Delight Hotel - Taipei

The hotel staff were polite and helpful. However, the room we were in was small with very low ceiling - not for claustrophobic or tall guests. The bathroom-toilet was frosted glass paneled. The bathroom floor is about 12 cm higher than the main bedroom floor with a slight raised kerb - dangerous for older guests with poor night vision as the kerb and […] dark carpet were of the same shade. There was an unsightly water stain on the carpet where there might have been a water leak from the shower stall into the bedroom behind the hotel room door. The one elevator is tiny with faulty motion sensor - the doors kept closing on us before we could either get totally in or out with our baggage! Les mer

Great location. Super friendly staff, but rooms smell like smoke and mold. Ask the front desk to give you an air freshening machine. If they can resolve this issue, this is a great hotel for a reasonable price.

The hotel overall is very good and is in a great location. Just about 5 minutes walk to the train station and in the center of several restaurants. The hotel is also located on the street off the main highway (Nanjing) and so is quiet. Room is clean and comfortable though I think the only thing missing is a clock. The complimentary coffee in the room […] was great and the cable included English channels. The wifi connection works and is taff was in general helpful and friendly. Going to the airport was not a problem since the airport shuttle is just two minutes walk from the hotel. Les mer

We stayed for a total of 4 nights and were very satisfied. The hotel staff are polite in answering all of our endless questions. Breakfast was decent. Rooms are very quite and comfortable. There is a business lounge downstairs and you can host visitors with free tea and coffee. There is also an American style self service laundry in the downstairs garage. […] We washed all of our laundry before we left and came back home all clean after a week on the road. Location is excellent, and the Metro station is about 5 min walk. If you are coming from Taipei Taoyuan Airport, you can take the Evergreen (changrong) airport shuttle 5102 and it drops you off on the corner of Fuxing/Nanjing, which is only a block away from the hotel. Overall, much better than City Inn near the Taipei Station where we also stayed for two nights. Les mer

the location is quite good, 5min to MRT station. the room is new but smelled bad. the hotel is next to a road, a bit noisy.

This place was mostly awesome! Nice sized room, good shower, comfortable bed, excellent breakfast, amazing customer service, easy use of laundry facilities, and a gym that was useful for exercise. I felt at home on my two week stay here. My only complaint was the weekend smoker down the hallway. Although Taiwan doesn't allow smoking in any building, […] people still do it on occasion and there doesn't seem to be much of a consequence for it. The hotel was nice though and brought a machine to clean the air in our hallway and the smoke smell was gone quickly. Other then that, this hotel was great. The Delight Hotel is located about 1 block away from the nearest subway line which is very convenient. We felt safe walking near the hotel and there are several resturants nearby if you needed a quick bite to eat. All the staff we interacted with was friendly and could speak English well.

This is my first time staying in this hotel. Nice and courteous staff. They will try all their ways to help you find the best deal, best solutions for your needs. Great location. Must go and stay.

A fantastic location, this Hotel is just round the corner from the Neihu MRT line, which makes access to other areas of the City very simple. The staff were very friendly and helpful with a great English level. The room was comfortable and clean, though the bathroom set up was slightly bizarre and could cause a damp odour in the room at times. The […] only downsides to the Hotel was that WiFi connection in the rooms was very weak (that said there is a Business Centre for computer access) and the Gym wasn't up to much. Les mer

We are happy with the room and the nice decoration along the corridor leading to our room. The room is clean and cosy except that at times we can smell mild cigarette smoke through the room air-cond ventilation although this is a non-smoking establishment. This could be due to errant guests next door.

This is hotel is pretty nice for the price. The location is about 5 min walk to the Nanjing MRT and the Eva Green Airport bus which only cost 140TWD at the time. This line is one stop from the main red line and therefor its easy to get anywhere. the Taipei Zoo and gondala is on the same line about 20 min mrt ride away. the Jade museum and miniature […] museum are in walking distance about 15 mins. A taxi was always outside the hotel. Nearby is a foreign sports bar called the Brass monkey, sorry ladies but this place was packed with foreign man and local ladies.so i was not very comfortable here as a solo lady. ladies get free entry on Thursday. There is a 7-11 on the corner and some restaurants on the main street. Plus a McD and subway nearby if you get a need for familiar food. The room was a big size for just me(2 people easily would be comfortable) and the tub was nice too as i work in a country without tubs. Room came with bottled water, tea, elec kettle, small refridge, nice flat screen tv with over 100 channels (one is Japanese porn 24hrs), and your normal amenities. Free wired internet in room. Some more storage place would have been nice but i was ok as one person. Bed was soft by Asian standards The staff spoke English very well and were fairly helpful. The only problem i had was getting help with my tour confirmation. I had trouble making calls cause the tour people spoke Chinese and I asked for help. The help was limited from the front desk. My tour had to be missed since i didnt know where to meet them with confirmation. I was able to check in early and store my luggage on my last day so i could do another tour. The breakfast buffet is fairly nice but doesn't change from day to day but that's normal. But you can get omelets to order or eggs prepared anyway you want (e.i. scrambled, sunny side etc) which makes a difference in a week stay. 第一次自由行，在這間酒店住了三晚，鄰近㨗運站的南京東路站，交通相當方便、環境寧靜、房間舒適、整潔，是相當好的選擇。

接待員十分有善！房間還有浴室都十分清潔而且很大。

台湾の宿泊施設は暖房の入るとこが多いですが、ここは暖房が入っていて暖かく過ごせました。 毎日お水（2本）、ジュース（紅茶1本）、カップ麵（1杯）が人数分でサービスしてくれて、とても助かりました。

地理位置很好，捷运南京东路下来10分钟就能找到。房间有点小，和图片上有点差异，不过工作人员很热情。

房間非常清潔舒適，只是外表有一點點舊，前往台北小巨蛋也只不過步行十分鐘，而捷運也只不過是五分鐘路程。

Great location, well maintained hotel. Aithough not the flashy modern hotel you would expect to find in Taipei, it's probably the best value in any major city.

整个房间狭窄。 内部的设计师大概不是华人，盥洗室（包括淋浴间）的玻璃门入口正对的床的右侧，且仅有1-2米之近。风水极差，感觉湿漉漉的，潮气直冲床铺 电视上有无需付款的A片耶，刚发现时，觉得老板用心周到啊。但转念一想，如果有儿童入住怎么办呢？ 第二天白天转台看到A片是24小时在放，可能就有点儿过了吧？大白天的也在哦噢阿啊的...无语。。。伟哥再好吃，顿顿吃也没劲儿吧 住过其他的台北优美酒店，高雄华王酒店后，再住这里，觉得这里的早餐简直不能看，一个不精神（怀疑是否新鲜干净），另外一个种类少，没有食欲。尽管每天有免费的早餐，还是走出去外面吃吧 员工也不会差到哪里去，所以写下上面的恶评有点儿觉得是否会对不住员工。。。不好意思， 这个酒店不是我的风格--感觉更适合情侣的钟点房

The hotel is newer decorated than I expected. The room is not very big, but spacy enough. It's only 3 minutes walk from metro station and close to life convenience facities.
