to see see the entrance road. They really need to put up a big sign. I recommend it for a stay.

A 'diamond in the rough' Clean, close to the Ft Lauderdale Airport and shuttle picked us up within 10 minutes of our call. This is a good hotel for a short stay while going elsewhere. Enjoyed our overnight stay. Very helpful with our transfer to the cruise ship. Very good breakfast at a reasonable price. Will stay again when in this area of Florida.

New hotel, stayed here in 2012 and returned in Jan 2013 because it is nice, new clean and well run. Good beds and nice sized room, great staff. We did have some issues with getting our Room cleaned and lack of towels but when we talks to management everything was corrected and we were given a discount on our room rate for 1 night. The hotel itself was very modern and clean. The staff was friendly and accomodating. We arrived at 11 am after a cruise and asked for an early check in (at the same time as several other people) They tried very hard to accomodate everyone and check us all in quickly. We were the lucky ones and had our room by noon. The day of check out we didn't realize […] we had to book the shuttle to the airport ahead of time. We showed up at the front desk and were told the shuttles were full all morning. The hotel called us a cab and paid for our trip to the airport. Much appreciated! I would stay there again and recommend to a friend. The only negative is that there aren't many shopping facilities close to the hotel. The hotel is well run, efficient and friendly staff. My only concern is the neighbourhood! During the day, we have no issue when walking between hotel and the big Plaza. But after sunset, it was a slightly different story. I did not feel save when walking back. Mind you it was only a short walk.

VERY disappointed...arrived at 10PM so didn't want to start switching...SO I cleaned the dirty toilet myself...couldn't open safe next morning...old beer can was locked in it (should have been opened and cleaned prior to our arrival)..asked for extra towels..left no extra towels...one washcloth for two people...NO extra toilet paper ..we ran out and […] called for more...45 minutes it still wasn't there...went down to front desk where manager said so sorry...I complained that a bowl of oatmeal was $6...ridiculous (it's less at Starbucks for Gods sake)...when I said I wouldn't be returning he shrugged and said he was sorry. again.....no effort to perhaps offer any incentive to return or comp anything...I usually stay at Hyatt Place but went for a better price here...I guess you get what you pay for! Very friendly & helpfull staff. Good breakfast. We didn't use the pool although it looked great. The pool is outside and has a very spacious & relaxing area. It is a very quiet hotel, as it is a couple of blocks away from the freeway. We discovered that the hotel has a good working relationship with (Rent Me) a car rental agency, they will drop the […] vehicle off & pick it up at the hotel. The car rental agency is not located @ the airport, you have to take their shuttle to the rental agency, so it is simpler to go directly to the hotel. The hotel has a complimentary airport shuttle & a shuttle to the cruise terminal ($10.00) per couple. you can prearrange pickup from the cruise ship to hotel or airport. It doesn't matter what time you get off the ship. Cost is $20/couple to the airport . The bottomline is that the hotel is very close to the airport& cruise terminal, so it probably wouldn't make too much difference whether you went by shuttle or cab. Your choice would likely be determined by convenience. P.S. confirm my comments with the hotel/car rental agency before committing to any of these options Les mer

A very solid suite-style hotel. It was an excellent choice for our stay after a cruise. The pool has areas well-shaded by palms so it was a great way to spend a full day without a car. The two-bedroom suite was very comfortable for our small group. Staff was friendly and helpful.

wonderful experience. will book again. The hotel is very comfortable. The food is good and service is great. Enjoyed the quiet and the number of TVs available in the guest rooms. Beds were very comfortable. My sleep was very restful.

The male font desk clerk was warm and fiendly and made me feel right at home when checking in as well as checking out. He also understood and fulfilled my request for an open shower instead of a tub and shower, as there is an option at this hotel. The other staff also was very polite. The room was clean as expected. We had 16 family members sharing dinner the night we arrived, and the service was superb. Transportationto the ship, for 12, complete with baggage, could not have been better.

We were just looking for a place to stay the night before taking an early flight out of Ft. Lauderdale, but this hotel really surprised us, and we wished we could stay a little longer. All the rooms seem to have been recently renovated in an attractive, very modernist style. Even though the rooms are by no means huge, they managed to separate the bedroom […] from a little sitting area with couch and TV with a half-wall with some decorative shelving and vases, without making things feel cramped. Very little closet space, but the bedroom has a nice bench that easily fits two carry-on bags. In a hotel right next to the airport, not too many travelers stay for more than one night anyway, so most won't bother to use a closet anyway. We stayed here after a cruise before flying home. It was a very nice hotel. The only complaint is the pull-out sofa bed, but that's pretty common.

I reserved well in advance. Our room was facing the freeway which I did not like. It was nothing exceptional for overnight. I found the location far away from everything. I would rather next time have some amenities close by and have things to do close by.

We were there for an overnight before a cruise. We had no car and found good food and drinks at the hotel. The facility was lovely, and the staff very helpful. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. They shuttled us to the cruiseport in the AM and were very organized and helpful the whole way.

We reserved for 4 adults . The room was perfect for 2 adults. The hidebed was unacceptable. The mattress was only springs. Impossible to sleep.There was only towels for 2 adults . They should not rent these rooms for 4 adults.

Excellent experience from airport pickup to departure. Very clean, great beds, friendly staff. Room could easily be a long term place to live....it had everything and had been recently updated. I definitely will return here!

It was a great hotel for our pre-cruise. There was some confusion on my part about charges to take us to the ship. Bottom line $5/person even though the hotel said it was free. There is only a Subway, sandwich shop and Cuban restaraunt within walking distance..Outside of the hotel area, the neighborhood is industrial and a little on the seemy side.

The hotel and the room were both beautiful. Lovely pool. The room was a suite divided into a mini kitchen area (fridge, microwave, counter), sitting area (couch, desk, TV) and a sleeping area (bed, night tables). Very efficient use of space and very inviting. There were a few drawbacks: had to wait on the room, no included breakfast, and a bit secluded. My […] husband did go exploring and found a fantastic Cuban restaurant just a few minutes walk away (we had no car) called the Las Vegas Cuban restaurant. This hotel has the friendliest staff we have ever encountered! Everyone, from the front desk to housekeeping, made us feel very welcome. We stayed at the hotel twice on this trip, 3 days before our cruise and another 3 days after. We were upgraded to a corner suite the first stay which was beautiful. We basically had a small 3 room apartment. We had […] a standard king suite the second stay which was also very nice. The breakfast buffet was good. We would eat a late breakfast and then have an early dinner so the cost of the breakfast for us actually covered 2 meals. On our second stay there was a problem with our room door lock batteries so the hotel gave us free breakfast for our inconvenience. When we first arrived in Ft. Lauderdale we waited almost an hour for the shuttle so we thought we might be in for some difficulties, but after seeing the road construction and traffic delays, we understood why it took so long. When we returned from our cruise, our timing was just right and we waited 7 minutes for the shuttle. It only took 10 minutes to get the airport on our way home. The shuttle service between the airport and the cruise port (which was free for us since we booked through Expedia) was very convenient. We enjoyed the hotel and the staff immensely. We will be staying at Cambria Suites whenever we travel to Ft. Lauderdale. Les mer
