I wasn't expecting much from Japan or this hotel. I was pleasantly surprised by much great Japan was. This hotel is in a GREAT LOCATION, super friendly & helpful staff! Place is immaculate they have though of everything literally just being yourself and your bag!!! I've already recommended it to friends who have booked!

I really enjoyed staying at the Palace japan hotel and my time in Tokyo. The hotel is convenient for the city centre via Metro, but far enough out side of the hussle and bustle to allow you to chill out. We are are florida and made the long trip to japan if your looking for a place to sleep with. Clean rooms and showers this is your place. room quite small for family, shared bathrooms are quite good and clean but very cold in winter, should have some heater. Location is not close to anywhere but not too far from train station and asakusa area. kitchen is not really clean but fine. Reception was very nice and helpful. Free wifi.

Palace Japan is a bit off the tourist trail in Tokyo but is only 5 minutes walk from the nearest metro station. Staff are friendly, rooms are small but fine if all you plan to do is sleep there, and the only gripe would be that the communal toilet/shower areas were quite cold due to the windows being kept open all the time. two-person bunk bed room was convenient and well-priced. TVs were available for each bed, and there was plenty of closet space (although the room itself is closed quarters). Shared bathroom is VERY CLEAN. individual shower units ensure privacy. Worth it if on a budget, especially in such an expensive country as Japan.

Good information about the place on arrival, clean, good rooms and bathrooms. Helpful and friendly staff, even though not all of them spoke English. Computer with internett access at no-cost in the "kitchen" and I was also able to connect up in my room some times.

I only stayed there for one night, but it was very clean and the bathroom/showers were literally a step away from my room. It was a tiny room, but at the same time very clean and comfortable. I would stay there again.

For a Hostel price you get amenities like TV and a minibar. It's really well locales and maybe you share bathroom and restroom but is not that big a deal.

It is a nice, clean little hotel. Provides eating and cooking facilities. Also two computers in the dining area. The rooms are small, but we did not spend much time in them except to sleep and recharge for the next day. Quiet and comfortable. Palace hotel Japan exceeded my expectations. I got the room quite cheap and I knew it was a single room with shared bathroom. However the bathroom was big and conveniently located so this was not an issue. The room was small but it was good enough for my needs (solo traveller). It is 2 stops away from the yamanote line which was convenient for exploring and it is all covered by the rail pass. It's a 20 min walk to asakusa which has a lot going on, but immediately around the hotel there are not that many restaurants, although there is a supermarket. Hotel was new and clean. I believe the majority of rooms use the communal bathrooms, which were always clean and effective. The showers in particular were very good. I had a single room for a week. It was small, but had a nice sized locker for my large backpack. The small TV didn't really have English programming, but it was present. As was a small […] refrigerator. The climate control was also new and effective. They don't clean your room during the stay (you might be able to ask, but I didn't) and the towels are small/ unchanged during the stay as well. The other shared areas are OK, the multiple paid laundry machines and free computers are a big plus, as is the free wi-fi. They have a small kitchen with free tea and coffee, as well as appliances so you can cook. The neighborhood is very utilitarian, with almost nothing to see within walking distance. However the Minami Senju station is a short walk away and has several lines and is a short ride away from even more connections and sights. Overall, for the price I think it's a pretty good deal, and a good choice for an extremely budget hotel in Tokyo. Les mer

It's a budget hotel located very close to the Minami-Senju station on the Hibiya line of the metro and the JR rail services so transportation is excellent. Food is available from a 7-11 over the road and a supermarket round the corner The room itself is clean, small and functional with a bed, desk, wardrobe, TV and air conditioning, with enough room […] for luggage. I took a rucksack and there was ample room. If you took more than one suitcase however, you might struggle. The bathrooms are shared between a floor and are clean and well maintained. I never had to wait to use a sink, toilet or shower. Downstairs there are two computers, a TV and free unlimited hot drinks. Wi-fi is present throughout the hotel and the connection is good. My only issue is that there is marked difference in the proficiency of English between members of staff there; some speak fluent English, some a few words. That's not really a fault of the hotel, mostly ignorance on my part, but it can be difficult to arrange things like a late check out due to a lack of communication. However this is easily rectified with a phrase book or Google translate. I would easily recommend this hotel to others because it's clean, well maintained and provides exactly what you want from a budget hotel (presuming that you will be spending most of your time in Tokyo); it's somewhere comfortable to sleep, and it's got the best transport links . If I were heading back to Tokyo, I would be happy to stay here again. Les mer

The small rooms are easily redeemed by the cost and location of this hotel. The single room rate is the cheapest in Tokyo aside from capsules and shared hostel rooms that I could find. It was very clean and the restrooms had roomy showers and the high-tech "washlet" toilets Japan is famous for. I have traveled frequently in Japan, but the room size is quite small even by Japan standards. Most disappointing was the lack of cleanliness of the bed. I found hairs from previous customers on my sheets. Service was friendly and assisted with my questions. Free in-room Wifi was a big plus. The hotel (hostel) is situated in Minami-Senju which means a train, bus ride or long walk to get to the main JR Yamanote train line around Tokyo. Generally that meant leaving the hotel in the morning and not returning until late evening. I used lockers around Tokyo to store goods during the day so I didn't have to return to the MS area. Also, this area does not have much in the way of evening entertainment. This is generally a problem with this area that offers discount hotels, not this particular hotel. Les mer

Location: the nearest Station was Minami-Senju, which is about 2-3 stations away from Ueno. you will have to walk about 10mins from Minami-Senju to the hotel. Friendly staff. Depends on the day when an English speaking staff will be at the front desk. Rooms are clean and pretty comfortable--just remember this isn't a place you lounge. It's a nice place to return to after a 10 hour day of wandering and sightseeing.

急遽、東京に泊らなくてはならなくなって、手配しました。女性ひとりなのでちょっと心配でしたが、泊まったお部屋は女性専用フロアで、とても快適に過ごせました。フロントの方でもとても親切に応対していただき、ありがたかったです。シャワールーム（1つはバスタブ付き）、洗面台、トイレも共用でしたが、とても清潔で使いやすかったです。また機会があれば利用したいと思います。

很乾淨，有電梯，很多設施都是全自動的，後陽台可遠眺晴空塔，附近有超商超市很方便，浴缸很乾淨。

It was a very nice hotel with good connections to trains nearby. Very clean and good service. The only thing that one could complain about was that the beds were quite hard. All in all, a very nice hotel if you want to stay in Tokyo for a few days.

역에서 살짝 멀었지만 주변에 슈퍼가 있어서 좋았습니다. 다만 제가 배정받은 방에서 살짝 냄새가 났고, 이불도 그닥 깨끗하진 않아서 조금 불만이었습니다. 그걸 제외하고는 샤워시설도 편하게 사용할 수 있었고, 여자 화장실은 층에 하나 뿐이었지만 여자 투숙객들이 거의 없었는지 불편함없이 사용할 수 있었습니다.

チェクインがＰＭ１１時半過ぎたら受け付けてくれないシステムを事前に確認してないと大変な事になる事を思い知らされました。今回はホテルのご厚意で１時過ぎまで待ってくれて対応がよく感激しました。ホテルも清潔感があり比較的外国人が多いです。

미나미센쥬 지하철역에서 5~10분만 걸으면 도착해서 비교적 교통이점이 좋았고 호텔 직원들도 모두 친절했습니다. 주인 할머니의 영어 실력 또한 뛰어나니 굳이 일본어를 못하시더라도 영어만으로 지낼 수 있습니다. 호텔방 넓이는 조금 좁은 감도 없지않아 있었지만 침대별 개인 TV가 있었고 무료 와이파이도 잘 잡혀서 전체적으로 만족스럽게 지냈습니다.

a very clean little hotel. a bit far from the JR station if you're with heavy luggage, but you can make good use of the elevator to cross the bridge instead of the slope. I stayed in a single room. The Palace Japan hotel is located within about 10 minute walking distance of Minamisenju Station. I could even go to Tokyo Sky Tree and Asakusa on foot. 受付のおばさんが親切に施設の説明をしてくれました。 洗面所、トイレ、お風呂は共同でしたが掃除がゆき届いていて気持ちよく使うことができました。 寝室はせまいですが寝るだけなので十分です。新しいエアコンがついていてよかったです。 唯一、乾燥がひどくて寝つきがあまり良くありませんでした。気になる方は対策を考えて行った方がいいと思います。 お値段を考えると、とても良かったので、また利用したいと思います。

It was quit clean and new facillity.I like these features. small space..maybe many hotels in Tokyo are small..but it was so small as a hotel. Anyway It was good to stay for 2days.
