Hotell Luzon, Filippinene

Vårt poeng med oppholdet i Manila var å komme oss etter reisen fra Norge på vei til endelig destinasjon og med tre barn blir det forskjellig fra de fleste beboerne. Så det ble svømmebasseng (lite utendørs og større innendørs) nærliggende enormt kjøpesenter det meste av tiden.

Good to feel safe, but it also could feel like a prison) Smiling people, and great high-end service in all ends. I was there on business, so I didnt have time to use the pool, restaurant, bar etc, but I had a look and I am sure it would have been great too. Always a taxi outside, HUGE shopping centers across the street, bars, Hard Rock Cafe etc. etc. I will book room at the same hotel next time I go to Manila. Ken - from Norway

Veldig bra standard, hyggelig betjening og utmerket service.

A reasonably priced basic hotel overlooking Manila Bay but with lots of traffic along Roxas. Comfortable rooms and all facilities but the hotel seems a bit in need of updating. The lifts were often out of service and reception overworked. Breakfast is often crowded and is too asian with stodgy white bread and an antiquated toaster that takes 5 monutes to taost 2 slices!! It can't be difficult to install a rapid toaster with adequate capacity. The streets nearby are probably safe enough - I always walk to Robinson Mall without problems - but there are many people living on the streets and in dire poverty so it's a sad neighbourhood. There are some good restaurants nearby including Chinese and Filiipino and a Yellow Cab for pizzas. Starbuck next door. Rizal Park is worth walking to during the daytime and there is a great selection of restaurants etc on the quayside so you can eat a tasty ice-yoghurt or seafood menu and watch the ships in Manila Bay. I always use this hotel as it serves my requirements for comfort at reasonable prices.

Vi møtte svært god service i alle fcilitetene i hotellet, og spesielt i resepsjonen da vi hadde glemt igjen en bag med bla penger i en taxi. Vi oppsporet taxien - fik meget god hjelp av pesonellet i resepsjonen - og alt ordnet seg til slutt. Det blir nok samme hotellet ved neste gangs besøk i Manila også.

Nytt hotell med bra standard. Rom med parkview blir fjernstyrt til å slå av mesteparten av belysning i forbindelse med daglig lasershow utenfor ca. 18:30 for å sikre at showet ikke blir forstyrret av bakgrunnslys. Rolig område med Rizal park like ved, men tilkomst til andre områder med flere fasiliteter enn det Ocean Park kan tilby fordrer taxi. God og ny standard på rommene til overkommelig pris, men standardrom har begrenset skjerming til toalett og dusj da det er frostede glassdører direkte mot rommet. Bodde på Aguarom noen dager senere der fjernstyring av lys og skjerming av bad ikke var tema. Gratis trådløst internett på rommet, krever ny kode hver dag. Dessverre var hastigheten ikke av den beste, men tilstrekkelig for epost og vanlig surfing. For tregt for streamingtjenester som for eksempel Spotify. Hotellet anbefales.
