Negatives: 1) Cost over $150 by taxi and water taxi to get to the hotel (2 couoples with luggage) 2) NO elevator to our third level room ("second floor" in Venice) and only one slender teenage woman to help us lug four large suitcases. 3) No one at the desk or switchboard much of the evening, so never could get on internet or turn on the TV. BUT! 1) […] Beautiful small clean rooms in an ideal location, a few minutes from St. Mark's and the Rialto Bridge. 2) Lovely family hotel, eager to help when possible. 3) Reasonably priced. Les mer

This cute little place was amazing! The owner was very hospitable and accommodating. You could just tell she loves her city and gave us very useful tips when we arrived. Now Venice is basically a maze (beautiful maze) but this hotel was very easy to find because it is right in Campo San Stefano and not in some random hard to find alley-like street. […] It's also more like a bed & breakfast and the rooms are just so Italian authentic!...you really feel like you've stepped into another world. Oh, and the view from our room was amazing looking right into the campo great for people watching and just listening to the sounds of Venice. Location is very convenient as its in the middle of San Marco Square and the Rialto Bridge. it is also close by to a vaporetto (water bus) stop. We barely used a map, just remembered landmarks and we were always able to find our way back to the hotel somehow. If you need a place to stay in Venice whether it be for one night or a whole week please stay here! You won't regret it. Les mer

Location great, Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast could be improved on. Served only between 8.30 and 9.30 and then often not until 9...for a croissant and tea or coffee!!

We were happily surprised at all aspects of this hotel. The location was superb, the lady who runs this hotel is amazing, friendly, knowledgable and helpful. The rooms are spotless and despite being in the middle of a piazza, it was very quiet.

Great room - 2 joined together. Showers looked good, but didn't work too well. No airvents nor exhaust fans in toilet/shower.

We loved out stay at the Ca' Morosini! It was a perfect location in the San Marco area. Our room overlooked the the beautiful Square Campiello Morosini. It was in easy reach of the Rialto Bridge and the Piazza San Marco. Room was cosy and clean. Owner and staff were exceptionally friendly. This was a very old but lovely hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was situated very close to all major sights. The breakfast had fresh fruit and pastries. Would definitely stay here again if in Venice.

Stayed two nights in mid-June 2012 with a total of 3 rooms reserved for 3 couples. Very nice place in Venice with central location to all points within Venice. Easy walk to Piazza San Marco and everywhere else in Venice. Rafaela and her father (managers) were very helpful in providing information about Venice. Staff was very accommodating. Rooms were […] clean and nice and made up daily. Breakfast was continental - as are most in Italy. To contradict some of the negative comments...our reservations clearly indicated that the hotel staff left by early afternoon and that if you were arriving after that timeframe, you needed to call or email for arrangements. Rafaela provided clear directions from the train station including the water taxi and stop to the hotel along with the access code. True, there is no elevator but again that was identified before hand. Air conditioning while weak by U.S. standards did work and cooled down the room. Rafaela and staff were more than willing to accomadate us leaving our bags at the hotel for a late afternoon departure time (provided us with key/code and access to a bathroom). All 3 couples agreed that we would stay there again. Les mer

We went to Venice on 1st July 2012 and booked this hotel for staying 1 night. The temperature was around 30 degree centigrade. The air conditioning in the room was working like a fan and it was not cooling the room. When we told this to the hotel staff, they offered a table fan but it was not sufficient for two people in the room. The windows are closed […] and so it was very suffocating inside the room. When we complained about this in the next morning, the staff said, if the lights in the room is on, the air-conditioning will not work. When we said all the lights were switched off for whole of the night when we tried to sleep, they could not give us any explanation and started misbehaving very rudely. Also, we had booked two double bed en-suite rooms for two couples. They had arranged for two rooms with a single toilet facility for 4 people. It was very inconvenient sharing a single toilet among 4 people while we had paid for two double bed en-suite rooms. The hotel reception is open from 8 am to 2 pm. So if you have booked your return flight in the night, you have to take your luggage by 1 pm. Our flight was at 9.40 pm from Marco polo airport. There is no facility in the hotel to keep your luggage after 1 pm. We had heavy luggage with us and we had to roam around the city by water boat or Gondola with those luggage. The hotel is actually is in the heart of the city. But I would not recommend this hotel if you are coming in summer time or your return flight is in the night. Les mer

Loved this place. We are a family of four and it fit us perfectly. The kids loved the shower! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast and great location to all the sites. Situated about half way from San Marco and Rialto Bridge. An easy walk from the water taxi.

Great location, friendly owners but really small room (tiny.... No room to open our 2 carry ons at the same time). We had to call when we got there around 6pm because the door was locked. When we called they gave us a code to open. Good we paid for roaming. I would recommend it if you only want to go there to sleep because you woulnd't want to spend […] more time in there. Les mer

Loved this hotel! Great location in a large square, we had a deluxe room overlooking it all. Friendly staff, clean, comfortable, easy walk to both St Mark's Square and the Rialto Bridge. Highly recommended!

Ca' Morosini is located directly opposite the front door of the stunning church "Santo Stefano". The hotel is on the corner of a beautiful, typical Venetian square with several restaurants and a concert hall where we went to see a 90 minute Vivaldi concerto at the same price as a reasonable gig back home. All within 60 seconds walk of the front door […] ! The staff at Ca' Morosini were very helpful and very friendly. We couldn't have asked for more. Our room was stunning, as was the view, overlooking the church and the square below. The room we were in made us feel like we were Venetian royalty ! The walls are all covered with padded fabric, the floors are stunning to look at. If you can afford to be in Venice (the eating and drinking is pretty expensive for this middle class tourist) then you should be able to afford a stay at Ca' Morosini - it's totally worth it. I'd much rather stay here in this hotel with only 5 rooms and a personal service than one of the many larger 5* hotels with dozens of rooms. Les mer

The hotel staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. They even offered to upgrade our rooms once we were there. The room was very comfortable, the bathrooms were very clean, and the breakfast was wonderful. We felt safe and at home there.

Rafaella runs a very well organised setup. She was very helpful with suggestions for day trips and friendly towards my young daughter. Not cheap, but nowhere is in Venice. Free internet worked well.

Vistelsen var bra och hotellet var mycket charmigt, liksom ägarinnan och hennes familj. Personalen var hjälpsam och trevlig. Det var väldigt kallt i Venedig när vi var där och det enda som var mindre bra var att rummet antingen var lite för kallt eller lite för varmt.

Ett mkt bra hotell som ligger väldigt bra till. En otroligt trevlig personal som hjälpte till på ok engelska. Fick bra turisttips utanför centrum. Hit återkommer jag nästa gång jag åker till Venedig! Bara boka!

Nous y avons séjourné deux nuits La gérante est extremement agréable et serviable et donne de bons conseils de visite, de restos etc ; elle parle tres bien français Nous avons eu une chambre dès notre arrivée le matin et avons pu laissé nos bagages toute la journée du départ, avec mise à dispo gracieuse d un cabinet de toilette

Calme et bien situé sur le Campo San Stefano, cet hotel, au charme désuet a le grand avantage d'être proche des lieux à visiter de Venise et des vaporettos. Quelques regrets : le petit déjeuner pourrait être mieux, les rangements dans la chambre et la salle de bain sont légers. Seule difficulté : à l'arrivée (18 H) porte close et obligation d'appeler un numéro indiqué pour obtenir le code […] d'accès à l'hôtel et les consignes d'accès à la chambre. Das Hotel punktet mit der Top-Lage am Campo Santo Stefano, ein belebter Platz mit Cafes und Restaurants direkt vor der Tür des Hotels. Markusplatz und Rialto-Brücke sind jeweils in ca. 10 Min. zu Fuß erreichbar. Die nächste Vaporetto-Stations liegt ca. 5 Min. Fußmarsch entfernt (Accademia). Das Hotel ist somit der ideale Ausgangspunkt, um Venedig nach […] Herzenslust zu erkunden. Das Ambiente des Hotels ist etwas verstaubt, aber durchaus liebenswert. Da und Dort zeigen sich schon arge Abnützungserscheinungen und eine gründliche Renoivierung würde das Hotel gut gebrauchen können. Das Hotel wird von einer Österreicherin geführt, die jederzeit gerne mit guten Ratschlägen zur Seite steht. Das Frühstück ist bescheiden, aber gut und ausreichend. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist für Venediger Verhältnisse recht gut und daher ist das Hotel auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen. Les mer
