Very nice, close to historic downtown Swansboro. Entire hotel is non-smoking. Shops, stores, restaurants nearby. My only gripe-- no jacuzzi!!!
"This place is not worth the money!!"
I stayed here paying an absurd amount for one night, then decided sense I was not at home to wait on taking a shower, the next day there was no hot water zilch, nada none, so I skipped the shower and left soon after I told the front desk and finally after some hassle they gave back the money! Do not recommend!
"Simply the best"
We stayed in 9 different hotels on our journey all booked with hotels.com, but this is absolutely the best. This hotel is completely new (less than 1 year) and it is just phantastic. I loved the interiour and the staff was sooo friendly. The beaches (about 4 miles) are wonderful, not crowed and have these pretty wodden houses where the millionaires […] live I assume. What a pleasure to stay here. The front desk staff was very pleasant & personable. The room was beautiful & the beds were very comfy. Morning breakfast was very good with a lot of choices & plenty of room for guests to dine. The grounds were very well kept. It was too cold for the outdoor swimming pool but it looked inviting anyhow. The hotel was close […] to a small plaza & there were a couple of restaurants within walking distance. We drove into the town of Swansboro & found a little coffee shop that was cute & cozy & had some great pastries & specialty coffees. We drove to the beach which wasn't very far at all. "Swansboro Hampton"
I stayed at this hotel twice in one month and really enjoyed both stays. The rooms are spacious, trendy and comfortable. Because the hotel sits just off a major highway, road noise was loud at times, but I brought a white noise machine during the second stay and slept great. The continental breakfast was plentiful and the lounge accomodations were nice. […] The fitness room was a bit small, but adequate for my needs. The staff was extremely helpful, gracious and accommodating. There are plenty of good restaurants in the area and Swansboro shopping. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area and will plan to stay at this hotel again in the future. Les mer

"The Hampton Inn in Swansboro NC-Great Stay!"
Our stay was terrific! The staff were friendly and helpful. Room was lovely and super clean. Buffet breakfast was really good. Had been staying elsewhere and decided to give the Hampton Inn a try. So glad we did. Will be our 1st choice from now on. By the way great price!

We got this hotel at a great deal on hotels.com. Was very nice and clean. Beds were comfortable. Only issue we had was that our fridge didn't seem to work. If back in that area again, we'd stay again.

"Way better than expected"
I arrived at the hampton inn and as soon as I got there I was gretted with smile and the employees there were very helpful and warm. I got to my room and it was perfect. the bathroom was spotless (I have had problems with that before) and the floor and bed were so clean. I recommend this hotel highly.

The staff was very friendly and helpful with all of our needs. Room was large and clean which was good with two small kids playing on the floor. The breakfast was awesome. Eating area was large and very comfortable.

We stayed at this hotel to welcome home our son from Afghansitan. It was about 20 min. to the base from the hotel, but it was a easy drive and well worth the travel. The hotel staff was very accomodating and friendly. The breakfast was wonderful and the facilities top notch. The work out room was very nice. "Beautiful new hotel"
This hotel is gorgeous! Much more than we expected in "rural" NC. The hotel was beautifully decorated, the beds were comfy, and the breakfast had a great variety.
We were there for only one night, but were very pleased with the hotel. The staff were fantastic. And the breakfast was one of the best we have had at a hotel. The only problem was the noise from the room next door. They had screaming kids---running up and down the hall and banging on doors and walls. We were so tired from our 12 hour drive, we finally […] fell asleep (the beds were that comfortable). Overall it was one of the best places we have stayed in the past few years. Les mer
"Water problem"
On the second evening of our stay, I was awakening by a noise that sounded like bees buzzing in the overhead light. In the morning, I stepped on the carpet near the tile and found the carpet to be wet. I had my travel bag and clothes on the carpet in that area. My bag and clothes were wet. I told the cleaning staff of the problem and reported it to […] the desk immediately. I was asked if I wished to change rooms. However, since we had only one more night to stay it seemed unnecessary to change rooms. I was disappointed that there was no offer to clean my bag or wet clothes. I had to fly home with a wet bag and wet clothes. My bag has a very strange smell and is no longer usable. It was a cloth bag purchased at the National Zoo and was a gift from my daughter. I am very sad that I won't be able to use the bag any longer. The value of the bag was around $40. Given the circumstances, I think that Hampton should replace my bag and reimburse me for the cleaning costs of my clothes with would have been $35. I am not saying that they did not respond but I do think that something could have been done about my wet items. Les mer

Our stay at the Hampton Inn in Swansboro, NC was wonderful. The staff are extremly friendly and the hotel is VERY clean. We actually already have a room booked at this hotel again over Christmas. Definately recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Swansboro area especially military familys visiting Camp Lejeune like we were.

We had a wonderful experience at the Hampton Inn while visiting relatives nearby. The clerks were all friendly, the room was nicely appointed with a very comfortable bed, and the breakfast bar was simple but tasty and fresh.

I am glad we stayed at the Hampton Inn, Swansboro. It is a very clean, comfortable, and pleasing to the eye facility. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise! Due to the reviews, I booked with Hampton Inn and they were all correct. Being a newer hotel does give it a leg up on the others, but everyone of their staff receives five stars for friendliness and offering to go that extra step. We had a nice stay at this nearly new hotel. The staff was courteous and proficient, and the complimentary breakfast offered several favorites including waffles and fresh fruit. Local attractions were easily accessed. Would stay again, for sure.

This hotel was quite new and was so lovely to stay at. The customer service was outstanding and were high quality. The room was modern but very comfortable. We stayed in the king room with the divder worked out great for us especially with a 2 year old, who slept on the pull out couch. The breakfast was tasty and everything was clean. We chose this location because we are active duty military and will be stationed in camp lejeune but didn't want the craziness of the Jacksonville strip. The hotel is brand new and the staff was very friendly. I was thrilled with the size of the room and the quality of the fixtures, furniture and bedding. When I travel I often must wear earplugs to sleep, however here they were not needed. The hotel was quiet and the breakfast was great.
