Lewis & Clark ligger i Bozeman-området, har kort avstand til Montana arboretum og hager og vinteraktiviteter som slalåm og langrenn. Ikke langt unna finner du også Montana delstatsuniversitet i Bozeman og Amerikansk datamuseum.

"Close to downtown, but old & dirty"
The only real thing The Lewis & Clark has going for it is the location. The room we stayed in on the 2nd floor was old and dingy. The floors and chairs were stained. The bathroom had permanant grime in corners of walls and in the shower. The air conditioner scared me the most. It was so old, we were actually afraid that it might start on fire in the […] middle of the night!! I think it is time to remodel or lower your prices! "Not too clean"
The motel staff were nice and friendly. The room was spacious. There were more extras than usually found in a cheap motel. But....Not only was everything dated and in disrepair, it looked as if the carpet and furniture had NEVER been cleaned. My wife would not walk on the carpet in bare her feet and she wouldn't sit in any of the chairs. If only it […] was cleaned up a bit, I would recommend it. Les mer

A home oriented setting!!! Staff were very friendly and accomodating. It may be older set-up but everything was neat & clean...very roomy!!!!
"The L&C, a nostalgic favorite"
In Bozeman frequently for climbing trips, and love the L&C. Right next to co-op, very nice and friendly owner/staff. They've done quite a bit of renovation, tho has lost some kitsch(for me). Sooooo much better than the no-character freeway places. I try to stay there whenever in bozo
"Not nice at all"
Extremely dated furnishings. Needs a serious update with new bathrooms. Also not the best sleep. Pillows were cheap foam and very flat. Lower back aches every morning. Noisy.
The Lewis and Clark down town it's very old. There's mold on the walls and the place smells nasty, it'd just yucky but when you need place to lay your head it will due.

This large motel looks like in belongs in Las Vegas in the 50's. Carpeting was stained, sheets were threadbare and not particularly clean looking (we used our sleeping bags). "Montana State Bobcat Football"
Stayed her for the first Cat football game of the year. Excellent price, older but clean rooms, and within walking distance of everything you could want. Gracious staff and I plan on continuing to stay here during the season!

The reason to stay at this hotel is location and price. Located downtown, it is easy access to most of what Bozeman offers. The one thing I didn't like was that the room smelled like cigarette smoke and I was in a non-smoking room.

I had stayed here before and I like the location. The property is a bit tired and needs some TLC, but the room was clean, airconditioning worked well. The staff was very friendly. The hotel was rundown, dirty and there was no toilet paper in the bathroom. The pictures are not what it really looks like and the pool was being renovated. I don't see how Hotels.Com can endorse this place on there website.

Classic, retro, or just left over from the 60's, the L&C hotel is a remnant from a heyday long past. The place shows an older aesthetic and a bit of wear, but the location and price are right and they do good with what they have. Great hospitality too.
"Wierd door fronts"
I found the sliding glass door and all glass front of the room, which faces main street, to be wierd. Room could have been a little cleaner and the hot tub was luke warm. Decent size on the room and it had a fridge and wave. Price was decent if your not expecting much.

For the price, you can't beat the value for you dollar at Lewis and Clark. It is right in the heart of town, minutes from all of the restaurants and shops. Only a little over an hour from Big Sky which has INCREDIBLE skiing. The rooms themselves are old and could use some updating including new bedspreads. "Clean & Comfortable!"
Clean, comfortable rooms. Will stay here again!!! They were slow to remove the 7 inches of snow from parking lot that accumulated through the night. I watched several vehicles get stuck.

close to school and breakfast was a plus and honest house keepers left something at checkout and realized it an hour later and they held it at the front desk for pick up i would stay there again. Price was very reasonable.

"Very Nice, especially for the price...."
This hotel was much more than we expected, especially for the low price. It is conveniently located about 15 minutes from the airport and traffic is not bad at all. The hotel was very roomy and clean. Will definitely stay again when in Bozeman. The staff was very nice and hospitable.

"Convienently located downtown Bozeman!"
This is an older motel with all glass windows & door to the street - the main east-west street in Bozeman. On the ground floor we felt we needed to have the drapes drawn all the time as so many folks (& workers) were looking in. It made for a very dark space. We were using the room as a base for a business trip, and were in and out a lot - with day […] use of the room for computer work. (The lobby had a large table that was great for this purpose, if there was no one using the space.) Our 2 queen beds were fine, but the one tiny table with 1(seat broken) chair was very inadequate. We did not request help - but in looking into other rooms, it was obvious some were much better appointed than others. Ours looked like the leftover. Our stay was in July and everything was full in Bozeman with another conference in town. This was definitely not a good value stay considering the high season cost and poorly furnished room BUT the location is great, the Bozeman Food Coop is next door, staff is friendly, and it is easy to find your way around from here. If you had bikes along, you could easily ride everywhere you needed to go. Les mer
