Paradise Isle Beach Resort - Malpe

Hi All, To begin with, i had to return back to Bangalore on 2nd Jan 2012, hence booked for just 1 day period (31 dec - 1 jan). 1. Firstly, the check in time is Noon to Noon. I had reached Udupi, 5 Kms from Malpe in morning 8 a.m from Bangalore after hectic journey, the road conditions were pathetic. I was completely exhausted, now i had to book another […] hotel in Udupi to take rest, as the hotel check-in was noon. And accordingly after check out, i had to take room till night 10 p.m on 1st Jan before we leave for bangalore. 2. I had booked Premium Sea facing cottage, for 3 people. Firstly, its not premium sea facing as you imagine, when i went and saw, they gave me room which was not sea facing but compound facing. You can clearly see the hotel compound and over that sea view. Me and my friends wanted al gala time, but what info is presented over the net and when you actually see there is huge difference. 3. It says, it had mini bar, when we wanted to stock scotch in the bar, it was locked. We called the house keeping and when they opened it was stinking like hell. We had to spend 3 hours out, just to breathe fresh air. 4. The room service is pathetic, no response for hours, the hotel staff is not courteous, we ordered just one dish in the afternoon, it took 2 hours to reach, it was cold. Again waste of money. 5. The toilets adjacent to swimming pool were under maintenance and were stinking. I have got captured certain pics, will actually present people on the “Sach “– “Truth”. 6. The dinner in the night, nothing was left by 12:20 p.m. everything was over, whatever fruits / etc, we had to manage. Overall, its not a 3 star hotel. No value for money and pathetic service, what was supposed to be the best New Year eve, its was worst party. I would recommend a complete No to this place Regards, Elicier Les mer

The hotel is located at a very good location right on the beach and in a very good surrounding area/environment and is easily accessible. The service is average and food is some times mediocore. Rooms are comfortable and clean. The road specially if you are driving from karwar to Udupi is horrible but guess this is not to do with the hotel.

* Had mailed the hotel guys about few questions before booking & without answering any of them, called me repeatedly just to force me to reserve a room. * Food Service & Accommodation was Indeed worth the money * Water sports provided are not economical * Indoor sports facilities are present just for the namesake.. No caretakers, No accessories, […] No absolute maintenance * Since the package for 1-day starts with a check-in time of 1PM & check-out time of 11AM, we do not really find enough time to enjoy all the facilities worth Les mer
