"Safehouse"
very very safe place, freindly and helpfull staff, very clean and walking distance to shopping mall. Has a nice small pool and hamocks to relaxe in. Stayed there the last night in hounduras, smart choice
good value for the money. the driver ,oscar picked me up late at the airport. i definentely recomend him for your pick up. not to much around the hotel.

Located in very quiet area, but often confused with another "La Posada" in less desireable location. Make sure you have address for taxi, so you arrive at correct location. However, this can be avoided because the owner will provide free transportation to and from bus terminal. I will return.
"Good economical stay for San Pedro Sula"
Large, clean, comfortable room on quiet street in university area. Breakfast is served in a small courtyard overlooking pool. They will provide airport pick-up service if you call or e-mail in advance. Shopping mall a few blocks away has multiple eating options, but one must be careful walking streets in San Pedro Sula. Better to call for a cab.
Very nice and helpful owners but service personnel was quite indifferent. A big drawback was a somewhat isolated location if you didn't have your own car, hard to get anywhere. The b&b driver did provide inexpensive transportation to the airport and was pleasant and knowledgeable.

"ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!"
People commenting negatively and give bad star ratings are spoiled brats. This is a really nice place. The staff was nice and very accommodating. I love small quint places like this and would go back if I had the chance.

A bit difficult to get to, our taxi driver got lost, but nice p,ace with helpful staff once you get there. If you can arrange yo have Oscar, the hotel driver pick you up. He and the other people there are super.

I'm not sure I would recommend San Pedro Sula as a holiday destination, but if, for whatever reason, you are passing through I can recommend La Posada. "not a good choice for us"
Eric and Oscar were great.. free pick up at the bus.. great service to airport in the am...awesome.. check in ok.. then the noise.. laundry machine running til late partying guests drinking loudly dogs barking roosters at 0400H. construction noise.. overall a bad stay...
Thanks for taking the time to write about us, and I'm sorry you experience such an isolated incident, let me assure you that our place it's very quiet and perfect for resting. We have taken all the necessary steps to assure that will not happen again

Located just outside of Downtown San Pedro Sula, this lovely, safe and quiet, B & B, is highly recommended. My wife and I stayed there and can easily say, a great stay and very affordable. The owner and staff are very helpful and answer any questions you have about the area or area activities. This appears to be an upper - middle class neighborhood […] area where everyone is friendly and nice to tourists. The breakfast is coked fresh as you arrive at the table each morning. Transporation to and from the airport is available through the hotel at a reaonable charge. Transfers, to and from the bus staion, are complimentary. We enjoyed the PC in the lobby and the pool/cabana area, out back. Would go back here in a minute!! Area mall is only 4 blocks away and we enjoyed walking in the surrounding area as well. "La Posada- authentic Honduran experience."
We didn't get to deal with the man everyone else did. The lady we dealt with wasn't very friendly, but she did a good job with everything. The breakfast was a true Honduran meal so that was great for my kids to experience. This house is in a very safe area of homes of the very well- to- do in San Pedro. It was very clean and a great deal for the money. […] The American hotels cost way more and this was just as nice as those- we had stayed in the Marriott in Tegucigalpa. I would highly recommend it! We had a good experience at the La Posada Bed and Breakfast. The rooms were clean, the breakfast was great and their was a little pool out back to cool off in after a long day. I loved the hammocks near the pool. The owner was very helpful and friendly. We would stay there again.

This is the second time we stayed here and it is a very friendly, clean and safe Bed and breakfast. Our room came with a TV, air conditioning and a hot shower. The bed was a little hard, but the room was comfortable and clean. Coffee and water available all day. The staff and owner are very friendly. "good B&B"
This B&B was nice, clean and we felt safe. All that you need in San Pedro Sula. However no one there speaks English very well, except the owner who was not there, so that was a little tricky. Also I picked this B&B because it offered airport pickup, usually when it is offered it’s free but we had to pay for it, $20, when I complained he did give us […] a bus station drop off for free. The aircon didn’t really make the room that cold but towels were provided, the beds were comfortable and breakfast was ok. There is wifi but it was locked and no one knew the key so we couldn’t use it. Saying all this I would stay there again when/if I learned to speak Spanish properly. Les mer

Verglichen mit anderen honduranischen Unterkünften hat dieses "bed and breakfast" einen hohen Standard. Honduras hat aber allgemein einen sehr tiefen Standard. Zu bemängeln war lediglich, dass die Vermieter kein Englisch sprachen (was in Honduras normal ist) und dass frühmorgens die Hähne zu Konzert stimmen. Auch dass ist jedoch nicht aussergewöhnlich […] :-) Die Stadt San Pedro Sula hat selbst nicht viel zu bieten. Wir nächtigten dort, weil wir auf Durchreise waren und in Honduras nachts aus Sicherheitsgründen auf das das Autofahren verzichtet werden sollte. Les mer
