For the price it was ok. House keeping never came by to clean, apparently it's done after you leave.

This was our 2nd stay at this hotel. The positive is it is very close to the beach, our first room was about a 2.5 was more recently renovated and we thought not bad for the price even though it opened onto the back alley and the pool was dirty and older. Our 2nd stay on the end of our cruise we ended up in the room by the office. It was grungy, walking […] on tile floors with bare feet left dusty grime on your feet, the bathroom was circa 1960, tiles we broken and it generally felt gross. Way too noisy, from the unit above moving furniture, plus you hear all the people in and out of the office and from the alley behind your window where the AC is. I wouldn't go back again if No hairdryer either -- too bad since it's such a great location. Free coffee / breakfast was offered, but you have to wait til 8:30am -- I'm an early bird so had to go for a walk to find something open. Les mer

Would not recommend it, bottom line. The electric outlets and circuitry are very shoddy, and I have no idea how they passed inspection. Location is good, as you are within walking distance to the beach. That is about the only positive I can give. The beds had some pretty nasty stains on them. If you have the means, definitely keep looking.

The morning coffee was fantastic. The accomodations are very very dated and felt like I was staying in my grandmothers cottage of castoffs. There was no room service for the entire week stay. I picked it for the close proximity to the beach and the cost was great although I will never cheap out on vacation accomodations again. The weather was not great […] during our stay so the one advantage of being close the beach didn't count. The manager was very nice and staff. There was no clock radio? Still can't beleive that. Hotel is just a short walk to beach. The pool was clean and heated. While the reception staff were all quite nice, they appeared to be ineffective in getting the chambermaids to provide good service to the guests. We had to repeatedly ask for clean towels and for our room to be cleaned. This was an experienced shared by many of the guests at the hotel […] to the point that it became a running joke among our fellow residents. Hotel needs to be updated but appears to be consistent with surrounding hotels. If you go there you need to be assertive about cleaning and towel services. Les mer

Very clean, but you need to tell front desk how you would like your maid service arranged as it is on a request basis. Friendly front desk staff. Dated furnishings and decor, but I wasn't there to b e inside. Right on main drag, but good soundproofing made sleep easy. Only 1 block from a really nice beach. 3 blocks to Water Taxi to Ft Lauderdale.

The location was great and the clerk at the desk was very helpful, but the room was horrible. Although the toilet, sink and tub were clean, the rooms overall were not. The mattress was only covered by an old, thin sheet and the top sheet was also old and worn. We were afraid to sit on the bedspread, the couch and the chair. We heard noises in the room […] all night long and at one point when we turned a light on to see if there were bugs or mice in the room, we got an electrical shock from the switch. Although we have visited the area in the past and plan to do so again in the future, we will not be staying at this hotel. Les mer

If you're looking for a place strictly for a bed, this place is good. If you intend on hanging out around the hotel...this may not be a great choice. My only concern was the shower appeared to have only one setting: fire hose. It was extremely high pressure and hurt like a mother if you got hit where the sun doesn't shine.

This was not mention by hotel.com but they charge me additional $10 a day to park at the hotel for 4 days. I was not aware of this until I check into the room. I got the worst room by the street where I could the loud noise of the traffic. There is no AC in the room just a ceiling fan. There is no maid service until you check out. The room I stayed in was quite comfortable and spacious with a small kitchen stove, refrigerator and wall A/C, property with nice clean pool and a washer and dryer setup, just a minute walk to the Hollywood beach, with restaurants, bars and other retail and easy public transportation to downtown Hollywood and Airport. You can not go wrong for the price […] and it is hassle free! Les mer

Muy limpio y agradable. El unico detalle es que nadie indico que habia que pagar 10 dolares de permiso de parqueo diario para estacionar en el area del hotel. Esto es muy incomodo a la de hora de rentar un auto y estar pendiente de meter monedas en la calle si no te lo remolcan.
