Vi koste oss veldig på hotellet. Det er sjarmerende, rent og har god beliggenhet. Frokosten er enkel, men god, med mye deilig frisk frukt. Rommet er ikke stort, men stort nok. Og det at det har et eget særpreg gjør at det ikke blir et typisk sterilt hotellrom. Anbefales virkelig!

A truly fabulous hotel with a unique atmosphere, clean and cosy room, great location in walking distance to both sights, shopping and nightlife, including 28 tram stop up to the castle area among other places. I'll definitely stay here next time I'm in Lisbon. Tip: bar right across the street has some great live fado.

Selv om området rundt hetellet tilsynelatende var litt shabby, var det sentralt. Gode senger, meget gjennomført innredning for de som er opptatt av det. VI klagde på at nødutgangen var sperret når vi kom på hotellet, og måtte gå noen runder før de tok det alvorlig, men etter hvert beklaget de seg. Bodde der i tre netter.

Hyggelig og moderne Hotel. God beliggenhet, men be om rom mot Tagus. Litt dyrere men bevares så flott, og så slipper du evt. støy fra nattklubben bak hotellet.

We enjoyed every minute of our stay in Lisbon. Main reason for that was our hotel.it is close to all the important places- Baixa, Chiado, Bairro Alto, Parca do Figueris. We walked to Belem tower and discoverers tower. Tejo river walk was only 500 m from our door. We felt very safe in the neighbourhood. Hotel provides mini custard pastries and port as […] a welcome in the afternoon. Hotel also provides 3 sushis and a welcome drink for each day of your stay. Sushi prepared was one of the best sushi I have ever eaten. I will stay at this hotel again and will recommend it to my friends. Les mer

This hotel is great. Great service, lovely staff and very clean and comfortable. Only slight problem was the night life just below (disco in the basement) which lasted the entire night until 6am.

LX Boutique is a good hotel, recently renovated. My room (Xssential backstreet) was on the second floor, very clean, small but with everything needed. Main issue was the loud disco in the street below, even with earplugs it could still be heard. The Wifi worked seemlessly.

We had a very spacious room, with a fantastic bathroom. Nice interior design and helpful staff. The only downside was the noisy. Despite asking for a quiet room and keeping windows and shutters closed we could still hear the noise from the bars in the street.

Hotel is located close to the waterfront and about a 10 minute walk up the hill to the Alto area. It's on a busy junction but there was absolutely no street noise to disturb sleep. The rooms we had were on the 1st floor and were a little smaller than the photos suggest but were very clean and comfortable and were just about big enough for two to share. […] Breakfast was a good continental (only hot dish is scrambled eggs) and plentiful. Free wifi also helped (unlike some English hotels). Staff were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Staff were very friendly and effiicient. Suggestion of nearby tapas restaurant provided a really enjoyable authentic experience. Beds very comfortable. Quieter than we might have expected given the location. We chose to pay for a top priced room and it did have good views of the river and trams but we were disappointed to find a nasty looking stain […] on the sofa (did mention to staff). (Otherwise the room was very clean.)The proximity of the ensuite to the bed and the less than opaque blind on the window which made up the side next to the bed was not to our taste (maybe it's our age!). The staff were great, the hotel is GORGEOUS with so many interesting touches, (plus delicious complementary tinto porto and pasties in reception each afternoon), the room was beautiful and beds way too comfortable if you need to get up early! Only thing I would mention if you're staying with a platonic friend is that the smoked glass of the bathroom […] wall doesn't hide much if you're shy. Hotel location is just perfect for partying and Lisbon sure knows how to do that! I will definitely stay here again when in Lisbon, and Lisbon watch out as no.1 and no. 2.14159 will be back soon!! The hotel itself is immaculately clean and comfortable and the staff bend over themselves to be helpful. There is a quirky restaurant attached that served amazing fusion food - never had anything like it and it was delicious. There is no gym (they have a contract with a local gym) but you would likely find it pleasant to run locally anyway because of […] the location. Secure undergound parking is five minutes walk up the hill. The free Internet was the best I have ever experienced. We were unfortunate in that it was carnival time in Brazil and so this was obviously an excuse for party time in Portugal - until 6am. Some rooms have more street noise than others and you need to choose your room carefully. If you go, try eating dinner at the Meson Andaluz around the corner. Unforgettable. More of a holiday than a business hotel, but if you are going to some of the government or European Commission buildings in the area it is incredibly convenient. Les mer

We had a wonderful weekend in Lisbon celebrating my friend's birthday. The LX hotel is just gorgeous and in a fantastic location, although be prepared to walk up some steep hills in Lisbon! When we arrived they had upgraded our room to a river view which was lovely. The staff were always extremely friendly and very helpful with suggestions of sights, […] restaurants & bars which all turned out to be excellent chocies. Our bedroom was modern & decorated very nicely with a great modern shower room. I would highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Lisbon. Les mer

The staffs were so nice. The room was clean and large. The beds were large and comfortable. There is the Cais do Sodre st. near the hotel. The point I was disappointed was that the bathroom was a little bit smelly...

we arrived and they didn't have our booking. the clerk blamed this on another employee. At no time did anyone offer to help with bags until we left. there was no canopy over the door, and a steep flight of steps to the entrance, so this should have been important. the bed was indeed comfortable, but there was no place to put the luggage. there was no […] closet. there was a bank of hangers on the wall, facing the bed. there was no chair in the room. outlets were inadequate for a recently renovated hotel. we had to unplug a clock and a lamp to charge our two electronic devices. the walls were too thin and any conversation in hallways could be heard. our room was on the first (european) floor with a service entrance at the fire escape which went right across our window. the service corridor was adjacent to our room. the lobby space was small and unwelcoming. the front desk was not experienced or well trained, yet had a self-satisfied demeanor and seemed to want to argue with some of our decisions about where to go. when they ordered taxis, the cabs did not go to the front of the hotel, but stopped across the busy street. this was particularly vexing in the rain. we took the 15 tram one day, and my husband's wallet got stolen. they told us they have a policy of warning people, but no warning was given when we asked about this tram. they just didn't care. i would never go back to this hotel. it was like a hostel in all but price. We stayed four nights in this hotel and found it nearly perfect. The location is great (very close to the Cais do Sodre metro station), and it is just a short walk to the shops and restaurants on Rua Garrett. Inside, the hotel is impeccably decorated. We stayed in one of the hotel's small guest rooms, and found it to be sufficient for all of our needs. […] Our only complaint is that the hotel is adjacent on one side to several dance clubs, and from our second floor room, we could hear the bass lines of the dance music continuously from about 10 p.m. on Friday night. It was still going strong even at 9:00 a.m. Saturday morning! On that same side of the hotel, there are also a number of abandoned, graffiti covered buildings, which added a bit of a sketchiness. All-in-all, the hotel was perfect for our needs, but the neighborhood is definitely somewhat "transitional." Les mer

The hotel was easy to find and were regular and easy connections to the airport. Check in staff were very friendly and the first impressions of the room were very good. A luxuriously comfortable bed, there was a hand held shower attachment as well as an overhead power shower. Free wifi was available with no password necessary, this made it easy and […] quick to search the Internet for local events and places of interest. Beautifully presented room and clean towels and freshly made beds every day. We had an evening of rain and the range of tv channels and comfortable bed ensured the evening wasn't wasted. The only problem was that there were no tea or coffee facilities, but plenty of local cafes for an energizing espresso. One evening we misplaced our key card and this was replaced by the check in staff at no cost. A very nice hotel and would recommend for couples. Les mer

Overall it was a good stay, but it ws quite noisy. Our room was right above several bars. You could hear people all throughout the night. The other direction you could hear a lot of traffic.

This hotel had a great location, convenient for the restaurants of Bairro Alto, minutes from the main attractions and across the street from the metro and train station. The staff were all very friendly, professional and helpful. The rooms were quirky and refreshing, but not for those expecting large rooms. We were on the 4th floor and was quiet with […] great city views, but friends on the 3rd floor did hear excessive late night noise from the night club across the street. 5 min walk to the main plaza and restaurants + shops. We were on the 2nd floor so we had a little 'street noise' even if windows were closed. Very charming hotel. General presentation and cleanliness was faultless as were the staff - all were very helpful, polite and friendly. The room was quirky and very well finished - the 'pod bathroom' was a little unusual and the glass wall would perhaps mean a lack of privacy if travelling with a partner etc - however, I was travelling alone so this was not an issue. General […] area felt safe when coming back after dinner. However, the hotel is situated very near to numerous late night clubs and the noise during the early hours was disturbing. Great hotel overall and the location is great with the train station a minute away and all the bars and restaurants of Bairo Alto a couple of minutes up the street. This is in a great location quite close to some very good restaurants. The staff recommendations for where to eat, when to leave for the airport, etc were spot on. The rooms were cute and, despite the location near several night spots, completely quiet. Our room was spotless, but did smell a bit of cigarette smoke. We would stay here again.

I have been to Lisbon three times before, but not for 10 years. I stayed in different parts of the city on previous occasions, but this time I knew that I wanted to be close to the river. I had booked one of their XPanded Riverfront rooms, and didn't get off to a good start when I found that I had been put in a City Front room by mistake. As they were […] fully-booked, there was no chance of being moved. The staff however, were extremely apologetic, and once realising it was their error, they IMMEDIATELY offered the two of us breakfast for our whole 4-night stay. The additional cost of this would have been more than the difference in room price...and their buffet-style breakfast was actually well worth it - we pigged ourselves on their lovely fresh selection every morning, fuelling us for each day's exploring. The room was clean, beautiful, the beds and linen were wonderful, the lighting was great, there were British-speaking channels available on the TV and the WiFi was complimentary. The exterior of the hotel was slightly shabby on one side - but to be honest, that is in fitting with Lisbon! 1 minute walk to the river, and to the nearest Metro, even less to the bus and tram. Me and my 13 year old daughter had a wonderful stay. Much recommended! Les mer

Great little room with top-notch air con and incredibly polite and helpful staff. The room we were in had a nice view from one of the windows too. Check out the bakery down the road for a cheap and tasty breakfast and the bar across the road for a drink.

I loves staying at the LX. Great location, staff were so helpful and friendly, liked the kookiness of the rooms, and hotel was relatively quiet. I couldnt hear outside noise at all, but maids start early and can hear the floor creaking in the hallway as they pass as well as what they're cleaning with in other rooms. I think this may be the best hotel I've ever stayed in. I loved the decor at this hotel--it was clean, fresh, and simple, yet whimsical and pretty. The hotel is truly a Lisbon hotel--it's high-end without being a copycat of a Hilton. I'll definitely stay here again!
