Ayres Hotel & Spa Moreno Valley/Riverside - Riverside

Quite new hotel. Great rooms, wonderful staff, comfortable. Would definately stay there again!

Pleasant hotel. Clean, convenient... nice staff. The room was comfortable, relatively large, and exceptionally clean. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was fine -- a tad crowded on Saturday morning, but nice. The hotel is situated immediately behind Costco -- so if you feel like going on an outing, there is always the adventure and snacks at Costco […] to enjoy. The hotel has a small microwave, which allows for heating up food. No accessories come in the room should you decide to eat in rather than go out. (I am certain that they can be obtained from the breakfast area downstairs.) Generally a very clean, pleasant, and reliable hotel, and exceptionally conveniently located close to the freeway and next to many restaurants, mall stores, and --- well, COSTCO! :) Les mer

This is a beautiful hotel, quiet and very comfortable. It has all of the amenities that one could want including a refrigerator in the room. The beds were comfortable and the room was very clean. Most of all however, the service at the front desk was courteous and flawless. The room rate was exactly what was charged through Hotels.com. And to top […] it off after a very long day, the wonderful clerks went into the kitchen and got me a cup of milk to go with my chocolate cupcake, free of charge, no questions asked. This is a great hotel if you're visiting the Moreno Valley/Riverside area as we were to see our daughter who's attending UCR. Excellent accommodations and a outstanding complimentary breakfast each morning. What's not to like. My wife has been particular to the Ayres hotels and I would tend to agree. Moreno Valley isn't viewed by many as a destination. It's usually a place someone goes through, ends up, but not a suburban paradise, yet it's got tons of redeeming jewels about it. A place is what you make of it. I liked it. This hotel is amazing, at first I found it annoying, the spa-like music in the background in the lobby and elevators, etc. But […] after a while, as my mind got of my busy life, problems, and unnecessary and soon to be dropped off drama permanently, the music helped to melt my stress, I was greeted with it, it was kind and gentle on my mind, so I allowed the brain massage gladly. Lobby was immaculate. Managers were very helpful, water with Cucumbers in it, what a nice treat, my wife loved that. The Breakfast? Wow, go early, if it's quiet eating you want, but there was always lots of food, and the fresh fruit was amazing. Pool area, uncrowded, comfortable lounge pads made it a treat. We felt like we had it all to ourselves, well, because we did, it's heated by solar somehow. Jacuzzi, nice. Both were clean. Room, we had a deal, that's why we went, I had never been to Moreno Valley before, it seemed luxurious for that price seemed like a suite to me. NOT too different from Mandalay Bay hotel, The hotel, a lower scale, but nice. Although the neighborhoods vary here, there are great restaurants, Chicago Style Pizza wait a while and eat up big time, and Steer N'Stein to name two, Costco is right there if you need anything and Mimi's too. Staff were very attentive to our needs/wants. Place is solid, walk in, and leave your stress and worries outside the door. Didn't try the spa, maybe next time. My advice? When you check in, check out of the crazy and overly busy world we all tolerate, you won't regret it. Les mer

We were in a neighboring town for a dance on New Year's Eve. The hotel was beautiful and the staff were nice and helpful. The breakfast was very good. The only minor complaint that we had was that the pillows were too big for one of us. He had a stiff neck the next day.

Room was large, clean, and well equipped. The only negative was they did not tell us the thermostat in the room had a special setting. Someone had set it on 67 degrees and when we set it on 70 it would always revert back. This is very unusual for a hotel. It could be easily explained by desk clerk at check in

Lovely hotel. Surprised to find we were next door to Costco. Helpful and friendly staff. Very clean room and property. Very convenient.

This is one of the higher quality hotels in the area. My wife has always enjoyed the Ayres chain and the Moreno Valley/Riverside location continues their outstanding reputation for excellence. The location is close to UC-Riverside and various shopping malls and restaurants. Highly recommended.

I really enjoyed my stay. The room was comfortable and clean. The pool was warm enough and just big enough for laps or relaxing. I was disappointed with the message center. Their hours were inconvient, but the staff was trying to be very accommodating and helpful. I'd definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone!

We were on the way to San Jose, CA and stopped by this hotel. It was very nice. They have marble countertop, a refrigerator, and two nice size double queen beds. We traveled with the kids, so this is perfect for us to stay for the night before we head put next morning. We slept good.

Had the room not already been paid for we would have cancelled. We called our daughter & told them what they said when we checked in and she cancelled her stay for the following day. Instead she stayed at the Hampton in which directly across from them. How we wished we just cancelled and went there instead. The staff could not believe it and said they […] do not do that. The place was much more comftable. Ayres was hosting a cosmetic / jewlery convention in thier main lobby which made getting to breakfast and checking out very difficult because thier was no room to move around. I have stayed at Ayres hotels before and was completely satisfied again. I don't know where they get their people from but they can't do enough for you.

We were in town to attend a wedding and needed a place to stay in Moreno Valley close to the banquet facility. After having read the reviews on this and other hotels on the Hotels.com website, I knew that this was the place to stay. Personnel were all very courteous, rooms were comfortable, clean and roomy. This hotel is so nice real elegant not plain. Also they give a complimentary breakfast for free when you stay there. The breakfast is so good and you have a lot too choose. Also there is a bar in the hotel very convenient.

Service was very friendly. Nice clean, quiet and comfortable hotel. The kids enjoyed the pool, but there were never enough towels by the pool. But if we needed anything, housekeeping was always very prompt and friendly. We enjoyed our short weekend stay.

This is a lovely hotel. It has a great breakfast, clean, beautifully decorated rooms and large bathrooms. The staff was attentive and friendly. I highly recommend Ayres if you're in the Riverside area.

Hotel was comfortable and beautiful. Close to restaurants and shopping. As for a weekend getaway when you stay in the same city? Akward! It felt like a home away from home until you stepped outside. Pool view is the side of a Costco building. But that way the ONLY downfall!

Enjoyed our stay at the Ayres though only there for a quick overnight. Would stay here again. Convenient location and the hotel is in nice condition. Would even go so far to say that I think it's relatively new but don't know for sure.

This was the first time our family has stayed at The Ayres and we would never stay anywhere else when in Moreno Valley. The service was great, the staff was very friendly and the breakfast was very good and had a great selection. My kids (11 and 7) had a great time at tthe pool as well.

We were very pleased with our stay at the Ayres in Moreno Valley. The room was very nice. The refrigerator and microwave were definite pluses. The pool was nice and quiet. The cardio equipment in the workout room was great, but it would have been nice if there was better weight equipment. Following an 11 hour flight from Heathrow and the chaos that is LAX and the journey out, arriving at Ayres Hotel on the way to Palm Springs was exactly what we needed. The room was spacious with an extremely comfortable bed and spotless bathroom. Courtesy coffee and a good nights sleep restored us for golf the next day. I booked this hotel for a "girls night" the night before my now sister-in-law's wedding. We had a blast. We aren't a wild bunch or anything but we had a great time. the hotel was spacious. I had to bring my 5 month old with me and his pack and play fit nicely in one of the corners. I would definitely stay there again and recomment this to others. We found this hotel with high ratings and it did not disappoint. There is a Costco right next to the hotel, and a 24 hour supermarket. There are several restaurant selections in the area, although we didn't try them. Our room was very clean, large, and well appointed. The mini fridge and microwave was a nice touch. Easy to heat up milk for the little […] one. The free breakfast was simple but did the job. Just had wish they would extend the breakfast hour to 10am instead of 9am. We were on vacation and wanted to sleep in if possible, so that means either get up early or no breakfast. This is a new hotel we would highly recommend if you need a place to stay in Moreno Valley. Thought it would be nice but standard. It was more than standard, it was Very nice! Well decorated with a warm atmosphere and front desk people who seemed genuinely happy to be there serving you. Room was very clean and well decorated. Breakfast was fresh and tasty, and the host even offered to make me something special to my liking if she didn't have […] what I may want. Hotel manager greeted us every morning and pleasantly asked was everything ok. Location was perfect, near the mall and close to several restaurants yet nit on a major thoroughfare where it wold be noisy! I travel a lot, this hotel is a hidden jewel! Les mer

We spent two nights at this particular Ayres. We love the Ayres hotels anyway. This particular hotel was convenient to get to, and extremely quiet!! We were very comfortable and felt like we were the only guests even though it was a weekend! The full breakfast was fantastic! Hash browns, eggs with basil and tomato, sausages, waffles, pastries, bagels.............a […] WONDERFUL selection! It was one of the most relaxing hotel stays I have ever had. The temperature controls worked very well, and the beds were very comfortable. Great television and internet reception. Great parking and a view of the hills from our window! Thanks Ayres!!! Les mer

This hotel is clean and nice, but it's not what I would consider four and a half stars. Just stay at the Holiday Inn. It's cheaper and more comfortable anyway.
