B&B 1657 - Amsterdam

We stayed at B&B 1657 in early July. At first we thought the online pictures of the place were faked, but it really is every bit as beautiful as advertised. Right on the Herengracht, the room had a beautiful view of the canal and the surrounding city. The room was clean, comfortable and well appointed. Shared-bathroom (but not much competition for it) […] and an intimidating staircase up to the room, but still one of the nicest suites we stayed in on our trip through The Netherlands. Great breakfast, and the two brothers who run the place couldn't have worked harder to make us feel at home. Two thumbs up to our hosts. We would definitely stay here again and recommend B&B 1657 to anyone. Les mer

Detta B&B ligger i ett mycket trevligt område med utsikt över en av Amsterdams alla kanaler. Personalen är hjälpsam och trevlig. God frukost. Lite lyhört.

Personalen var helt underbar, det är inte det lyxigaste man har varit på men tack vare deras enorma servicevilja så blir man enormt överraskad! Älskade allt med B&B! Rekommenderas starkt! Nära till spårvagn, pubbar, uteservering, mat, nattklubb med mera! Bara att boka! :)

The room was adorable, with a beautiful view to the canal, and the bathroom was impeccable. Classy, stylish, cosy. The brothers who own the small inn are great, and will tell you all you need to know about Amsterdam. The location was also wonderful, right next to Rembrandtplein, but not too close; not at all noisy. About 1,5km from the Centraal Station. […] Wherever you decide to walk from the hotel the scenery's gorgeous, museums are also walking distance away. The breakfast was awesome: One of the owners made us fresh orange juice, baked croissants and freshly ground coffee. We also got these Dutch pancake-things for dessert, straight from the hot pan. We would go definitely go there again, because you get worth for your money in this place that is filled with personality and hospitality. Les mer
