It was very nice the motel had a very clean look about it the room was clean and the minifridge and microwave was a nice touch. I would highly recommend staying there if your planning on visiting Kemah.

We were in town for the NHRA Races in Baytown and decided to stay in Kemah on Friday night for all of the night life and entertainment there is to do and see in Kemah, Texas. Room was newly updated and very clean and quiet. Pool and hot tub were sparkling clean too. Would recommend and stay there again.

The hotel was very nice and close to local attractions. Breakfast was totally carb driven, so if you are on a protein diet, you'll have to go elsewhere for breakfast.

The walks were so thin that we heard every cough, sneeze and snore all night long. My husband got no sleep at all. The toilets flushed so loudly that I woke up each time the neighboring guests used the restroom It completely ruined our stay.

The room smelled like smoke, there was items in the room that were broke that could have been simply fixed. Like the lamp shades were falling apart the shower curtain rod was falling down so the curtain only closed in the middle of the shower. The blanket had burn holes in it like someone smoked in the bed. Just a reminder this hotel was a non smoking […] hotel. Really don't think I will ever stay there again. Les mer

What a terrible experience. Rooms were not clean - found hair in the bathroom. The AC was not already on when we got to the room which is unacceptable during a hot Texas summer. The smell of chlorine was extremely strong on the first floor as soon as you walked in. We stayed on the 3rd floor which smelled like Indian food. I like Indian food a lot but […] don't want my hotel room to smell like it. The waffle machine at the continental breakfast didn't work. It just seemed like every corner that could be cut was being cut. Super 8 has lost my business for life due to my experience at this one hotel. Les mer

Great location, friendly staff and good price for the location. Some of the rooms see a little stuffy but it's clean. Have stayed there multiple times.

Overall for the price we paid, the hotel was great. The temperature of the pool and hot tub were not good. I think the temperature gauge must have been broken. The hot tub wasn't hot and the pool was too cold to swim in. I was looking forward to that perk, but it wasn't very relaxing. The breakfast wasn't worth eating, we ate somewhere else. The stay was nice though the continental breakfast was ok. The waffle maker did not work right and waffles were not done. Asked if they had more bread for toast. They didn't answer whether they had more or not and did not bring any. My daughter tried to get apple juice and all that came out was water. The motel was nice and clean. The hotel had recently undergone a remodel. The woman who checked us in was pleasant but was also bouncing a baby. All the walls are TURQUOISE green. There was trash and dirty diapers in the parking lot. There was an unpleasant odor in the elevator. We stayed on the third floor and choose the stair way the remainder of our stay. The tile floors were […] always wet from children coming from the pool and the floors were slippery. There was unknown substances between the top and bottom sheet. It appeared to be the crumbs from Fried Chicken. There is a note telling you not to rotate the TV but I was not able to see the TV from the chair in the room. I don't lay in bed to watch TV. I was very disappointed and will not stay in a Super 8 again. Les mer

This was prepaid, arrived around 11am to let them know we were there but knew it was too early for check in. The family spent the day at the Kemah park, returning to the motel around 9pm, very hot & tired. It took 20 minutes for check in. Got to the room and the air was off. It had been a 100 degree day and was more than that. We turn on the air but […] nothing cool seemed to be coming out. Called the desk and was told to wait 30 minutes and if it was not working then, that I should go find another motel, no offer to look into the problem or offer another room. I went down to the desk after a bit, deciding that I did not care for the attitude and told them so and that I intended to report it. I was told that I and my family had to leave or they would call the police. I told them to go right ahead. It took until 2am for the room to finally cool down, The police, of course, never arrived. This is, beyond a shadow of any doubt, the worst and most absurd motel experience I have ever had. Horrible. Simply, horrible. Les mer

First of all, we booked two rooms a week in advance and even spoke to a rep from Expedia requesting the rooms to be together. I called the day of check in to verify this and they acted like they knew nothing about it, blaming Expedia. Needless to say, the rooms were not together. Staff was very unapologetic about the ordeal and made no effort to try […] and find two rooms together. The kids wanted to swim so after checking in, we went down to the pool. The smell of chlorine was SO strong that my eyes stayed teared up the entire time we were in there. The "hot tub" had a 6 inch or so layer of brown foam swirling around and the sides were also covered in the same dark scummy mess. I refused to let my children get anywhere near it, even to put their feet in it. We stayed on the 3rd floor and every time we had to go between the rooms (again down the hall) or to or from the elevator, the smell of curry was so nauseating. The only thing good about this hotel was the price. I guess the saying "you get what you pay for" was very fitting for our visit. Les mer

The hotel was not very clean front desk had their baby up there ... When we went to check in we waited for ten minutes. For anyone to help us . I am very dissatisfied with the amount I paid for such a dump will not be staying here again

Have had worse hotels, had much better. Manager was very accomodating. Much room for improvement for the color chosen for the halls. Ice machine on 1st floor only even though looks like hook ups for ice machines on every floor. 1st floor rooms seemed to be for owners and family only. No luggage stand or dresser in room to put luggage on except on the […] floor which is not a good idea but, We only saw one roach. Good "unsecure" Wi-Fi. connection and , convenient stove, refridgerator, microwave and coffee pot in room . Slick tub for shower, recommend bring a bath mat. Satellite TV good picture. The hotel staff was not the most helpful people. We needed an extra pillow, they smiled & said we are out of pillows. My wife forgot her toothbrush & asked if they have a machine or do they have some things for hygiene, they guy laughed & said no. We don't have those things. When we got in our room at midnight, the room was extremely hot. The AC was […] turned off the temp outside has been 95/100 degrees all-day & it took 2 hrs. to cool the room. The pillows on the beds are paper-thin. U need 2/3 pillows for 1 per. to feel comfortable & the beds where like sleeping on wood. We had a kitchen-net in our room, No cooking utensils & booby-pins were all over the sink area? The towels for the bathroom were white with a yellow-tint. Not Clean to us. Breakfast was honeybunn & coffee. When they ran out of food or coffee, they did not fill or replace what was used. So, if you did not get there early enough, your out of luck! Saturday morning we went to the beach when we came back our hotel keys did not work, remember we are on the 3rd floor so, we had to go back down & get new keys.The attendants in the hotel, did not speak good English always speaking mumbling. WiFi was sluggish poor signal on the 3rd floor. Elevators were dirty & grimy, suppose to be a new hotel? Coffee, was not replenished when they came & cleaned the room & then they took all our sweet & low we got extra for our coffee. How dare we have extra sugar & cream for our coffee. We will hopefully not stay at this hotel again! Les mer

We had a wonderful stay at this Super 8. The hotel was convenient to the Kemah boardwalk and local shopping center. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We felt very welcome from the time we checked in until we checked out.

FIRST TIME VISITORS TO THE KEMAH BOARDWALK EXPERIENCE AND WE HAD A GREAT TIME. HOTEL CHECK-IN WAS SCHEDULED FOR 1P.M. BUT WE ARRIVED EARLY AND WERE ABLE TO CHECK IN BEFORE NOON (THANKS TO STAFF). I could not figure out what smelled in the rest room, everyday the smell was there, finely figured it ou.t smelled like a musty mop that was used over and over. overall every thing was clean.

The stay was fine for what we were looking for. I felt like the air in the hallways and pool area could have been cooler. The room we went to hadn't been cleaned yet but they quickly got us another one. Overall, the value was good for the price.

Our room was dirty. Hair on bathroom floor. Room smelled bad. No coffee cups in room by coffee maker. This hotel will not ne used by myself again!

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE. FIRSTLY AND MOST IMPORTANT, THE OWNERS OF THE HOTEL APPARENTLY LIVE THERE AS WELL AND WERE COOKING THEIR DINNER IN THE ROOM THEY LIVE IN. THE WHOLE HOTEL REAKED OF CUMIN! IT WAS HORRIBLE!!! OUR CLOTHES SMELLED LIKE CUMIN WHEN WE LEFT THE HOTEL. ALSO, WHEN WE ARRIVED IN OUR ROOM, IT STUNK LIKE CUMIN EVEN WORSE […] THAN IN THE LOBBY!WE HAD NO COFFEE CUPS FOR COFFEE IN OUR ROOM, THE SUGAR & CREAM PACKAGES HAD NO STIR STICKS IN THEM. THE TOWELS WERE VERY ROUGH. THERE WAS NO LUGGAGE HOLDER TO SET OUR SUITCASE ON. THE NEXT MORNING WE WENT DOWN TO BREAKFAST. DISCUSTING!!! THE ROOM WAS A MESS! THERE WERE A LOT OF PEOPLE AND KIDS EATING BREAKFAST AND THEY HAD MADE A HORRIBLE MESS BUT THE HOTEL STAFF DIDN'T EVEN BOTHER TO COME IN EVERY SO OFTEN TO CLEAN UP THE MESS. SOMEONE ALSO MADE COFFEE INCORRECTLY AND THE POT OVER FLOWED. THE OWNER/MGR WAS IN THERE CLEANING UP THE MESS ON THE FLOOR AND COUNTERS AND WHEN THEY WERE DONE, THEY DIDN'T EVEN BOTHER TO MAKE MORE OR CLEAN THE MESS ON THE FLOOR FROM SPILLED CEAREAL AND MILK ETC NOT GOING BACK!!!!!!! i am from houston, and when you stay at a super 8 or something similar to that, you get a nasty smelling, roach motel with glo in the dark naked women painted on the wall. the room smelled nice, and was very big.
