Wayside Guest Accommodation - Millom

This was such a find!! The attention to detail in this converted barn was lovely, it was warm, cosy and very inviting. The weather was wet and windy but it was wonderful to come in to a warm fire. A drying room provided to put all your wet things.The bedroom had a lovely view of the surrounding scenery, an incredibly comfortable bed, coffee and tea […] making facilities and was spotless. Stephen (the owner) is very attentive and his cooking is superb. We had a delicious eve meal and fabulous cooked breakfast. Def worth a visit, not difficult to find and a lovely place to explore. From the moment we arrived we were made so welcome wonderful accommodation immaculate.we had a meal which was fantastic and ate there every night of our stay.great hosts and every need catered for Sven down to what to do in the area walks place to visit.id highly reccomend this accommodation to anyone

What a fantastic place to stay , nothing too much trouble .Food of a very high standard , we had an evening meal along with excellent breakfasts. Whiskey shop an added attraction. Will be back again.

We had an excellent experience of the Wayside. The food was exquisite and the room itself so much more than I expected. The situation was exactly right for us too and we had a great walk up Black Coome and trip to Muncaster. Highly recommended. Hope to go back again sooner rather than later!
