I loved this hotel, They have amazing views from the rooms including a balcony with a great view of the pleasure pier. We loved the indoor pool and spa. The breakast was also amazing with home made do-it yourself waffle maker. We will definitly stay here again. The rooms were clean and so comfortable!

It was better than what I expected great location great service good pool was cold but good. Price was good also 59$ for a good location and room could of got a dirty motel for that price.Room was clean every morning . Cannot beat this place for the price I got. I will be back.

The hotel was beautiful, the parking lot could be bigger with more lighting, and the indoor pool was to cold to take my children to. Over all the place was awesome and staff was great!

Front desk was not helpful or friendly at check in or check out...desk clerk was the only one that was pleasant

It was a very nice Hotel, location was great. Very clean and the staff was helpful and friendly. Although, they didnt have enough towels for the pool and the pool water was very cold, other than that it was great! will definitely stay there next time!

My wife and I booked a room for two nights at the Country Inn and Suites in Galveston. We booked at this hotel specifically because we would need to do laundry at that point in our extended trip. The hotel is advertised via a booking service as: "The 60 air-conditioned guestrooms at Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Galveston Beach, TX include washers/dryers […] and complimentary newspapers". There are NO washer and dryers in the rooms - there is only a laundry room with two washers and dryers for their 60 guest rooms. Les mer

I thought this was a decent hotel, It was simple and very clean, and very accomodating for us. We just stayed one night before we left for our cruise, but the Hotel was good. They even allowed us to park our vehicle at the hotel for the duration of our trip, and had a shuttle that took us to and from the Port of Galveston.

This was one of the nicest hotels we've stayed in. Very clean and modern and room very comfortable. The air conditioner was a bit annoying as it was hard to regulate temperature and ran constantly. Has a washer and dryer which was a plus. I would definitely stay here again.

I have stayed here on a regular basis for business and this hotel takes pride in making sure the interior cleanliness is high priority. The front desk staff is very nice and appropriately polite with customers.

Hotel was great, staff was friendly. Great location. Only con is they hold of $50 on my card wasn't released until five days later. Otherwise, great experience at this hotel. Definitely recommend.

Overnight stay to attend Jamaican Festival. Hotel was nice. Breakfast good and also good location.

Loved it. Great room with balcony and view of water. Good hot breakfast. Close to Pleasure Pier. One little problem, the elevators smelled! I believe it is due to people using the pool and getting on the elevators with wet feet. Hard to air out an elevator but they need to do something about that.

Located on the seawall, Country Inn and Suites is about as convenient as you can get for the value. The rooms are always clean and fresh-smelling, Eva greets you with a smile at the front desk whether you check in during the day or late in the evening, a nice breakfast is offered (although we prefer biking to the Sunflower Bakery so we only indulge […] in the coffee at this hotel), we are allowed to keep our bikes in our room which is a GREAT convenience and this hotel is located very close to yummy restaurants, Murdoch's and the new Pleasure Pier. We stay here frequently and always enjoy our stay. The one thing that does need some attention is the inadequate parking, especially in the busy season or when there are major events happening (which is quite often on the island). Overall, we plan to continue our frequent stays at Country Inn and Suites. Les mer

We do not recommend this hotel at all. The service was not professional and plain out rude. The room had an odor and stains on the couch and floor. The pool chemical levels were so bad that just a couple minutes in the pool or jacuzzi, was enough to have your eyes burning extremely. While using the jacuzzi, you had to go to the front desk to have them […] come turn on the jets, due to the fact that the controls were locked in a case. Over all rating on this hotel from 1-10, our rate would be a 3. Les mer

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. Rooms were clean and spacious and right on the beach. I didn't like being charged a $50 deposit in case I damaged the room!

Really nice. Started out as a 2 night stay, added an extra night. We walked to the pier. Rated it a little low cause I tend to notice fit and finish details. There was still tape on the smoke detector from a repaint. Really nice shower. Little rust in the pool area, but kinda expected. Over all really nice for the price. Really close to the pier.

It was spring break so I realize they were very busy. However, when we first got there they were out of towels. The carpet in the room was old and stained. The rooms were kept neet and the hotel was clean. The workout equipment was old and no sanitizer to clean the equipment before or after workout. The hotel was close to Pleasure Pier which was great. […] The parking was not good at the hotel I had to park on the street at night. Overall the room was clean with a view of the beach but the next time I would choose an overall cleanier and newer place. Les mer

Hotel was close to beach and walking distance to Pleasure Pier, free Cruise Parking is a bonus, parking is limited though, front desk was friendly, carpets were very dirty and stained.

Great location not so great parking lot!! Not enough places to park we had to park down the street. Would have been nice to have house keeping available later in the day as well. We were in the room till 4 so our room didn't get clean linen or towls.

It was very nice. The room was lovely. The only thing I would change is the pool needs a change room/shower. Some of the men are funky.

We stayed here before a cruise, it was in walking distance to everything! Pleasure pier was very close and the lights from rides were pretty! The only downfall was the indoor pool was freezing! The ocean was right across the street and plenty of local bars and local food very close. The ship port was 5 minutes away. Perfect!

This is a nice hotel - clean and quite new. It is not in a very good part of town but it is close to the beach and Pleasure Pier. We got a deal that included parking for the week while we were on our cruise and paid a little extra for the shuttle to an from the cruise terminal. A bit further West and South there is an area which is much nicer with lots […] of hotels and that would probably be a better place to stay if prices are about the same. However, if Country Inn and Suites is offering a good deal, it is also a good choice. Les mer

We decided to spend one post-cruise day in Galveston, and wanted to be near the beach. Found a great rate for this hotel. We were pleasantly surprised to find that it is right across the street from the seawall, was very easy to find, and is within walking distance of the Pleasure Pier. Flat screen tv, nice work desk, lounge chair and ottoman, and a walkout porch. The lobby and breakfast area were likewise clean and modern. The morning breaksfast was a nice slection of scrambles eggs, self-cook waffles, juices, cerals, coffees, etc, etc.. The breakfast area was large and had plenty of tables. Next time we overnight in Galveston, it will definetly be back here at the Best Western. I would recommend this hotel anyone looking for a budget freindly, comfortable, clean hotel in Galveston.
