It was clean and the location was great for us three girls who where there for a shopping vacation.

Godt lydisolert rom(vi hadde rom mot baksiden), bra luftavkjøling dog noe støy fra en tilårskommen AC-enhet. Både subway- og bussstopp rett utenfor hotelldøren, og med litt god tid også gangavstand tll Penn Station (og Macy's!). Veldig greit hotell med fin beliggenhet. Subway direkte til Times square, Sentral Park mm direkte ved hotellet. Hyggelig gangtur til Empire State Bld, Broadway og 5-th av. Ingen luksus, men rent og stort rom:)

Dette var ikke noe å anbefale. Hotellet er bare to-stjerners, men allikevel bør man kunne forvente seg bedre service fra personellet. Frokosten var rett og slett guffen. AC'en på rommet bråkte og gardinene var ikke mulig å trekke for.

Et meget godt hotell i forhold til pris, ikke noe støy/bråk men svært sentralt i sjarmerende Chelsea. Gangavstand til Soho, Greenich village, hells kitchen, times square. Et utrolig utvalg i gode spiseplasser og barer rundt hotellet. Vi anbefaler El Quijote, spansk restaurant i nabohuset, som er det legendariske Chelsea Hotel. På El Quijote vanker det […] bla kunstnere, musikere og andre hyggelige mennesker. Vi storkoste oss!! ps mange ungdommer bodde på hotellet. Rommet var stort, rent, gode senger, utstyrt med toalettartikler, dockingstasjon, kjøleskap, tv, aircondition. Flinke folk i resepsjonen. Hotellet har også portier og oppbevarer baggasje. Les mer

Var litt skeptisk når vi bestilte da hotellet kun hadde to stjerner. Men ble positivt overasket. Enkelt og rimelig men renslig med helt grei standard. Frokosten er derimot ikke noe å stå opp for. Vi kjøpte frokost på nabo sjappene.

Bare så det er sagt...hotel i New York er dyrt, i påsken kanskje enda dyrere. Ønsker man bo sentralt, store rom, bra hotel, ja da må man betale litt mer. Dette var andre året på rad som vi valgte at feire påsken på Manhattan og ønsket et hotel lengre ned enn "upper" som sist. Kun 2 stjerner men flotte anmeldelser gjorde at vi valgte dette hotellet.Prisen- […] ja litt dyrere og vi hadde sikkert finne et "billigere" hotel, men vi blev glatt overraskede hva vi fikk for pengen. Flott beliggenhet med nærhet til alt via tunnelbanen som går rett utenfor døra. Gangavstand til Times Sq, Chelsea området og ikke så langt til Meatpacking district etc. Stort og bra rom med stort bad. Hyggelig personell. Rent, pent og hotellet fremstår som litt bedre enn de 2 stjerner som dem har. En liten detalj var at dem serverte kaffe/te og bagels i resepsjonen- gratis hver morgen. Liten start før turer i byen. We were really satisfied with this hotel, since it has a great location and close to interesting places. We used subway most of the time (red line 1,2,3) you can go to Time Square or downtown easily. Bedroom and bathroom were clean. Staff was friendly and they arrange taxis to go to the airport really early in the morning. Breakfast it's ok, just for […] bagel and coffee, there are other breakfast options closed by if you are really hungry for breakfast, there is a Wholefoods really close. No complaints from these two adults and two kids who stayed 4 nights. The room and surroundings were clean, every request was attended to, toiletries and towels were replaced everyday, breakfast was good and plentiful, front desk staff members were efficient and business-like (suits me fine, maybe some people prefer warm and fuzzy). Everyone was very nice and helpful. The only negative that we have is the beds are like sleeping on concrete. However, it is very conveniently located.

I love the Chelsea neighborhood and this hotel is right in it. No lobby seating but there were coffee shops and restaurants very close by so we just met at one of those. It was a pretty typical inner-city hotel with small rooms etc. I was on the 3rd floor with big windows overlooking two busy streets so there was a lot of street noise. Frequent traveler to NYC, first time here and not again. Picked for the location and the price, but overall felt shabby and extremely noisy on the street, even for NY. Felt like it had not been updated since the early '80s. Paid around $200 but have stayed in numerous other properties that felt much better for similar price.

Room furniture and decor needs some major updating. Polyester, quilted bedspreads are usually offered at much cheaper hotels. The beds were HARD and low. The windows did not have any drapes that closed, only cosmetic, allowing too much sun streaming into the room in the morning. The desk staff was not friendly and seemed annoyed when I shared with them […] that the drain in the shower was super slow and backs up into the tub. I also shared that the shower makes a loud whine sound unless it is turned all the way hot. I would definitely NOT stay here again. The only real plus was the location. Les mer

Hi stayed here for four nights in early March. Had three teens with me and we stayed in a room with two double beds. For the price, we didn't expect much and it was an OK hotel. The service at the front desk was not good at all (didn't respond to questions, had some attitude when we requested four towels for our room), but they did come through with […] the extra towels in the end. The maid service was EXCELLENT and, even though the surroundings are just OK, the room was very clean and they always remembered to leave us enough towels! This place is close to everything. It's definitely not a 5-star hotel, however, it's very clean, comfortable, and a great location. It's a perfect family hotel with pastries and bagels for breakfast and it's also quiet (for NYC). We are already planning our next trip to NYC and plan on staying in this hotel. Stay was good. The room was clean and price was reasonable for the location it was in. Was also happy that breakfast was provided although its simple pastries and coffee.

It was an all around perfect stay in the city. This 23rd and 7th Ave. hotel was the perfect location for our event. It was clean, friendly, and we definitely couldn't beat the price! We would come back and recomment in a heartbeat!

Really nice location close to major attractions by foot or subway; Times Square , Greenwich village , Chinatown , etc. not too far from La Guardia airport$40 max in traffic. They changed the keys to the door while we were out and did not inform us. Late at night it is not cool to be locked out of your room. Front deck didn't seem to care. Didn't keep the coffee pot full either. A lot of foreign speaking was going on in front of me as well.

This hotel is in the heart of manhattan. It is close to transportation and walking distance to many venues. The folks at the front desk were friendly and helpful. The common areas and room were clean and reasonably attractive. Much betger than 2-3star chain hotels that are in the same price range. I'd stay again. Great Value.

Excellent in terms of cleanliness and helpful, happy service from staff. However, the bed was so hard and the windows so old/thin we could hear EVERYTHING outside (even the subway train) it was like sleeping on the sidewalk. I hope they decide to fix these issues. My boyfriend and I stayed at the Chelsea Savoy for one night. Staff were friendly, allowing us an hour extension on check-out, the room was clean and a nice size, and the location is great! I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Chelsea Savoy is right next door to the Chelsea Hotel. It's a 10 minute walk from Penn Station and kiddie corner from a subway stop. There's a decent bar (Jake's) next door that's great for business lunches and evening drinks, and a Doughnut Factory with crazy good pastries just down the street. We were only in New York for 2 nights, arriving very early one morning - before official check in time. The hotel staff were great, letting us leave our bags and even offering us breakfast. The location was ideal for us - a 5 minute walk from the 23rd St Station on E Subway line (cheapest link to JFK - only a 40 minute ride away) and 2 other subway […] lines. A 15 minute walk up 7th Avenue and you're in the heart of Manhattan - Empire State, Madison Square Gardens. 20 minutes and you're in Times Square. The immediate vicinity of the hotel is great - close to the High Line and trendy spots like Chelsea Market. Our room was clean, well equipped - if we had to find fault it would be with the size of the bath towels - which were teeny, but such a minor point! Breakfast was OK, bagels and coffee in a rather dingy dining room but at least it was included. We'd stay here again. Les mer

We searched online for a deal and after hours of looking I finally stumbled upon this one. The rooms are nothing fancy but feel clean and serve the purpose.
