JW Marriott Marquis Miami - Miami

This hotel is amazing. I previously stayed at the Conrad Hilton in Brickell and there is no comparison. My room at the Marquis was bigger, had better views, felt newer, and had great features such as a 60 inch plasma, a tv built into the bathroom mirror, a computer with free internet and an executive desk. The hotel, amenities and staff were fabulous. Downtown Miami is not as intoxicating as other areas in Miami, and the neighborhood shuts down at night. There are a lot of high quality cultural and sports entertainment in the area.

everything was perfect. the room was awesome, great views, great beds, great everything. the room service was reasonably priced, the service was nice, beds were comfortable. i dont' think i'm gonna stay anywhere else in miami any more.

High end hotel, well equipped but really lacking in character. Staff very friendly, helpful and efficient. Didn't use the restaurants, breakfast looked pretty bog standard for what you are paying, seen better in hotels costing third of the price. Wouldn't stay again.

I booked this hotel thinking that I was booking a different one, not even knowing that this hotel existed. The price was reasonable. I walked in coming straight from work, pants covered in mud. and wet and muddy work boots, hair mess from the wind, and dirt on my face. The staff acted as if there was nothing amiss Everyone from the valets, to the desk […] person, and the porter, were very nice, and accommodating. The room was large and very comfortable. I was amazed to find a tv in the mirror in the bathroom. The restaurant staff was just as wonderful, and the food amazing. I hope to return soon. Les mer

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. The employees were nice and helpful as soon as we stepped out of our car. The rooms are clean and bed is very comfortable. We would stay again.

Swimmingpool area is not good, not bad. No balconies in rooms. Situation is perfect. Downtown, Wallgreens, BaySide is near.

My experience at the JW Marriott was excellent. Spent two nights there this past week and I was really happy with the hotel. The room was great, nice and spacious, the staff were very helpful and friendly and the food, pool and gym were all excellent. My one disappointment was with location but what can you do. This hotel is excellent for business […] travellers which is who I think is their target market anyway. Coming from out of town, there weren't any shops or city attractions nearby. There were awesome restaurants though. We were recommended by the Concierge to eat at Azul at the Mandarin Oriental in Brickell Key and it was a really great meal. I recommend this hotel for anyone really. You will happy staying a night or two here. Les mer

I booked a King with a bay view but when I arrived at the hotel, I was told they have no bay views (not that they were booked, but they didn't have any due to other buildings.) I was oferred a partial bay view with two queen beds which I declinded because I rather have the king bed. Also, the description boasted a 50inch tv but they did not have any […] pay-per-view movies! Another thing, the mini-bar did not close properly. Finally, I really did not like the pillows which were very large and square like couch pillows (very uncomfortable). I should have been more detailed in my research but I will be detailed in not returning. FYI: Having lots of traffic arround the hotel is not a plus. Les mer

The room was immaculate; had a room on the 35th floor with a view of the bay, which was unbelievable. The room was huge, and with all the amenities of a condominium. In addition was in a great location; walking distance to Bayside, and the heart of downtown Miami.

A very pleasant experience. The staff took extra stems to insure that we were comfortable and well taken care of during a time when nearly every hotel room in Miami was booked. It is an accomplishment to do well when systems are stressed.

Booked a really nice room while in town for business. Ate at the hotel restaurant, which was excellent... a must try! Our corner room on the 32nd floor was outstanding. I only wish I would have had more time to spend in it! The bed was extremely comfortable, and the view, nothing short of spectacular!
