Royal Embassy Resort & Spa - Phuket

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. The hotel is very nice and the owners and stuff are very helpful and friendly. But we stayed in a family room which is near a busy street (motorcycles) and construction area which was too noisy. In addition, the maintanance of the bath could be much better. The hotel was very friendly,perfectly kept, quiet oasis,very relaxing.excellent staff,great chef, It was so quite at times we felt we were the only guests,which we were not, The shuttle service was good as there is a road nearby, which can be busy at times. We stayed in a villa,they were excellent ,located round the pools ,so you were at the poolside […] as soon as you walked out. The hotel restaurant was great,both thia and European food was delicious and the presentation was superb. We ate in a variety of places around kamala,but found the hotel restaurant was head and shoulders above the rest, and the price was comparable. Les mer

I have been holidaying europe and now in asia for the last 98 days and Just spent the last ten days of my holiday here to have a unwind after my 14 country and 50 odd hotels epic . I could not have picked a better country or a better hotel to relax and unwind. Right from the begining, chech in was by phil, the owner and was a breeze, it only took moments, […] and he even carried my bags up to my room, , wow what a spacious room, it was even bigger than it apeared in the photos. The bedroom and bathroom alone was bigger than most hotels i had stayed in over the last 98days yet that area was less than half of the total area, added to the large bed/bath was a huge kitchen , lounge and dinning area opening to a balony overlooking the pool. I had been awake over 30 hrs and wanted somthing to eat then sleep, and asked phil for some suggestions, and was told of the hotel resturant, so i picked a thia red curry and tom yum. It arrived in my room within 10mins, and WOOW it was fabulous, I love thia food and this was the best i had ever had,,,,, what a start, , tthe hotel food in my opinion was better than most of was to offer in the rearby town, highy recomended. I spent a total of ten days here, and even after my very long holiday still wished i could extend my stay here, and will certainly be back within the year, i just hope, it isnt booked out. Les mer

It looks a bit old when you first arrive but it is sincerely a confortable hotel. The staff are extremely helpful and kind. Food in the restaurant is good and particularly breakfast. L

Det var et fantastisk hotel. der var dog 3 nætter og morgener hvor der var musikstøj fra genboen ( Bar ) Hotel personalet giver en suplim services. gode senge, Aircondition, fri internet, ekstra ordiner god mad.

Hotellet finns beläget avsides från stranden och nära vägen mot Patong Beach. Rummen är fina, men det märks att allt inte fungerar eller är färdigt som brukligt för ett hotell i den här kategorin. Den dyra frukosten serveras från kl 9 vilket är anmärkningsvärt sent och den är förvånansvärd enkel för ett hotell i av den här sorten. Håll koll på om frukosten […] ingår i rumspriset eller ej. Tillgången till internet ingår, men signalen är så svag och bryts lätt vilket är frustrerande. Kranar som läcker, duschar med dålig stråle. Bastu som skulle finnas tillgång till saknade bastuaggregat och funktionsoduglig. Servicen från personalen är begränsad. Saknas hiss. Du får bära väskorna själv. Det här känns inte som kan den normala service och vänlighet som man brukar få överallt annars i Thailand. Kan dessvärre inte rekommendera detta hotell. Om det här är en resort & spa så är mitt badrum hemma i Sverige ett femstjärnigt lyxhotell. Är du ute efter ett hotell att bli nöjd med välj något annat än det här. På det här hotellet blir du bara irriterad. Les mer
