"Nice, New Hotel"
We had a very nice suite with a Japanese theme. It was very spacious and comfortable. There were no solid drapes to pull after the sun went down, which was our only complaint. There were only sheer white curtains to close. The bathroom was nice. The sink was in the bathroom, which we liked. The breakfast was substantial with waffles, fruit, toast, cereal, […] eggs, etc. The coffee was the only thing that wasn't that great. Overall, we were very satisfied. Les mer

"Nice hotel in the middle of nowhere"
Nice, newer hotel. Clean, comfortable, staff was helpful with recommending a place for dinner. Only negative was this hotel is outside of Altoona in the middle of nowhere. We had to back track to see the railroading sites. If it had merely been a stop along the way, it would have been perfect.

In for a Penn State football game, stayed both Friday and Saturday night. Excellent room, clean, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast and coffee was very good each morning. The hotel is just about a year old and looks brand new. I was surprised at just how nice the rooms are. Nicely appointed space, big fluffy comforters on the beds and a nice, somewhat separate, seating area. Only possible downside is that the hotel is about 6 miles down the interstate from Altoona proper. Front desk staff was super friendly.
Great room, very clean and comfortable for all six of us.

The bed was a little soft, but the motel is excellent. We had helpful suggestions on where to eat. The breakfast had excellent choices. Loved that there was "help yourself" coffee available. Also appreciated that there was a seating area in the room and a television with cable channels. A most wonderful experience...Highly recommended.

Very pleased with the hotel. Pillow-top beds were very comfortable, everything was clean and in working order. Breakfast was nicely presented and satisfying. We would stay here again.

Great hotel. Clean, comfortable,helpful staff. Right off the highway. Shopping and restaurants are a bit of a drive...you have to go back on the highway like 6 miles to the exit with food and shopping. The rooms are HUGE. Breakfast was well stocked and the lady was very helpful...she went above and beyond. Nice flat screen in our room, shower had great […] pressure. We had a connecting room and voices travelled between the connecting doors. If we were to stay again we would make sure our room was NOT a connector room. The pool was handicap accessible (it had a chair lift). I ranked the location low just because we had to drive too far for shopping and restaurants. It is a quite location right next to the highway with a nice view of the mountains...so if shopping and food are not high on your priority list then you'd love the location. Les mer
The hotel is excellent and the breakfast is very good. I love the strawberry waffle and they made it just for you,it's hot and tasty. The room is big for 3 adults and 2 teenagers. We got the 2 queen beds plus sofa bed and we like it very much because it had microwave and refrigerator in the room. We booked it again with the hotel this August.

very clean great deal for the price , only draw back is the bathroom light is on a sensor , cant turn on and off , it stays on too long especially at night , very distracting . No idea why they thought this was a good idea. Service was good and free breakfast is nice

This hotel's a year old and still appears brand new. Very friendly staff. Rooms are in excellent condition.

This hotel was exactly what I was looking for: near Altoona but not exactly in the city itself, right off of the interstate, clean, comfortable beds, and a good breakfast included. "wish we stayed longer"
new hotel, looked great! we were only in town for one night with an early checkout. clean rooms, great staff. breakfast smelled pretty good, but I was in a hurry. Spacious room!

This is a new hotel very nice. It's a wonderful place to stay. I would reccomend it to anyone and I would stay there again
The hotel was extremely nice and clean. Very pleased with the location as the town is on the small side. A little pricey although understandable since there aren't many hotels to choose from. Only complaint I have is we stayed two nights and the second night there weren't new towels placed in the room as there usually are with hotel rooms.
