Hotellets ansatte er blandt de aller beste jeg har opplevd bland hoteller, meget hyggelige til enhver tid, altid blide, altid til tjeneste. Fikk følelsen av å være en spesiell person, men er selvsagt ikke det. Både min veninne og jeg ble positivt innstilt fra første dag, og vil absolutt anbefale dette hotellet til mine venner og bekjente. Et ganske nytt hotell,..Hotellet ligger i et bra strøk i Makati, ca. 35 minutter til International Airport, ikke så langt til Ayala eller Glorietta senter med taxi.

The air-conditioner is very Noisy, cannot sleep at night because of this.

this hotel topped our expectations by far! we came early we hoped to get an early check in, but didnt expect it... the night staff could not make decision - so we had little breakfast in the 7/11 (same building)... after a little walk we tried to ask again for check in and the young lady gave us the room keys without extra charge... we read some other […] comments about the rooms and I have to admit - we were more than surprised... the rooms are build in the length - quite comfortable! sofa, bed, dinning area, kitchen and bathroom... everything you need and all clean! bed was super comfy! kitchen has kettle and microwave to 'cook' yourself and prepare noodles... the room was just great! (we booked deluxe room to get the king size bed) hotel looks to be just opened... the business center is on second floor and some rental space still available... pool was nearly on the top of the hotel and had a great view over makati and a great sunrise at 7am ;) breakfast was ok but nothing to compare in luxury 5* hotels... but enough to have something eat before you leave. the hotel staff was always nice, smiling, helpful and didnt expect anything in return (you could feel that - of course everyone appreciates a little tip here and there... made them even more smile). I will definately stay again here and can only recommend to anyone to book this hotel... in the walk distance area is the (new) club 'Buddha Bar' and a small shopping space just in front of the hotel with supermarket and dinning places... I also read some comments about concern because red district is close by... havent seen, felt or being disturb by anything... Les mer

Enjoyed the Best Wester Antel Spa Suites....the location is great. It has the Makati Avenue address but it is set back from the hustle and bustle. The most convenient thing was having the S&M Hypermarket across the street. The area is clean and not congested. The services was wonderful. The pedicure at the Spa...not good! The Front Desk staff and Restaurant […] staff are very good. The breakfast is EXCELLENT as it offers a nice selection. A great option for guests. I would definitely go back there again. Les mer

Great hotel. Close to restaurants, but far from shopping malls. Very clean room and friendly staff. will probably return to this hotel.

Located in Makati next to a new marketplace it sits away from the typically busy Makati streets. Service was excellent as staff were accomodating. Complimentary breakfast was excellent...simple but fulfilling! Tocarra Spa is adequate...the pedicure was greatly priced but not the typical pedicure service I am used to in the states. everything went fine, right up until the end when I needed to get to the airport. If you are flying a LCC (Like air asia) the airport is far away. They told me 3-4 hours away and charged me 4000 pesos! In actuality it was 90 minutes away and should have cost less than 1000 ( the man at the airport told me). We just stayed for 4 nights in the Hotel. We booked the family room with 57 square meters. When we arrived the room was a max of 35 square meters, there was no DVD Player, the Internet was very slow and the glasses were not cleaned... We talked to the Manager and they new about the problem, the rooms are just smaller... After some talking we moved to […] the Hotel next door - Best Western Avenues Suits. There the room that we good was the right size, it was much cleaner and all the things that were supposed to be there were there. We enjoyed our stay there and the Hotel is very well located, the staff is mostly friendly, breakfast is okay, not too much to choose from, but okay and the infinity pool is nice. I was just very disappointed of the clear misinformation on the website about the room size. The Mananger actually told me that there are no rooms with that size in the Hotel....Wow, so why do you not just change your statement in the Internet? Why do you say you offer DVD when you do not? That left a bad taste for us in an otherwise nice hotel and comfortable stay. I would recommend this hotel to business travellers and also families. It was quiet and it is very nice to have a supermarked and seven 11 just outside your doors. Les mer

The only thing about my concern is the breakfast room, too small and smell's bad...

THE ROOM WAS TO SMALL AND I REALLY JUST DID NOT ENJOY THIS HOTEL AND I WOULD NOT STAY HERE AGAIN

I would stay here again, but with that price we could stay at better and bigger hotel. They overcharge for what it is. We stayed in 2 bedroom, we loved it but the room are a bit small. If you are big American like me, this place will be a little cramped. The bathtub broke so the water didn't drain. We also had trouble with hot water. But the maintenance […] guy came right away and took care of the problem. We fell a sleep in the pool area since the weather was perfect. The security came and woke us up saying that we can't nap in the pool area. I was like what da... The breakfast is acceptable for being free. The usual semi-American style. Eggs, meat, fruits, toast, cereal, etc. Don't expect 5-star breakfast at 3-star hotel. The staff members are super nice, especially the guys. The girl who work there was a little snoodie. The pool was okay. It does not receive any sunshine (maybe only for an hour) nor it is heated so water temperature is colder than usual swimming pools in Philippines. Overall it is nice, it is a few blocks away from the ghetto bar and club area, so it was a plus being away from all that. There is construction in the area so expect loud noise during the day. If are only here during the night, then it is okay. Les mer

Antel has a great location. Its accessible to malls and great bars. Our hotel room was quite cozy, the highlight would be the bathtub (wish it was abit bigger) The pool is located on the 31st floor and had a great view.

The hotel seemed to be pretty new, so everything was modern and nice and in good condition. The room was pleasant and there was also a pretty nice pool, though the pool area is small. Breakfast was ok, though nothing special. The spa is nice too, particularly the massages.

This was my 3rd visit to Manila within 6 months & my 3rd stay at this hotel. Located in the Makati area, this hotel is modern, clean with spacious rooms. The only disappointment was the in-house phone system......it doesn't work & hasn't worked on every visit! July & October 2011, you could only call land lines from your hotel phone. On this trip, the […] phones didn't work at all! I couldn't call room to room nor could I reach other hotel departments. On occasion I was able to contact the front desk, however, I could barely hear the clerk on the other end! We have friends in Manila & most residents have only cellphones! We couldn't call them on the hotel phone. A very helpful & friendly desk clerk, Christian was kind enough to let us use his personal cellphone to contact our friends! FIX THE PHONES! If the hotel management is afraid people will skip out on paying their phone bill.......isn't that why all hotels now require a credit card or cash deposit to cover incidentals??????? The location, staff & surrounding areas are some of the reasons why we return to this property.......and the internet rates are great! Les mer

This is a Great Hotel but, the Breakfast buffet needs some improvement!

Soundproofing fails. The hotel was good enough, the family suite was good with two bedrooms and bathrooms. Room was equipped well and WI-FI was free and fast (compared to two 5-star hotel we also stayed in). Only problem was that noise from corridor came trough door and windows (there was construction going on 24h in the neighborhood). Also breakfast […] was not good for us western people. This place is awesome. Convenient location, markets and restaruants right outside and close to Greenbelt. Place itself was more like a condo than a hotel room which is great. I would totally recommend this place and I would stay at this place again.

The staff were friendly and very professional. Great location and nice room..

After 12 years, went back home with my wife and 4 kids and stayed in this hotel at the 9th flr for 13 nights. All I can say is, Im going back to this hotel. They have very accomodating, courteous and nice staff . Thanks for a free extra bed, free breakfast for 2, free internet, free parking. Very clean and comfortable family suite which is being maintained […] everyday. Very clean swimming pool at the 31st floor with a beautiful view of Makati. Restaurants, pharmacy and 7-11 nearby open 24hrs, and just a mile away from the biggest and awesome malls. See you guys next year.... Les mer

Nice swimming pool; great view of city lights from swimming pool deck. Room clean and comfortable.

It was just Ok. You give them money, they give you a room. That's about it. The room was clean, but small and probably not worth the price. The location seems difficult to find for taxis. I've stayed there twice. Both times it cost more than twice to get there from the airport than what it cost to get back to the airport. (i.e. cabbies know where the […] airport is, but have to drive around looking for this place) Also, I tried to walk to get food. Within two blocks, I had no less than 20-25 very aggressive panhandlers asking for money. One even literally hung on my arm for almost a block until I have him money. I wouldn't recommend trying to walk anywhere from this location. Stay inside, or take a cab. The three skin bars within a block and half also call into question the location of this facility. Our employee had to move from this hotel after one night because it was so bad. 3.5 stars is VERY misleading, it is worse than a Motel 6 and in a horrible area.

The hotel is somewhat difficult to find as it has a Makati address but it is not on Makati Street itself. The hotel is good but slowly running down as my toilet seat was wobbly. The breakfast meal is passable but nothing to rave about. All in all, it is a good hotel.

This is a Great Hotel in a convienent location to the local nightlife and not to far from the airport. I highly recommend this hotel and I will stay here again in the future.

Next to this hotel new construction is running and it makes a lot of noise. When the construction finish then it could be fine.

Of all the Best Westerns I have stayed at, this is the only one to charge for a 'supposed' free breakfast buffet. What do I mean? Well, we were a party of 8, 4 adults, 4 children, and the hotel would only offer free breakfast to the adults. The hotel claimed that despite checking us in as a party of 8 and seeing the kids in the lobby, they had no record […] of any children staying in the hotel. Even after I showed them my confirmation stating that there were 4 children, the hotel still refused to provide free breakfast for them. It really was quite absurd. And we were not the only ones to be refused a 'supposed' free breakfast buffet. We did bring this to hotels.com attention and hotels.com did follow up to the hotel. Unfortunately, the hotel did not respond to hotels.com request for an explanation. The hotel itself is okay at best. The rooms are useful but fee cramped. The new tower being built 10 feet away really takes away from any views. The traffic in Manila makes this hotel nearly an hour away from most attractions such as the Mall of Asia and Manila Bay. The hotel advertise two pools but one is located in the sister property and not actually at this hotel. The pull-out couch in both rooms were broken. The 7-Eleven next door is useful though. I would not stay at this hotel again and would look to stay much closer to the airport or area attractions on future visits. Les mer

The hotel has positives and negatives. Wi-fi in the rooms to the rear of the hotel is first class. However there is currently a building site operational to the rear which dwarfs the Antel Spa. This leads to noise from the building site from 06.00 a.m. Staff are excellent. Place is very clean. Breakfast is reasonable but might be dependent on ones's […] taste. Location is close to red light district which is not really an issue. Taxi fare to the Greenbelt and Landmark shopping areas is less than two Euro. Les mer

the staff was very helpful, Jose was great as a manager, hotel was clean, close to many sights of interests, money changer near by and 7-11 next to hotel. excellent location

The location is different than the posting in the internet. Hotel is hard to find. I chose this hotel because acc. to the internet it's closer to the Ayala center than Mandarin, to find out it's 6 blocks away and on the red light district. The room stinks. Breakfast sucks. but the friendliness of the staff is great.

Stayed for 4 nights. Disappointed by: - noise construction on neighboring building that started at 4am - really bad breakfast quality - wifi that had less than 1 bar of strength in the room

Not so pleasant.

Good hotel, clean good service except that anything not included in room rate ie WiFi, breakfast etc. is three times more expensive than any of the surrounding hotels. (Avenue not included as they are part of Antel Spa chain.

where do I start at. 1st they say Pillowtop mattress dvd play, separate bathtub and shower and soundproofed roomsyou don't get any of that you have ask for the dvd play and they did have it. and chuck out they dont help me to carry my laggage when the time i need to check out i call to theier front desk to send me a bell boy to help me for my laggage […] but no one came to my room. then all get there for Blanket is Comforter. they spa out you my as wall get the 3 year old walk on your back they do beter job then them. the only good think there was the bus boy and girl at the hotel. The Hotel is new and while a bit spartin, its clean and has a small kitchen. Problem was, its not where the map shows. Acording to the map, it should have been next to the Mandrin Hotel on Makati and Pesao De Rohas but it was almost half a mile away. Its near the club district, not the business and shopping district. noisy hotel renovation is going on front desk is too slow

This hotel is nice and clean. Staff at front desk are very helpful face-to-face (over telephone they are hard to understand and to explain things to). Entrance is a little weird - lifts are "hidden" away, but on the other hand they are fast and efficient. Hotel breakfast is simply not worth it. Pool on 31st floor is ok, but not very big, and not a large […] poolside area. Family room was small, but definitely usable (would prefer no kitchenette, and a little more space for living room or bedroom). Construction site nextdoor very noisy at 4 am! Good free wifi in rooms. The hotel is new and offers very good service. The staffs are courteous. The free parking is also a plus. Looking forward to staying there again.

Hotel deserves to be a FULL 4 Stars! The only things standing in it's way is a nice high quality full-service restaurant in Antel not A.Venue Hotel as well as Central A/C throughout *including the corridors of the rooms. Also the gym looks unfinished, A/C would be nice in there too and possibly some LCD TVs to keep it from seeming to quiet. The hotel […] was nice, customer service was on top of everything. I love the 24 hour room service and the rooms are very comfortable and easy to adapt to.The interiors were nicely furnished and easy on the eyes, nothing was really an eyesore even though some wood was laminate. I would stay here again. The front shopping center is still very empty, once more is developed I could stay Antel is on the rise to becoming a good hotel destination. Antel can't really be in the same category as other hotels, since to me their in the category of luxury serviced apartments. Good job for a new hotel. I also had a problem with my television. They had a prompt service and came in replaced my TV in less than 10 minutes. They were really on TOP of it. ONE MAJOR CON: Since it is fairly new, it is hard to explain to taxis where the hotel is located.. Les mer

I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Center of the Makati Ave, sometime taxi drivers are difficult to guess the location, bcoz of little inside. The breakfast and ammenities are exceptional.

Although it says Suites, they are very small rooms with small beds. Nobody answers phone in reception after about 8pm. Spa itself is very good.
