Helt greit, men WiFi burde vært med i romprisen. 3£ for 30 min er drøyt. Vi var kun på et leverandørbesøk tvers over gata så dette ble kun et kort glimt. Reading er vel ikke stedet for uteliv.

This is like no other Holiday Inn you will ever have been to!! Very high spec rooms, cleverly designed and comfortable beds with choice of pillows. Superb leisure facilities and AA Rosetted Restaurant. Can't go wrong at some of the rates on offer. Left my leather jacket behind. Overall the hotel is in a great condition with good facilities. Perfect for a business trip or overnight stay for a family of 3. However our experience of staying here was one of frustration. With two children aged 8yrs & 9yrs we were expected to make them share one 3ft wide sofa bed. Not what we wanted to hear after a very long journey. BEWARE that […] just because the hotel will allow you book a room for 4 people, they clearer can't accommodate the 4th person. What's more frustrating is that the hotel couldn't do anything to help us, claiming to be fully booked. Having stayed at several Holiday Inn Hotels around the World, this is the first hotel to insist two children share a single bed. Don't expect any 'customer service' either, I'm still waiting, days later, for the Manager to call me. The front desk insisted they couldn't help with our complaint. Les mer

Nice clean and smart hotel with very friendly staff. Shame there is not much in the neighbourhood so there is nowhere else to eat as the hotel food is expensive, not bad but not exceptional (actually the french toast was vile). Also the spare sofa bed for children is pretty uncomfortable, have been in cheaper hotels with better.

Parking is conveniently located underneath the hotel, I arrived on a Sunday evening and found it very quiet. I made for the gym and pool, which was one of the best I've been to in awhile. Well equipped and maintained - I would imagine the spa was just as good. Room service menu was also extensive, which made a change from recent stays, split into themes […] (British, Indian and Thai). I ordered a couple of Thai dishes and the quality was pretty high as was the service; prompt, polite and professional. The breakfast buffet was pretty average though. The room was of a good size, very comfortable and clean, the bathroom compact - but not uncomfortably so. No complaints there. There are also a few shops and newsagent located just outside the hotel on the same complex, and the nearest train station just a short walk away (so I was advised by reception). The standard and cleanliness are unparralelled. Lovely large bed and room, the bathroom was with bath and shower which pleased the girlfriend. Location is not "pretty", in the middle of a business park, but we didn't come for the view. Great location for town centre trips or heading off down the M4. And railway is only a 5 minute walk. Only negative […] is you have to pay for wifi, which I hate in this day and age. But that's just me and I suspect many wouldn't consider this an issue. Would heartily recommend. Les mer

We had a family room for us and our two babies. We brought our own travel cots. The room was big enough for us all to fit in comfortably, and was super clean. It looked like it had never been slept in previously! Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Underground car park with lift to reception was very useful in the rain. We really had a pleasant stay. We could not fault the hotel on a single thing. Everything was high quality and the service was great. The breakfast was superbly cooked and the staff was really friendly and helpful. Even the children could enjoy themselves.

A nice new hotel conveniently situated close to the M4 and Reading. It was quite quiet as I suspect this hotel is mainly used by business people during the week and we stayed on a Friday night. It was super clean and very easy to get to. You could use it as a stop off point on the way to Heathrow and pay a lot less than airport hotels.

quality, cleanliness, location 100%, but think the prices for bar food and drinks need to be looked at, as over the top for what you got. Restaurant main meals were expensive also.

A good way out from town but not a problem as long as one knows in advance. Taxi was £12 into town centre. Free underground car parking excellent but wi fi not as it was very expensive. Staff were very helpful and it was a pleasant experience. Would certainly stay there again and would recommend it.

Lovely clean room, good facilities including a mini fridge. Bathroom was clean fresh and bright and overall the hotel had the air of a new well run hotel.

Stayed quick one night before heading off to get married. Chose hotel because of location to the m4. Very pleased, immaculate inside, lovely room, comfy bed, nice bathroom power shower and bath!! Would definitely stay again and recommend.

The staff were all extremely friendly even at midnight when the car park barrier had broken down! The room was huge and had a lot of the features of somewhere far more expensive. It was all very well laid out with plenty of storage and such good blackout blinds that we were convinced it was still the middle of the night when we awoke at 9.30! We didn't […] go for breakfast, but friends staying the same night paid the extra £15/person (!!) and said it was pretty average. Its very convenient for the motorway and south side of Reading, however the views are just industrial or a glimmer of a field beyond the M4, nothing to write home about! Les mer

Could not fault the hotel, it was a very nice hotel. There was a train station right across the road which took about 30 minutes to get into the city. Not much around the hotel but we had a car so we could get around. Would stay here again and would recommend it to anyone.

Stayed here for one night. Everything is brand new and rooms were very well appointed and extremely clean. The staff were polite and helpful, and the rate, for a Saturday night, was very good value. Bar area is pleasant with a nice outside terrace. The hotel is in a slightly odd location, in the middle of an out-of-town office estate, but it was only […] a short walk to the station, so very convenient in that respect. The hotel is only about 2 years old and the facilities are excellent. We loved the large swimming pool!

We were very impressed with this hotel. Very new and comfortable. The only down side was once the air con came on it was obvious we were in a smoking room. The smell of cigarettes was very strong so we turned the air con off. Other than that, this would be a first choice for staying in this area. Really nice hotel, staff fine, food reasonable price and of good quality. Very happy to stay there again. One criticism, got there at 10.15am on way to Ascot races. Thought we'd see if room available, albeit early. Lady at reception said there was but on discussion with a male colleague wanted to charge me another £50 for early take up. Very new and modern only quibble was that complimentary newspaper was not prvided despite being promised and when we asked if we could have one they said they were available in the breakfast area but they were nowhere to be seen

Probably one of the nicer hotels I have stayed in, even got a late evening call to ask if everything was ok with my room, and if there was anything else they could do for me. It's not one of the cheapest but the amenites are good, with a spa and underground secure parking, it's easy to see what you pay for. Access to the lifts was via keycards which […] prevents non hotel residents getting access to all areas of the hotel, which made you feel safe and secure. The decor might not suit everyone being quite contemporary, but I found it calming and pleasant, and as a plus point they had all the freeview channels on the TV, rather than the poor quality terrestrial ones which is usually the case. The room had a fridge as well which was handy, hairdryer, iron, a desk and internet access for students and business users alike. The breakfast was first class, along with the staff. If I had to whine I'd say the bed was too small and soft for me, which was why I gave comfort 4 stars, but I still slept very well. Les mer

Great hotel. Staff was very freindly, especially loved speaking with Mieke in the lounge area. She was extremely friendly and recommended things for us to do in area. Recommend "The George", a local pub within walking distance for food and drink. Hotel was very in more of an industrial complex so not much to do in immediate area. Reception staff always friendly & courteous. Housekeeping not good. Going back to my room on the second night the glass of water I had by the bedside during the previous night was still where I had left it - with the water in it. The bathroom bin had been emptied, but the plastic bag with its contents had been left by the side of the sink. The next […] night a pair of blue rubber gloves had been left on the shelf above the coffee/tea making area. The next night the blue gloves were still on the shelf - in exactly the same place as the day before - and again my glass of water was on the bedside cabinet. I know it was Christmas but this is not the standard of a 4 star rated hotel. I did not need to use any restaurant facilities during my stay so cannot comment on these. Les mer

A very good holiday inn, with Swimming Pool, Steam room and sauna. We had a great stay. Things to check. Only 1 free parking space with each room which is disappointing and a rather pricy restaurant (given this is a holiday inn). Other than a bland cheesecake for desert I had no complaints. Very good overall standard.

The hotel is new - so everything is fresh and clean. I went for the most expensive room and was surprised to find the quality so high for a Holiday Inn chain hotel. I travel a lot on business and the facilities/quality/food/customer experience would cost double anywhere else. Excellent value for money, without cutting corners. Please make sure you visit […] the spa for a relaxing swim, sauna and steam room. The food was excellent and not the normal microwaved selection in tiny portions. I always like to use room service for breakfast and was really impressed by the prices and quantity of what arrived at my door. Reception staff said Mon-Wed is really busy but is nice and quiet from Thurs-weekends, which is when I stayed. The hotel is perfect for anyone needing access to M4, M3 by car and has a train station opposite for travel into London or Reading. Les mer

One of the better Holiday Inn Hotels, seemed quite new, free parking, good location just off the M4. Didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment on food or service but room was clean and modern.

The hotel is brand new, room was clean and of good quality. Check-in/check-out took a long time which is hopefully due to temporary teething problems. Location was very convenient for us, but won't be suitable for everyone, check the map before you book.

Lovely hotel with gym and pool which we enjoyed using. Situated on an industrial park so views not great but we were only staying for one night so were not bothered by this.
