Great place but the only Internet was in the lobby. In today's day and age wireless access is a must and to have to go to the lobby to get access is a pain.

We were disappointed with what the resort didn't offer. No restaurant for breakfast, no daily maid service (unless requested), no wi-fi access in casitas, no spa or exercise facility (current one not owned by hotel has been closed for two years).

Unfortunately, hotels.com did not disclose important derails such as pool, jacuzzi, and spa all closed.

Very satisfied with all aspects of our stay. Other than the entrance door sticking (repaired within a few minutes) everything was perfect. We plan on staying at Rancho Manana when in Cave Creek again.

From the time we checked in late in the evening until our departure 4 days later we were impressed with this resort in spite of the continuous rain that ruined our golf plans! We discovered the Tonto restaurant on property and were delighted with lunch and dinner there. We also encountered the local Javalena pigs during an evening walk from the restaurant […] to our casita! Quite an experience! We hope to return to enjoy the golf course and all else that the property has to offer. Overall, we found it upscale yet low key. Delightful! Les mer

It was a good stay. Two things you need to know about this. They put a $250.00 deposit on your credit card when you check in (in case you break something), we didn't know they were going to do this and bit into our vaction. Another thing is we couldn't adjust the thermostat. They had it set at 78 and it was hot, we couldn't adjust it down.

Absolutely a delightful facility. The casitas were spacious and beautifully equiped...The bedrooms both had king size beds that were wonderful and full showers and one had a jet tub too. They were on opposite sides of the unit so sharing with friends would be perfect. It also had a murphy bed that was put away in the wall that would accomodate a couple […] more....full kitchen too! The food at the Tonto restaurant was incredible and the staff was outstanding. Went later the night of our anniverary and had wine and a desert. They did Happy anniversary all around the outside of the plate and even gave us a little gift of truffels....Nice pool also with a couple of jacuzzis too.....If you like golf , the course is a shorter course with a par 70 but talk about beautiful views....First nine is quite verticle but just breathtaking......This is a must return venue for us and we are thinking what a great place to bring several other couples to relax and play golf.....LOVED IT!!!! Two couples met here for a few days and we loved it. The casitas were beautiful and the grounds lovely. The service from the staff best I've ever experienced! They answered every need...beyond our expectations. The on site restaurant was also a real treat. We were quite happy with the room except for the dirty carpet but overall quite satisified. Loved the location, the light in the rooms and have already told family they should give this resort a try.

The casitas are self-housekeeping - you have a full kitchen with dishes, cookware, cutlery, washer/dryer, dishwasher, etc. Our unit's welcome kit included soap for both the sink and laundry, as well as the usual toiletries and coffee/tea assortment. The pool was near the registration area, and most of the casitas look out over either the golf course […] or the other casitas. Our casita was 2 bedroom, one with 2 twin beds, one with 1 king bed, each with its own ensuite bathroom -- other casitas have different layouts. The balcony area never had sun on it, so if you were going for sun, you needed to go out to the pool area. On the other hand, when it got hotter in the afternoon, the balcony was a nice place to hang out away from the hot sun. The full kitchen meant that we could bring in our food for breakfast and lunch, and store our cold drinks, going out when we wanted to eat out. In terms of other on-site food, we ate dinner at the resort's restaurant one night - one of us enjoyed our dinner, the other not so much. There was nowhere to get a coffee if you didn't want to make it in your casita - otherwise you had about a three minute drive or 10 minute walk to the Java Hut, which had good breakfast options. Staff did advise that the coffee situation was likely to be remedied in future. Les mer

Rancho Manana was beautiful, will definately stay there again. The lady at check in was wonderful and very helpful. The rooms were cozy and very nicely decorated. The pool and hot tub were also very nice. Great job Rancho Manana!

This must be a 5 star. Staying at this desert resort gives us the opportunity to appreciate nature not only in the conservation areas, but also while driving in town and thru neighborhoods and right out our windows of the villa. The whole area is natural landscape. The developers cleared minimal area for the buildings and left the other area NATURAL. […] Inside our villa was very great, smooth sheets and comfy bed made us sleep 3 hours past usual. Auch für Besprechungen […] in kleinerem Kreis mit Golfrunde ideal. Nach Übernahme durch Diamond 5 Sterne Niveau. Hervorragendes Restaurant in der Anlage. Rote Flagge bei den Weinpreisen; überteuert.
