the hotel is not easy to be spotted because it is among the shophouses. However, its location is good because it is near the bus station. Hotel is creative to have different themes from 6th floor to 10th floor corridors. Rooms are also designed in different themes. Rooms interior are very clean & nicely decor. Hotel staff are very friendly, they will assist us in any enquiries we have. There's also a pantry area equiped with microwave for hotel customers to use. Going to Feng jia night market have to take taxi because quite far. And for Yi zhong night market have to take public bus from opp street. Not a good area if you're a shopperholic! Great location, just behind the railway/ bus station in a city that has a pretty bad transportation system, which makes it even more important. Staff was excellent, super helpful and polite. Amazing thing abt this hotel is that it provides free washing machines at the first floor. Breakfast was great also. Selection of tv programmes were great. Excellent value for money. The hotel is located very near Taichung Railway Station. The hotel looked very new and the room we stayed in was very clean though there wasn't much of a view. The breakfast and service were also excellent.

5-min walk to Taichung station. A new and energetic hotel. A clean but a bit small room (even though we have been upgraded due to late check-in). Free laundering service. Excellent breakfast buffet. A relaxing corner on the G/F for internet service and rest. Overall speaking, highly recommended.

Very near to 24 hours Hypermarket Carrefour. Very confortable once you are in the room. Like the 24 hours Lobby cafe. Double Thumbs Up!

Excellent hotel in design, service, superb breakfast, maintenance and cleanliness. Only drawback is location. It's near the "old" station, not the new High Speed Rail line. Was there for a 3D2N work trip. CityInn has really set the bar so high for the other business hotels after this trip. The hotel's interior design is very modern and fresh (not tacky), giving you a pleasant entrance and experience. Hotel is generous for a "budget" hotel, full amenities, clean solid towels, a working aircon (you'd be surprise how important […] this is), free wifi that has strong signal, the usual bottled water and chips. The room is quite small, but sufficient to get around... and clean. What mattered more to me is the toilet. It is actually spacious, and squeaky clean. Water pressure and heater checked. The only thing is that the ventilator doesn't seem to be working so it can get a bit stuffy in the toilet after a long shower - but that really is nitpicking. Hotel staff were absolutely great and helpful. Well-spoken english. The hotel actually called me 3 days before the trip to check the time of my arrival. For a small hotel, this is really thoughtful. Location didn't bother me as the standard of the hotel was more essential than staying right next to a big mall or next to the night market. The taxi ride to the biggest night market costs about USD7 one way. So it's cool. All in all, I'd say CityInn is a hotel with the price of a mid-range budget hotel, but quality provided is of a 4.5 star hotel and the service is of a 5 star hotel. If I return to Taiwan for leisure, I'll definitely be booking CityInn. Thanks for everything! Les mer

Really impressed by how helpful and friendly the staff are. Thos is perhaps, their greatest strength. Room is not big but enough for me and my family to live comfortably. A lot of facilities are available as well. Eg: oven in public area, washing machine.

Overall a Value for Money Hotel. Very good location, train station is only 2 mins walks from hotel and there are alot of eateries nearby. There is a new shopping mall - Mode Mall nearby where there is 24 hr carrefour, food court, Bubble tea house - Chun Shui Tang. Good value for $$. 3 min walk via the underpass from the train station. However the hotel is a 30 min taxi ride to Fengjia night market and 20 min taxi ride to HSR station.

Everything with this hotel is good except that the room is a bit small. I'm impressed by the cleanliness of the hotel and the services rendered by the hotel staff. Worth visiting ChangHua (BaGua Shan) & LuGang (old street).

Loved how they provide free use of laundry facilities with four washer/dryer machines and free detergent. Not only that, the hotel staff will move your clothes from washer to dryer, and then from dryer to basket during the night for you. Hallway and room decor is very contemporary and hip. Stayed for 2 nights with my wife and 2 years old son. My best stay in taiwan out of the 4 hotels we stayed in the 10 days period. The reception staff are the most friendly staff we had encountered. The hotel rooms and corridors have its own unique theme. The food is nice but the only cons is that the place where we had our hotel breakfast is quite small […] and it get crowded during morning but the staff are responsive to find a table to accommodate the 3 of us.
