Will rank as # 1 as the worst place I have ever ate in my 62 yrs. of being on this planet.How go you screw up breakfast, just plain nasty. Paid $ 11.00 left it on my plate.

Way to much money for horrible rooms!!! This Casino is too far away from everything so walking is out of the question. Unless you like to gamble until you are blue in the face there is nothing else to do. They do have a band on the weekends but if you like to drink they will cut you off after a few drinks. On Christmas morning, the housekeeper knocked on our door at 8am to clean our room. Check-out isn't until noon. She asks us to put the do not disturb sign on the door until we check out. I feel they can check with the front desk to see who has checked out if they want to clean the room before check-out time but we did as she asked. 15 minutes later […] my husband leaves the room to put one of our bags in the car. The housekeeper immediately walks right into the room without knocking when I was still in the room. The do not disturb sign was even still on the door. We will not return to this hotel. Les mer

Fortune Valley is a very nice hotel, although it is a mile away from all the other nice hotels. Because Blackhawk and Central City are easy to navigate, we had no problem spending less to stay here. The room was spacious and very clean and the casino was enjoyable as well. We didn't eat at the hotel so I can't say how the food was. well maintained. Had an issue with our room, told the front desk and they fixed the problem immediately. WE WOULD stay here again any time.

no room service. only one place to eat no near by resturants small tv not many or varity of table games

The room was comfortable how ever the chairs were dirty. And the room was arranged all wrong. Hard to see TV from bed.

We usually stay at one of Fortune Valley's competitor hotels in Blackhawk, not Central City. To our delight, our room was comfortable and well appointed, the food at Adore Restaurant was good, the wine selections we more than reasonably priced for the quality and my favorite slot machine was on the premises! We usually walk to several casinos and found […] no need this time to leave their building.. My only disappointment was the morning we left. Our valet gave us no assistance with our bags after telling us we needed to get in our car at the top of the parking lot exit, offered no assistance with them as we struggled with the width of that entrance. We are generous tippers and regretted handing him as much as we did. Awww, a little training is all.... We will be coming back to Fortune Valley again and again. Les mer

We had a great stay. The casino and hotel lobby has been recently updated. It looks beautiful and there is now a night club room. for live music The hotel rooms were comfortable and clean. They could use an update but maybe they're next .

The hotel was just ok. I booked online and that was fine but the hotel staff just was ok. I also asked for a smoking room and didnt get that, no one could direct me anywhere I needed to go and I will not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Hotel was good, but the town sucked. NOTHING to do unless it was in a casino....

Check-in at 4 p.m. was unsatisfactory, with a long line of guests forming & only one person present at the registration desk. After waiting for 10 minutes, my friend asked for the manager & a second person appeared only to disappear again. Several minutes later, a man dressed in a gray suit appeared & spoke with the clerk. Upon request, he identified […] himself as the manager & we presented our complaint to him. Eventually, another person appeared to check in guests; he had manned the registration desk when we first arrived between 1 & 2 p.m. We found the route between parking garage & hotel floors confusing and lacking clear directions in both the elevator and the building's interior. The lower rating for room cleanliness refers to a strong smell of cigaret smoke although we had requested a non-smoking room & the room was marked as such. Otherwise, the room was spotless & the facility is located only minutes from, and within walking distance of, the Central City Opera. Les mer

The hotel was fine, nothing to write home about though. The fortune is being remodeled so not much here, but so is the whole town, Central City. But ok place not too expensive. None of the staff have the personality and helpfulness you expect from a casino.

Hotel was excellent; personnel friendly, cafe service extremely slow, but food was good. Casino tidy and nicely appointed.

Was put in a room by the laundry very noisy all night!!

Staff was not friendly or accomadating, no promos for casino etc. Plumbing in room (toilet, bathtub) not working properly and kept us awake most early hours of morning. Not one staff member asked about our stay or followed up. Staff not available to welcome or direct.

Hotel service was fine but was put into a room with one bed when reservation stated two had to get a different room, even though had do not disturb on door room service knocked on door, and the when turned in keys was being charged 85.00 and don't even know why until receptionist looked up something and stated she was wrong I feel would have not turned […] in the keys and left them in the room only I would of been charged 85.00 Les mer

Bed in the room was old and matress was aweful, could not sleep, went to resturant service was slow food was cold and did not get what we orderd, the construction was disruptive and going on in the entire casino we did not enjoy our selves. We would not recommend this motel to any one and we will not be going back

Stayed at Fortune Valley on the 1st day of a 5 day vacation in CO after staying in 3 other hotels around the state went back to Fortune Valley for my last day. The hotel is great !! The people are very nice and helpful especially BJ the floor manager. I look forward to my next stay in Central City at Fortune Valley ! The entire facility is going through […] a 20 million dollar renovation. I cant wait to see how it changes ! Les mer

The bed was hard and there was a lot of renovations going on.

The room was large and comfortable. We had a double queen and that seemed to be larger than the kings we saw. The hotel lobby and casino were in the process of being remodeled and that was nearly completed when we were there. Would definitely stay here again.

Fortune Valley was a great place to stay! We had planned on camping for my bachelor party, but my Best Man's flight was delayed for a day. Instead, last minute, we booked this room. It was a huge room for the price (the other hotel we stayed at was tiny for nearly the same price), and they were very accommodating! We had plenty of room for floor sleepers, […] and it was not at all cramped. It is within a mile of Black Hawk, so we could easily walk there to gamble and hang out. This was a great place to stay for couples, families, guys night, girls night, whatever the occasion. Highly recommended. Les mer

The Hotel is going through a remodel. Word on the street says a Hard Rock Cafe is going in there. The hotel is in a bad need of complete remodel. Bathrooms are adequate for now but furniture, HVAC, and restraunts need to be updated. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We did not want to eat there due to other venues in Blackhawk, about 1 mile away […] that were much more appealing. Les mer

Food service was rather chaotic and slow, room was clean and quiet, casino was great. Overall a good experience.

You should inform the customer that this hotel requires a $30.00 deposit on the room.

while staying at this motel the fire alarm went off with strobing lights going off in our room alarms in the hall way, I called the front desk right away and was told it was nothing and that fire dept would come shut it off, it 4 am Im trying to sleep but ccant with that light going off in the room, I waited and called downagain to make sure everything […] was still ok it had been 35 mins, she again said its nothing, after 45 mins of the alarms and lights going off they finally shut it off, I was no impressed and thought for the price they charged for the room was way to high Les mer

Went to Fortune Valley with some friends for a night spontaneously. They had the biggest casino with the cheapest rooms. All the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. Drinks were cheap and the rooms were clean. I would definitely recommend this place for a cheap but fun night in black hawk.

Very nice hotel. Rooms were clean and well furnished. It would be nice if they still had a buffet and steak house. I rate it as 4.5/5.

This hotel was quiet, and within walking distance to several casinos in central city. There was a bus available to the downtown area of Blackhawk Casinos. The price was great when ordering from Expedia. The staff was very accomodating. No cafe after 10pm was the only issue, however, the main desk had lunchboxes for 5$. Stay in blackhawk if you are trying to gamble and have fun with other.... people. Central city is a ghost town and you cannot walk down to blackhawk basically stranding yourself at fortune valley. The hotel is ok but outdated and there is no room service besides sub sandwiches until 2:00am. My Grandma stays away from fortune valley and no amount of […] discount will bring me back. Les mer

It was great. The hotel staff was amazing, very friendly and genuine. Real people working real hard. We had adjoining rooms and it was perfect! Shuttle bus driver was hysterical, had people singing on the bus and joining in with quick comments etc. SUPER FUN getaway!! Rooms were clean, beds comfy, and food delicious. Thank you!
