Fantastisk fint lite hotel hvor vertskapet hadde lagt alt tilrette for at ferien skulle bli perfekt. Kosligste hotel vi noengang har vært på. >Meget < rent og sengene hadde dyne!!! Like ved den flotte sandstranda. Stor Publix matbutikk like ved også. Anbefaler Great Escape på det varmeste og håper vi snart kan dra tilbake hit.

My husband Dana and I stayed 5 nights recently at the Great Escape Inn. Let me tell you that from the moment we stepped foot onto the property we were greeted and treated like we were family as well. Cindy the owner and her son Mark were so accommodating and friendly. Our room anwas VERY clean and the room was updated, bright and delightful. We were […] extremely pleased that it also had a full kitchen with a eat-in table area. The bathroom was a great size and clean towels as were provided daily as well as shampoo and lotion. We had a king size bed which very comfortable and a new flat screen tv. We utilized the kitchen to its fullest! We were offered beach chairs, beach towels and a umbrella at NO additional charge as well as a basket of sunblock for our use. Now you would NEVER get this treatment at a chain hotel!! The beach was around the corner and and extremely clean with families all about. The pool was cleaned daily as well as the chairs, tables, etc. There is a washer/dryer on the premises which are a $1.50 for a wash or dry and Cindy even puts a bottle of laundry detergent out as well for hotel guests to use. There is also a gas b-b-q grill. I have to give a shout out to Robin who took care of cleaning our rooms while we were there. She was wonderful and took the time to talk with us whenever she saw us. So with all this said I would RUN as fast as you can and book a room with Great Escape Inn. The secret is out and this will be one of the top hotels shortly. Les mer

Great location for the great price. We would have preferred to be right on the water, but couldn't afford it. So, we chose Great Escape. 1 block from the ocean, quaint, clean, close to downtown-but far enough away from downtown. Stayed for 4 weekday nights. Outside ground of the hotel doesn't look quite as nice (in terms of decor) as many of the surrounding hotels/motels, but is still clean and well maintained. However, the inside is very clean (more so than some of the 4 star hotels we stayed at in other cities), well-maintained, new, and well-designed. We got upgraded from […] a studio+kitchen to 1 bedroom+kitchen, which was awesome. The pool is heated to a comfortable temperature (for us), though the beach is right around the corner so the pool wasn't that important. Great location: near the beach, restaurants down the street, supermarket/CVS half a block away. Plenty of parking spaces in front of the inn. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Kitchen is well stocked with utensils/cookware and pots/pans. The area is swamped with hotels/motels/inns, so competition I'm assuming is high. I'm curious what the other inns and higher end hotels are like and might stay at a different place next time I visit. But besides that curiosity, I would definitely not hesitate to stay at the Great Escape Inn again. We really enjoyed our stay at the inn. Les mer

Exceptionally clean and well maintained older hotel. We arrived late and parking was somewhat problematic, but we were otherwise very satisfied with our stay.

The rooms are very large and the beds were great. Nice to have a kitchen area. Rooms were very clean. Staff was very accommodating and you can check out chairs to take to the beach and towels. They also had a variety of sun tan lotions in a basket by the pool. It is located on a busy street but was quiet at night. Beach access is only a couple of blocks […] away. Some really great restaurants are only a 10 minute walk away. We really had a wonderful dinner at Arubas one night (located on the beach). Would stay here again. Les mer

It was a pleasant surprise how accommodating they were. We had a very late arrival, so they left our room open with our key and sign-in sheet on the desk in our room. We only stayed one night, extending a business trip to Miami one day to enjoy the beach, so they let us extend out check-out to 1:00 pm so we could go to the beach in the morning and return […] to shower before checking out. Great location, excellent manager on site. Older motel that has been totally renovated to high standards. Also, a nice kitchen. Pool not heated ( but most motels don't heat their pools)

I found Great Escape Inn after searching and searching. It was so worth it! Great location, beach around the corner, restaurants and shops 2 blocks away. Nice pool, palm trees and fountain in courtyard. Rooms very clean and newly renovated. We had a small apartment. King bed and small, fully equipped kitchen. Stayed for 1 night. It has everything that one needs. Steps aways from the beach, restaurants, plenty of parking, wi-fi workked great.

It satisfied our need to have a place close to our weekly timeshare so we could get there early the following morning. Would consider staying there again if we need to arrive early again. This is a small, but charming hotel. Located two blocks from the ocean, very nice. They have an inviting patio set up by the small outdoor pool. The Staff was very nice, we arrived late on a holiday evening and they stayed open until we arrived. Thank you. We hope to have the opportunity to stay at this hotel again.

We were there very briefly after seeing our granddaughter off at the airport. We didn't arrive until after dark, and had to leave early the next morning, so I really can't comment on the surroundings. The room was delightful, however, and probably one of the cleanest we've ever stayed in. The woman in the office was very friendly and helpful.

My sister and I went to Ft. Lauderdale-by-the-Sea to visit family. We were on a tight budget and wanted to be within walking distance. This place was perfect. Completely remodeled. We stayed in the King Motel room. Clean and the bed was comfortable. I don't need much so I was happy. Free WiFi was good. Publix is right across the street and the beach […] is a 5 min walk from the motel. Commercial pier is about a 10 min walk with all the shops and restaurants. This is not a posh hotel, it is a family run Inn. Just like I like. Next time I will upgrade to the efficiency room so I can have a kitchen, too. Thanks, Mark, for letting us have a late checkout. Great Mom and Pop hotel one block from Lauderdale by the Sea Beach. Newly renovated, nice decor, pool small but nice. Staff was very accommodating. Great Escape Inn was a tremendous and wondrous surprise!! Totally renovated..with all you need and want...Really comfortable beds, heated pool, impeccably clean...beautiful palm trees, heated pool, fully stocked kitchen...even a brand new washer. dryer ! Plus a barbecue and heated pool! Will definately go back and recommend highly.

Very happy with our stay. The rooms looked like they had been upgraded and very clean. Easy access to everything. If I had to nit pick, I'd say the pool needed skimming otherwise, I'd stay there again.

This is an older hotel in process of renovation. The location is great! The A/C was a little loud but the bed was comfortable and everything was CLEAN! This is a no frills establishment that works well for basic accommodations. Oferece uma acomodação honesta para quem vai fazer compras no Sawgrass (a 20 minutos) ou em shoppings e outlets ao norte de Miami. O hotel é simples, mas mesmo assim passa a impressão de limpeza e o quarto tem conforto acima do esperado pelo valor. Cama grande, ar condicionado e amenities repostos diariamente. Além disso o atendimento é muito simpático […] e prestativo. Esqueci um óculos dentro do carro alugado que já havia devolvido e, além de poder telefonar para a locadora sem custos, a recepcionista do hotel se dispôs a intermediar a conversa em inglês para que os funcionários da locadora entendessem melhor o que havia ocorrido. Como ressalva, não há estacionamento fechado, somente algumas vagas reservadas na rua, em frente ao hotel. Les mer

Lidt ældre motel med mindre senge - lidt lille værelse til 4 personer. Perfekt at kunne gå 100 m til fantastisk hvid sandstrand med skildpadderedder. God service med gratis strandhåndklæder. Køleskab på værelset.

Ett litet enkelt hotell med vad man behöver. Dock var ACn inte av den öjudlösa typen. Nära till stranden, i övrigt lite offside, men gångavstånd till restaurang.

Mycket bra och billigt boende nära stranden. Det enda som jag skulle säga var negativt är att AC:n var väldigt högljudd och satt på väggen precis i höjd med sängkanten. Detta gjorde att man inte kunde ha på den på nätterna och då blev det ganska fuktigt. Men det var helt klart värt sitt pris!

Great escape Inn is a Nice little hotel/motel with great location and service especially for The price. The room was pretty basic with giant bed, closet, desk, tv, airconditiong and decent size bathroom. All nice kept and nothing looked old or dirty. Service was great, from arriving to leaving. I kept The do not disturb sign on in The mornings, but […] even The days when I did not remove it before 12/13 in The afternoon, my room would still get serviced before i returned in The evening. Super tolles kleines, familiäres Hote, Cynthia an der Rezeption super nett, besorgte uns einen Fön, weil keiner da war.Freundlich zuvorkommend, wir haben uns einfach nur wohl gefühlt. Der Strand ist "um die Ecke" Strandstühle, Sonnenschirm stehen kostenlos zu Verfügung,Supermarkt in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen.

Das Hotel war ca. 100 Meter vom Strand entfernt. In der Nähe gab es ein kleines Einkaufszentrum. Das Zimmer war sauber. Das Hotel hatte Parkplätze vor dem Hotel und einen Pool gab es auch. Der Manager war sehr hilfsbereit. Es ist ein kleines fast familäres Hotel. Mir war nachts allerdings der Strassenverkehr etwas laut.

Etonné en bien. L'accueil est très chaleureux et le personnel fait tout les efforts possibles pour rendre le séjour plus agréable (prêt de chaise pour la plage, conseils etc etc). Les chambres sont propres, bien que la double queen soit un peu petite. L'hôtel est situé à 2 minutes à pied d'un publix (magasin de nourritures )

Hotellet är litet och välskött. Rummen är stora, rena och fräscha. Det är nära till strand, matbutiker och några restauranger. Poolområdet ligger mot vägen som är ganska trafikerad så det var inte så vilsamt att ligga där. Personalen är trevlig och serviceminded. Wifi fungerade utmärkt. Mycket prisvärt.

Ett litet, enkelt men trevligt motell två kvarter från stranden. Finns en pool som dock ligger mot en starkt trafikerad gata, men det är nära till stranden och hotellet lånar ut strandstolar av sittmodell. Perfekt om man vill ha något enklare för övernattning och inte tänker hänga på hotellet hela dagarna.

Vi bodde tre nätter på Great Escape och var mycket nöjda. Jättetrevlig personal, välstädad och bekväm lägenhet med ett rejält kök. Två minuters promenad till stranden och åtta minuter till butiks- och restauranggata.
