Vasanta Hotel was great! The location was perfect for us (L'Eixample, but close to the Gothic neighborhood). Beautiful, brand new, comfortable room. We loved it. Hotel is a bit difficult to find (they should give better details on it being located on the second floor of a regular building, with no visible sites), and there is no real front desk - staff […] is very nice, but they seem to be only there by appointment. It was an odd hotel set up, nobody tells you that there will only be people there from 9am until 8pm and that you're pretty much on your own. I wouldn't go back.

Four nights here in February 2013. The hotel occupies the principal floor of a L19C block on the corner of Casp and Roger de Lluria. The room decoration and lounge areas match the images on the hotel web site. Staff are discreetly behind the scenes but appear when asked for! La Llossa (almost next door) is a bar/restaurant that is modestly furnished but offers a good range of sensibly-priced authentic food, and a charming host (you'll need a phrase book, mind, if you're not a Spanish or Catalan speaker. The hotel is a little hard to find (2nd floor of a bigger building) and currently doesn't have a lobby or 24-hour staff, but this was my favorite of the four hotels we stayed at during our week-long Spain vacation. In fact, because of the setting and lack of staff, it almost felt like we were staying in an apartment rather than a touristy hotel. Excellent building, room, bed, comfort, cleanliness & wifi. Excellent location: 5 minute walk from Catalunya. Charming staff. (One small point: no english-language channels on the tv).

La chambre est parfaite, design, avec un grand lit. Mais attention, ce n'est pas un hôtel mais un appartement hôtel. Lorsque nous sommes arrivés le vendredi à 20h30, il n'y avait personne pour nous réceptionner, et nous n'avons reçu aucun mail pour nous donner la démarche à suivre pour récupérer les clefs de la chambre. Уборка номера каждый день, номера красивые. Единственная проблема - отсутствие ресепшена, Нужно звонить на испанский номер, причем на табличке при входе он указан вроде как неверно […] - ни разу не дозвонились. Работают те, с которых нам звонили сотрудники отеля, так как у нас был поздний заезд. Телефоны работают круглосуточно, обращаться можно по любым вопросам, когда мы заселялись сотрудник отеля приехал через 10 мин после звонка. В целом все понравилось, остановились бы там вновь. Excelente, pero no tiene casi ningún servicio hotelero. No dispone de desayuno, ni de recepción 24h. Como ejemplo, a partir de las 20 horas no hay nadie para recibirte (sólo un móvil para emergencias). Además, el checkout es a las 11 horas y, en mi caso, no había nadie para efectuar el depósito de la llave. Aún así, si no les importan los detalles señalados […] anteriormente, lo recomiendo. Although I at first was a bit supprised that I couldn't order breakfast (which of course was my own mistake - it is apparent when you look at the booking details), I immediately felt extremely comfortable staying at Vasanta Hotel Boutique. The close proximity to nearly everything was not the best part of my stay - the helpfullness and high service from […] the hotel staff was! I attended a conference during my stay and I had forgotten an extension cord to my computer that fitted with the power outlet. I wrote a small note and left it in my room and when I returned from the conference, my computer was fully charged and I could borrow the extension cord during my stay - free of charge! In my opinion, that is service at it's highest level :-) Les mer
