Generally very pleasant. Hotel decor is very good, and the staff are very obliging. Rooms and lobby were kept clean. Due to Metro rail construction, tre traffic was heavy and extremely inconvenient to get in and out of the hotel.

Its a new hotel with an efficient and helpful staff. The food is good and the high lounge is relaxing.
It was an oasis after a very tiring travel. The spa was brilliant. We enjoyed breakfast and inroom service. And coffee shop. Exactly what we needed. Rain tree taxi driver went over and above call of duty to help us on our journey.

If you are looking for true 5 star service, this is the place to stay. The hotel is only 1-1.5 years old and it shows. The place is immaculate. The lobby is a work of art. The restaurants represent true fine dining. The staff is incredibly helpful. The laundry service is efficient and you'll never be able to fold your clothes the way they do! The travel […] desk is fabulous for arranging transportation, particularly one Mr. Balaji. The rooms are very modern and clean, as are the bathrooms. Raintree uses Duravit bathroom fixtures, has a fantastic shower, and a modern, wall-mounted toilet. The housekeeping staff does an amazing job of cleaning the rooms. I have stayed in many hotels throughout the world and this one really made an impression on me. You would be hard-pressed to find this level of quality anywhere. Absolutely fabulous! Les mer
"Noisy room"
The hotel itself was fine and the restaurants all served excellent food. However, the rooms on the first floor (106, 107) suffer from noise. The function room is just below and out of the 3 nights there were functions on 2 nights which went on with loud music until 11am. I phoned reception 4 times to ask them to turn the music down and was promised […] each time that something would be done, but to no avail. As I had to get up at 4.30 for a 6.50 flight I did not sleep well for 2 nights. Les mer
"confortable Business hotel"
nice Rooma, good beds, nice shower etc etc.. small tv. good buffet and food is excellent. be sure not to have a room on the right side or the back (standing in front of the reception) because on the right backside there is a wedding hall and at 3 o'clock in the morning it was as loud as in a club.

Great hotel, good service from the staff, good food . Essentially no complaints about the hotel itself once you are lucky enough to get checked in. The problem is, and it is a big problem....is with reservation system. If you make a reservation in person or by telephone they simply are unable to find your reservation. The only reliable way to make a […] reservation is on the net through a travel agent such as Hotels.com or expedia. I stayed here twice and both times had multiple issues with my booking. The way I solved the problem was to go downstairs to their own business center and re make the reservation online!. One more thing......too many people saying"vanakkam" to you which really gets annoying after while. Les mer

"Great new hotel"
Great eco hotel, loctaed about 8 kms from the old Egmore centre of Chennai The only real issue is the location, which is good in part as we had an early flight, and is nearer the airport, but it is on a very busy main rad, which on bad morning meant we coould barely leave the hotel for traffic and bikes on the broken pavements !

During our 12-hour stay, the personnel at In-room Dining, House-keeping, Bell-Desk & the Travel Desk (specifically the rental car driver) were very courteous and helpful.

Cet hotel est un oasis au milieu du chaos de Chennai. Très propre, personnel serviable, nourriture excelente. I'll y a le bruit du traffic de la route importante sir laquelle est l'hotel. Be conseille toujours les boulles quiès.
