Islander Bayside - Islamorada

Everything was wonderful but rained 4 solid days

Pricey but worth the money. Clean with modern updates.

For a new (about a year old) condo unit there was a lot wrong, the dishwasher would fall out of the cabinet, the freezer would not open far enough to put things in and out, 2 drawers would not open at all. The pool was not heated and there was no shade by the pool (weather was in 80's while we were there in Feb.) Also located very close to the road […] so it was quite noisy from heavy traffic on Rt 1.A little overpriced for what we got. No amenities there had to go 1 mile down the road at sister hotel for exercise room, and heated pool. It was a pretty spot right on the Bayside and had boat slips for someone with their own boat who liked to fish. Les mer

We really liked this accommodation. We traveled with another couple so the two bedroom, full kitchen was awesome. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable and the decor was very nicely done. The only issue we had was the pool was freezing cold so we couldn't use it.

We asked for a late check-in at around 11.00 p.m. and when we arrived there was no-one around and no indication of which townhouse we were in. Luckily, the Green Turtle was open and we enquired there. 20 minutes later we were ensconced and delighted with our accommodations. the next morning we received a huge and charming apology from Kelly and two […] hours later a new sign went up on the office door so future guests (and I hope we will be some of them) will never have that problem. We were only there for 4 nights but if you stay longer you may want to be aware that there is no maid-service. Les mer

We stayed at the Islander Bayside for 3 nights at the end of a 10-day romantic getaway to the Keys. When we arrived, the guest agent was very friendly and assured that we were looked after. We checked into our condo and were pleasantly surprised at the accomodations. Very nice layout with a great kitchen, sitting room, two large bedrooms, large closets, […] great shower and a balcony with an incredible view of the water. Honestly, the only small complaint was the condition of the area rug in the living room, it was dingy and stained - but that is the only complaint!! It appeared that there was only one other couple staying in the entire resort but it didn't bother us as we felt safe and comfortable at all times. This resort is within walking distance to great restaurants and local shopping - we did go to the Islander for one beach day and it was fantastic, great restaurant there too! All in all, it was a great place to stay for the price, we didn't use the pool or the small beach area but all looked clean and upkept well. There isn't any housekeeping but that didn't bother us as there were laundry facilites right in the condo and the front desk has the basics - coffee, etc if you run out. If you stay, make sure to walk across the street for an unforgettable supper at the Green Turtle - best meal of the trip!!! Les mer

The Islander Bayside is a great place to stay. Only complaint is there is no maid service. Very clean and convenient to everything. Would recommend to others.

We recently stayed at the Islander Bayside to attend a wedding. We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the room and the property. Our only complaints were that housekeeping did not come in to remove garbage or clean the rooms while we were there, and we did not have telephone service in our room. We reported the lack of phone service twice during […] the weekend, but unfortunately nothing was ever done nor did anyone even come by the room to check the problem or respond to our complaints. We spent 3 very relaxing days at the Islander Bayside. The houses are very new, super clean and very quiet. I loved having a washing maschine. The pool is very quiet too and great for relaxing hours, but you can also use the facilities at the Islander Resort, that's about 1 mile north of the Baysider, where are 2 pools, a heated whirlpool and a very […] nice restaurant with good food. A very spacious townhouse-like rental. Clean and comfortable and close to great restaurants. Friendly staff as well.

The Islander Bayside was absolutely beautiful and perfect for us. Very spacious town homes, all new with a marina on site. So convenient and relaxing. Loved it and will definatly return as it was so hard to leave the beauty of this place.

Overall we were very pleased with the townhouse unit. However, contrary to your profile, housekeeping services were not provided. I recommended to the desk clerk that the unit should at least come with a broom and dust pan. The walk ways were all shell and the floor was in need of a sweep after the first day.

There is a pool and a small marina behind the townhomes. Everything looked clean and brand new. A coffee pot, blender, dishes, and pots and pans are provided for your convenience. Would definitely stay here again.

Would have been perfect except the washing machine didn't work but they were fast to repair it. Great place like being at home but on an island

Great place. Beautiful pool with great view of the bay.

this is a new townhouse style property I liked the decor and paint, and kitchen products were top of line. There is a part time reception, a gas grill on site, and tho pool area is small and unheated, it is beautifully placed surrounded by bay waters with awesome view. The hotel is brand new so everything is very clean and in working order. Facilities are great ie laundrys, full kitchen etc in each house. The only negative thing is the internet access which is non -existent in the houses and can only be accessed out on the balcony. Very quiet resort, ideal for exploring the upper and middle Keys, if you dont need […] internet access much while you are there. Les mer

Brand new property on the bay which was noce although-Was notified when checking out that because we had booked our reservation through Hotels.com we were not paying regular price and were not treated the same as someone not using this service. We had needed a later check-out due to diving in the area that was running late and the property was not very […] accomodating because of this. Les mer

Uns hat unser 'Zimmer' im Islander Bayside sehr gut gefallen. Wir hatten ein Wohnzimmer mit einer riesigen und sehr gut ausgestatteten Küche, 2 grosse Schlafzimmer mit begehbaren Kleiderschränken und jeweils mit Flatscreen an den Wänden. Zum grossen Bad kam extra noch ein Gäste-WC an der Küche dazu. Die Sauberkeit war tip-top. Leider gibt es aber zwischendurch […] keinen Zimmerservice (keine Handtuchwechsel, Bettwäsche etc.). Ich denke bis 3 oder 4 Tage ist das okay, danach hätte ich mir doch frische Handtücher gewünscht. Der Pool ist zwar relativ klein, aber sehr schön angelegt, der Zustand der Anlage ist auch in einem sehr gepflegten Zustand. Les mer
