Meget bra sted, god kommunikasjon med lokalbuss eller taxi de ca tre km opp til gamlebyen/ sentrum av Cartagena. Meget nær stranden, ca 10 meter fra utgang hotellets bakside. Hyggelig hotellpersonal, men uten engelskkunnskaper. Trygt, komfortabelt hotell.

"Not worth the money"
Maybe it's just personal preference but I just don't know why anyone would pay over $XXX for this hotel when the tourist hotels on the beach are the same or even less (and give you so much more the I'm looking for anyway like private beach, nice pools, fitness center etc.). I felt I was paying tourist prices without the tourist conveniences but I guess […] if you want to be right downtown inside the walled city maybe it's worth it for you. Taxis are cheap and only 10 minutes to beach hotels so not sure why anyone would do this though. That said service was good and it was clean. Les mer

Loved this little boutique hotel. The rooms are very nice, large, with a cool old Spanish feel, yet all the modern conveniences. The breakfast is amazing! I love the beautiful tree in the center courtyard that rises up thru the floors of the hotel. Would def stay there again. The Old City is spectatular. "Magical Cartagena"
We stayed at Bantu for 2 nights on February 4-6, 2011. The hotel was a beautiful little oasis, the staff was friendly, the facilities were nice. Considering the high prices of other hotels in Cartagena, Bantu was a good value. Breakfast was included every morning, and it could be brought to your room for no extra charge. The small rooftop pool, lounge […] area, sauna and turco were great for escaping the heat of the city for a few hours in the day. The reception printed our boarding passes when we were scheduled to leave, and were very helpful throughout. We also booked a tour to the mud volcano through the travel agent on site, which was quite a unique experience. Overall, a great hotel which we would highly recommend in the future. Les mer
"Nice hotel in the historical district."
A very nice hotel in the center of the historic center. The building has a lot of history. And it would be nice to give a short tour with the history information. The room was nice, also the bathroom. Overall a good place to stay. I only stayed one night, it is a little expensive. I have been to Cartagena now four years and stayed in a lot of the local […] hotels. I spend some days in Cartagena and then go to Santa Marta and Barranquilla. Not so many foreign tourists. Les mer
"Loved it"
The hotel is a converted colonial building located in the old town. The superior double rooms are spacious, have very comfortable beds and have nice clean bathrooms. The restaurant in the hotel was only open for breakfast and lunch unfortunately as it was off season but there are many nice places to eat within a 5 min walk. They have a roof top pool […] which is quite small.... however it suited me fine as I just wanted to cool off. If you're looking to swim lenghts then this is not the pool for you. Overall we loved our stay here and if we return we would stay here again. Les mer

"Hotel Bantu"
O Hotel é muito bem localizado, é agradável mas os quartos tem cheiro de mofo e a limpeza não me agradou. O café da manhã tb é muito restrito a menu pre pronto, custo beneficio deixa a desejar.

Vale la pena resaltar que en los baños de las habitaciones no hay secador para el cabello lo que es una incomodida para las mujeres especificament, lo solicitamos a la recepcion y se tardaron mas de una hora en llevarnolo argumentando que solo habia dos disponibles para todo el hote, la segunda vez nunca llegaron. hace falta musica en el area de la […] piscina y de los jacuzzis ya que esta solo se encuentra en el area del bar de la piscina y no abarca los demas sitios Les mer
"Pesimo servicio"
Nos cobraron consumos no realizados, sin demonstrar por comprovantes y no habia nadie para solucionar el inconveniente. La recepcionista fue grosera, no dió solución al problema y para poder realizar el checkout tuvimos que pagar consumos no realizados. Además, solicitamos almuerzo en la piscina, y nos dijeron que todo bien, pero después de más de 20 […] minutos por fin llegó una mesera y nos informó que solamente habia servicio de bebidas. Les mer
"Hotel Bantu Cartagena"
Um estabelecimento que se diz Hotel não pode fechar as 22:00 horas. No dia 1° de janeiro, me dirigi ao lobby do "hotel", para fazer o check-out as 04:00 horas da manhã, e, como só fica o vigia do Hotel não pude fazê-lo. Em que pese a boa vontade do vigia, ele não sabia, obviamente, como fazer. Ainda assim, deixei o numero do meu Cartão de Crédito, para […] incluir os extras e rumei para o aeroporto. Depois o Hotel ficou perturbando pedindo o numero do Cartão de Crédito, dizendo inclusive que se eu não pagasse, seria descontado do funcionário. Ainda assim, mandei de novo o número do meu cartão e pedi que me dessem o retorno sobre a operação, coisa que não aconteceu. Realmente, não é um Hotel, é uma Pousada. Les mer

"MUY RECOMENDADO!"
El hotel es perfecto, muy bien ubicado, la casa es espectacular, todo el personal muy amable, la terraza es espectacular, y el precio es bueno comparado con otros hoteles en Cartagena. Lo recomiendo mucho.

Pessoal bem treinado e atencioso. Ótima localização: muito perto dos principais pontos turísticos, que podem ser acessados a pé.

Recomendo MUITO o Bantú! O hotel é um prédio histórico restaurado, com decoração minimalista e arquitetura original preservada. Já no check-in, fomos recepcionados com suco de frutas típicas e vários mimos. Os ambientes são muito agradáveis e convidativos: jardins, um pátio com uma mangueira enorme (e um balanço!), cobertura com piscina, jacuzzi, saunas... A […] localização, dentro da cidade amuralhada, é ótima, pois não fica muito no burbuirinho, mas está perto de tudo. O quarto que fiquei com minha esposa é amplo, confortável e bem decorado. O serviço é fora de série. Todos os funcionários nos trataram muito bem, sempre com um sorrisão estampado no rosto. Só para ilustrar, houve um problema no ar-condicionado do quarto e nos trocaram para uma suíte maior! O café da manhã é honesto e os computadores e internet wi-fi são de graça... Enfim, se você está planejando uma viagem para Cartagena de las Indias, recomendo fortemente o Bantú, um ótimo custo x benefício em se tratando da cidade amuralhada. Les mer
