We (I my wife and our daughter 4 months) lived at this hotel for two days. We only have positive memories from the hotel. Two really nice, helpful girls "stuepike" who worked there (Anne and another one) were absolutely helpful. Tthere is no people in the reception, you just need to call the manager and fixes everything. Enjoy!

"The best thing about it is the location!"
The location of the hotel is absolutely perfect, just a few seconds from the main street in Reykjavik. Close to restaurants, museums, shopping and everything Reykjavik has to offer. It is also easy to get around, as tour operators pick you up just outside the hotel. The central location has its negative consequenses though, it was really noisy at night. "Lovely staying in Apartment K"
Originally i have booked the hip studio room, but they have an apartment for me instead, the room is Hugh & comfortable, never been to an apartment big big a home. Itś all very clean and new, staff have been helpful. So overall is highly recommended i my case, totally value for money

booked studio apartment... no ipod dock... no one took out my trash daily... pots/pans were not non-stick, no directions on how to use stove... dish rags/bath towels provided but not replaced daily...
"Wow - more than the comforts of home"
This was one of the best apartment rental experiences of my life and I travel frequently. The ammenities, state of the art appliances, location, decor, artwork and friendly attitude by everyone we dealt with was truely outstanding. Having an early (7 am) arrival, we had requested an early check-in knowing that we would be able to ditch/store our bags […] while awaiting the availability of our room. We also knew that the apartments are not all located in the same building and that we needed to call the main office for someone to meet us. After anwering on the first ring, we were told that somone would come to meet us shortly - this took less than two minutes. We were told that because of availability and that we had requested early CI, they were ready for us and we could check in immediately (though this was lucky and not always the case).Kathy, one of the owners personally guided us through the apartment which was spacious, stunning and not only included great appliances but extras almost never found in such situations (spices, coffee beans(to go with the espresso maker) and all utensils). This being our first visit to Iceland, she gave great advise,answered numerous questions, detailied everything on our map and writing down details - not unlike a five star concierge. During our stay, every time we contacted the staff for assistance, it was always immediate, warm and professional. We will definitely be back!!! Les mer

The apartment we got is one street off of the main street so it was close but away from the noise. Great one bedroom apartment, funkily dressed up and quality appliances. Love it!

What a great place to stay! We rented the studio apartment which was spacious, clean and facilities were complete we felt totally home (better than our London's current rented place actually). The tempur bed was an excellent bonus, a chance for both myself and husband to fix our back pain! Location cannot be better right at the centre of the city […] where shops, 24 hours supermarket and plenty of eating place are around. Some information that might be useful are: check-in place is different from the actual apartment but it's less than 5 mins walk. Also, apartments comes with stairs only, no lift. The only backdraw that we experienced was it stated that there will be light cleaning every 3 days but it didn't happen. We stayed for 5 nights with rubbish piling up in the kitchen. "Perfet Location"
Apartment K was a beautiful apartment in the perfect location for sight seeing, restaurants and bars in Reykjavik. The Apartment K reception (Kathy) was excellent in her help and knowledge of the area even at 4:00 a.m. when we arrived. It is very noisy on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights from the bar crowds and it goes on from 12pm to 6 am. There […] is no escaping this noise in Reykjavik City Center since all the hotels and apartments are older and not well insulated and you are right in the middle of it all. We bought ear plugs and this worked wonderfully and slept well the rest of the trip. This was a beautiful vacation we will never forget. Les mer
"Apartment K - Studio"
The apartment was nice, very modern. The location is terrific as well, right where you want to be, steps away from the tourist info office and all the pubs. The bathroom in our apartment (K-1), was horrendous. Although super modern, the pebbled bathroom flooded all over the place since the shower did not have a door or curtain and was open to the rest […] of the bathroom. It would not drain properly, so the bathroom remained a puddle all day every day. We told the hotel's management and all they did was give us more towels to put on the floor - not what you'd expect for the price and ambience of the place. Les mer
"Just UH-MAZING!!"
Where can I start... well first one should know Apartment K is just that, an apartment... not a hotel. With that said, it is more so a home away from home. Our room which we had for 8 days had bathroom (blow dryer included, which was a life saver as my converter did not work on mine), living room, full functioning kitchen which is up to date & modern […] with all dishes & cookware included & a partial bedroom (we got the deluxe studio). We were on the top floor which over looked the main strip. Being it is the main strip, know that it can be loud... nothin ear plugs won't fix. Upon our arrival Kathy & her husband made every effort to get us in as soon as possible, and informed us of the necessities which helped with planning out our week. In addition, they have a car rental available, which made the sightseeing much easier as we were not looking forward to taking tours/excursions everywhere. I have to say that this is the most inviting place I have stayed at... considering this was an international stay for us, we were pleasantly surprised with how at home we were. Kathy & her husband are so amazingly nice & generous. We will DEFINITELY be back & have already called Apartment K our home away from home in Iceland. Les mer

The apartment is very clean, looks very modern and is centrally located in the city and within blocks to most of the downtown stores. It's also near a grocery store to buy your own food. "Apartment K - Fantastic!"
We were a family of ~5 adults so wanted an apartment instead of 2 hotel rooms. We had the top floor"penthouse" of Apt K on Skolastraeta. There are lots of apartments so I don't know if this review is valid for other apts but our experience was terrific. We were landing at midnight so at their suggestion they arranged for a car service pick us up at […] airport and take us to the apt. It was 1 Am and a very pleasant young woman met us and got us settled in like it was 1 in the afternoon. She answered all our questions and offered lots of helpful suggestions. Throughout the stay we were allowed to use their housephone for local calls. also called the office for qestions. Better than a hotel concierge. All staff were friendly and helpful. I suspect the other apartments are great also but check them out separately Our apartment was very very cool. Large central area to hang out, 2 separate bedrooms for 2 each and one large couch that could sleep 2 more. Great view of sunsets over roof tops, modern furniture. huge TV with 100's of channels, full kitchen, tiny "deck" .. Limited view but 2 chairs and great to be outside with view of opera house in distance. Best part of apt were to 4 Tempurpedic beds. Very comfortable (I might get one next time I need a new bed) Great location. right off the main shopping street and bars. Can be active on the streets Fri and Sat night but that just made it more interesting. Bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper and will be there on the weekend but that wouldnt stop me from returning. Two minor problems: Only one bathroom with 4 step ladders into soaking tub and handheld shower. Fun to try once but could be awkward especialy if you're very tall or less agile. Looks like construction is starting next door so this might impact your stay. PS for a great meal try the Grill Market Restaurant, in a small courtyard 2 short blocks away. Best lamb chops I've ever had. Served with 3 dipping sauces - Dates, cream sauce and crushed nuts. I'd go back Les mer
"Great way to see Iceland"
But keep in mind that you won't have a check in spot but rather a place on the curb until the staff can come and let you in. Staff is very hard working and capable yet if they are with other customers, you wait on the curb in the cold for as long as it takes. Conveniences aside, the apt was great, comfy but not well appointed as compared to hotel (no […] tissue, shampo, toilet paper, for example). Great location. Les mer
"Great location"
Great location in the middle of the shopping district and close to supermarkets and pubs. Mod interior, super comfortable king sized bed. Staff was super nice and helpful. They let us check in early, and helped us out calling the tour company to reschedule when we missed our tourbus. Having our own kitchen, oven, and fridge came in handy to save some […] money on eating out. I would definitely stay there again and highly recommend this establishment to other travellers. Les mer

"ApartmentK - mitt i Reykjavik"
Bra hotell som verkligen ligger mitt i centrala Reykjavik. Det stora minuset var att toalettdörren var i glas, och dessutom var det en skjutdörr som glappade 5cm på varje sida. Så gillar du som de flesta andra att vara ifred i badrummet kan detta strula till det, idiotiskt att sätta in glasdörr som toadörr. I övrigt var hotellet bra, dock stort minus […] då WiFi-anslutningen var ur funktion under vår vistelse där. Les mer
Vänlig hotellpersonal och mkt snabb och bra service. Läget perfekt! Vi fick mer än vi hoppats på. Trots att det låg mitt i stan var störande ljud från gatan inte ett särskilt stort problem. Bra rullgardiner för fönstren och enkelt att justera inomhustemperaturen, vilket var särskilt bra eftersom det var mitt i vintern. Vänlig och bra service. Enda […] minus är att det hade varit bra med bättre städning, eller att erbjuda gästerna möjlighet att städa själva. Vi bodde två personer i en liten liten etta och det blev förstås mycket dammigt efter bara några dagar. Hade varit bra att dammsuga en gång mitt i veckan också. Les mer

繁華街には近いが、１階がバーになっており、週末は朝まで若者が騒いでおり、極めてうるさい。 設備も傷や汚れが目立ち、期待通りではなかった。 同程度の料金で他のアパートにも泊まったが、そちらの方が遙かに快適だった。
