My wife and I spent 15 days in Chile for our honeymoon. Our first two nights in country we had the privilege of staying at the Aubrey. It was just a wonderful experience. The staff took exceptional care of us and I do not recall getting better service at any hotel I've ever stayed at. The hotel even comped us a complimentary bottle of champagne that […] we drank pool side. The restaurant at the hotel was also exemplary. We stayed at the Aubrey for 4 nights and from the moment we arrived until we left we had an amazing time. The hotel is well situated in the Bellavista area of Santiago, which is packed with great restaurants and close to a lot of the main tourist attractions. The Aubrey is a truly wonderful boutique hotel with beautiful design, a fantastic layout, awesome […] bedrooms and great outdoor bar and pool areas. The staff were fantastic, extremely friendly and couldn't do enough to make our stay enjoyable. When it came to the food we were really impressed. Breakfast was great, offering a wide choice of yummy food and The Aubrey's dinner and mouth watering desserts and cheeseboards were superb. The Aubrey was a super comfortable and pleasingly esthetic small hotel in the Bellavista area of Santiago. We walked to great restaurants for lunch and dinner. The staff was completely helpful, from giving advice about dinner reservations to contacting our friends at another Hotel. Hip, relaxing, with great service!

The Aubrey is a beautiful hotel. We had 2 nights there and enjoyed all it had to offer with one exception and that was having to listen to one of the owners of the hotel abuse his staff, swear at his staff and even fire one of his staff, and all this in the hotel bar! We could not believe it. The other staff were very good and professional and it would […] be for this reason I would suggest the hotel is worth a visit. The Aubrey is in an excellent location in the Barrio Bella Vista, adjacent to San Cristobal, and an easy walk to the main down town area. The Aubrey has a great ambience, relaxing and quiet, and the staff were excellent. I had read recent reviews criticising the cleanliness and the quality of the breakfast, but we did not experience this. Breakfast […] is not just self serve: freshly squeezed juices, eggs etc cooked to order, fresh espresso coffee were all offered. Complimentary afternoon tea is offered each day, and the bar is well stocked. Staff were helpfukl with restaurant suggestions and organiseda day tour for us.We thoroughly enjoyed 4 nights there at the end of a 4 week holiday in South America. Les mer

In the midst of busy, boho Bellavista is a lovely retreat in a beautifully restored mansion with a mediterranean style pool, an antique filled house with the most modern of amenities, and an extremely friendly, helpful staff. My wife and I had a week in this wonderful boutique hotel, and the only thing wrong with it is that it is too far away for us to visit regularly. From our welcome after 24 hours of travelling with a wonderful breakfast to the flawless service throughout our stay we could find nothing to critiscise. The rooms are very tasteful and extremely well appointed, […] and refreshingly there is no charge for the WiFi service.Breakfast is superb and served by very helpful staff who really made us feel we were guests in a family home, rather than a chic hotel. The pool and bar area were superb, and we were told that this is the only heated outdoor pool at any hotel in Santiago. I was in Santiago for a coference, but my wife was able to enjoy the facilities to their full extent. She was very happy with everything, and there is no higher praise. There is no retaurant in the evening, although complimentary refreshments in the form of home made cakes, biscuits and pasries are available all day. The Hotel is located in an area literally bursting with good quality retaurants and livelier nightlife if required, so the lack of evening dining is not a problem. Tapas and a light meal are available on Friday and Saturday evenings however. If you are looking for a relaxing , high quality hotel without pretentions in Santiago you could do no better than stay at the Aubery. Les mer

I stayed at The Aubrey Hotel overnight after 1 week's skiing in Portillo and again several weeks later after touring around northern Chile on my way out. The Hotel staff were exceptional in accomodating my needs and making me feel welcome. They allowed late (very late) check-outs on both stays at no extra charge (based on occupancy), provided on demand […] complimentary coffee and fresh orange juice, gave excellent dining recomendations and took great care of us during a power outage that left half of the country without power (candle lit tappas, complimentary shots of fine tequila, great wine selection). I travel every other month to Santiago and I like to try different experiences about hotels. I waited about 2-3 months to get a room a ¨The-Aubrey¨ and maybe my expectations were to high about this ¨hotel-boutique¨. The hotel is only ¨nice¨ , as I said before I have been almost in every 4-5 hotel stars in Santiago and surroundings and this is a ¨good […] try¨ hotel. It is really very expensive for what they offer. Good rooms, good breakfast, good people but NOT ¨outstanding as the price¨ and if you consider the odor to be located beside a zoo... not worth it!. Not mention when I ask for the gym and they said that I needed to go to the hotel W 20 minutes away to make my workout.. The room was really well design and clean but with the tubes of the last bathroom maintainance work already there!. The cover of the bed were this kind of cover that .. ¨fry you inside¨. Why a lot of design hotels thinks that with tick covers will avoid that guest will woke up in the middle of the night almost fried?. The Aubrey must keep trying to doing better. I have traveled a lot, and The Aubrey is definitely the best hotel I've ever had the chance to stay in. The rooms are all very comfortable and beautifully decorated, and I have never seen such attentive owner and staff, who gave us great restaurant tips and helped us immensely in choosing which wineries to tour. I wouldn't dream of staying anywhere […] else if I return to Santiago! Les mer
