Tilbringte et par dager her i slutten av desember. Billig og helt ok hotell. Ligger litt langt unna de mest sentrale stedene i hollywood, men er fortsatt mulig å komme seg rundt til fots. Personalet er hyggelige og hjelpsomme, men rydding og vasking av rom kunne vært bedre. Et meget greit hotell for en billig penge.

Hotellet var veldig hyggelig med stor parkeringsplass. Beliggenheten gjorde det lett å komme overalt i LA og det er i tillegg gangavstand til flere filmstudioer hvor de tilbyr omvisning. I bygningen ligger en kjempekoselig kafé hvor vi fikk oss veldig god frokost. Anbefales!

This hotel was disgusting! We were staying for 4 days, but checked out the next day and found a better hotel because this was discusting. The room was tidy, but it was hair in the bed, and the bathroom seemed filthy. The windows was so old that it sounded like it was open, we could barely sleep with all the noise. The bed wasn't comfortable but the room was big and we had a walk in closet. Hasn't been renewed to much but for the price it was good. It was quite (we had a back room).

It served its purpose, but the smell is overwhelming!! My Friend n i had to go to buy air freshner n fabreeze still that only help very little.. The rug n curtains are old so allergies definitely kicked in..

lobby and outside decor are really nice! but the rooms themselves are average at best.

the room was clean and comfortable. i would,however,make a few suggestions that would make a guest's stay more comfortable. there was not a luggage stand in the room. i put my suitcase on top of the desk. it was ok for one person, but would be very inconvenient for more. also, there is no ice machine in the hotel at all. the fridge in the room helped, […] but it would be nice to have ice with a drink. these would be nice conveniences to have, but my stay was fine Les mer

The Historic Hollywood Hotel presents a great atmosphere of old-time star photos lining the walls and an overall welcoming feeling. The rooms are just basic. Overall Is A Good experiences, lift is working :). The only 2 things i can find issue with is the placing of the toilet bowl in my room, no place to place my leg. And the noise from left, right and up. noise From the car park when some crown is back in the middle of the night n talk at the car park. then is those noise from neighbor walking pass our […] room. Finally the one stay above up keep pulling something and walk with very heavy feet. Really not meant for the light sleeper. Les mer

The hotel was clean and nice. The interior is as it would be back in 50s. It's basic as for 50s but comfortable and clean. We've had room on the european first floor (one above the ground floor) overlooking street. As one can expect it might get noisy on such street and taking into account that windows are in the old style (not much accoustic issolation) […] it gets noisy in the room to. The street is not busy during night hours so it did not cause any sleep problems (I'm very sensitive to it as live normally in very quiet area). In the morning we've had surprise as we've noticed that above the street and other buildings we've spotted the Hollywood sign! That was great. There was not breakfast at the hotel however they do recommend restaurant next door. There was plenty of paring spaces at least at the time we've arrived. Neighborhood is rated at 3, as you'll have to drive everywhere and it's not at all near any touristic attractions. Les mer

The Hollywood Historic exudes "the old Hollywood" groove. With a room on the street side you get an unfettered view of the Hollywood sign and Griffith Park Observatory. The room is spartan in its amenities but very clean and comfortable. I will be back.

We stayed at this hotel for the Hollywood Half Marathon and the location was just a few minutes from the start line. The hotel staff was very nice and the hotel was clean. It is an older hotel with a great deal of Hollywood charm. Our only dislike was the bed. The mattress was basic and we are used to a pillow top. The only thing good about this hotel was the front desk manager and parking. Pillows hard as rocks, a platform bed that squeaked every time you moved. Curtains that did nothing to keep out the parking lot lights. I have stayed at motel 6's that were more comfortable.

I stayed for 2 nights; Michael at the Front Desk was absolutely the best; He accommodated my granddaughter and I with everything we needed. 5*

We stayed here while seeing a show at a club nearby. We spent little time in our room, which was comfortable enough but nothing fancy. We did appreciate the ample free parking and the front desk person who checked us in was really nice.

Amazed To find that there was no Room telephone To contact Front desk and outside. There is only one employee AT the Front desk,if He is away upstairs,any body can enter and exit without notice ,this was a security issue also

It's cute! It's better than the other hotel I stayed it that had "Historic" in its name. The hotel is clean and in an amazing location close to funky clothing shops on Melrose and delicious food (Frida's Tacos on Melrose!) As well, about 10 minutes away from the Grove, Farmer's market and Andre's Italian restaurant! I could see the Hollywood sign and […] the Griffith observatory from my hotel window. Les mer

I just spent 5 days in this hotel and was pleased. The location is great, parking is ample and the price was right. The hotel for SURE needs a renovation. The corner rooms are bigger but have LOTS of street noise...I'm from the city...didn't bother me one bit. If you want quiet....ask for a room on the back side.

The hotel is a perfect place to meet up for a romantic getaway, near a lot of what the city has to offer. The staff were friendly and accommodating, offering a quiet upper floor room facing the parking lot rather than the noisy street. Nice place, if you don't mind lots of noise from the road outside and the rooms are a bit worn down. Neighbourhood's so and so at night if you arrive by metro and bus. For a night or two it's ok. Stayed here at 2 different occasions, might be back for a third...

We had a great stay at the Hollywood Historic Hotel. Even though there is quite a bit of traffic outside, with the windows shut and the air conditioner on, we could ´t hear any of the noise. It was quiet, clean, comfortable. The front desk staff were courteous and nice. We loved the price and the amenities: free wireless internet, free parking. The Historic hotel was a far better than i expected stay nice,comfortable and clean and only 2 blocks from Paramount studios .Bus outside the door and close to eateries.Staff were proffestional and helpfull...oh....a couple of things worth a mention.....the room that i had ,had a mini fridge and the free internet helped me keep in touch with the family […] back home Les mer

The HHH is suitably located within walking distance of Hollywood Boulevard and many famous sites. It is an old world hotel that has been capably modernized and which is very comfortable. While the hotel does not offer all the amenities of more modern facilities, it is clean, comfortable, safe and charming.

I stayed here many times, it's good for a simple basic place to stay. Can't beat the price . Internet works half the time, and front desk can be unfriendly. But it's over all it's good.

Neighborhood is run down and a bit scary, but centrally located and close to many things. Parking lot is secure, outside of the hotel is a bit run down, lobby is very old Hollywood style, attendants are helpful and nice, rooms are tiny and very outdated, but overall for the price, not too bad. This hotel is exactly as it's named - Historical, if you're looking for a bit of old world Hollywood, it's prabably as close as you'll get. Nothing modern here, no phone in the room. It is pretty minimal on modern conveniences. I read some reviews prior to my stay and I have to say some of those negative comments are unwarranted. Charming old work style hotel. Staff was great, and the room was just fine. If you are looking for Fancey modern digs, this isn't your place. Many of the Elements seem to be original, and that is what makes this place cool. for the price, can't beat it. free parking, right by Paramount Studios, about a 1/2 hour walk to Hollywood Blvd. not the most modern (built in the 20's), but they do a good job of keeping it clean and fixed. The coffie shop next door is right on.

The hotel is situated next to busy streets and there is a lot of street noise, especially from Melrose side of the rooms. Other than that, it is a clean comfortable room.

Wasn't the greatest hotel, but chose it because it was close to where I needed to be the next day. Rooms were adequate, but the service was amazing. Good enough that I would stay there again. Plus parking was free and easy!

The room was small, it had a refrigerator which was nice.It was very clean, the bathtub needs to be resurfaced. It was okay for one night.

Good location, in walking distance from Walk of fame, I was quite satisfied with services. Neighborhood OK. Definitely I recommended it in case of restricted budget
