Hotell Bretagne, Frankrike

Good location for exploring Rennes. The hotel is close to the town center and restaurants, but in a quiet street. Staff speeks English. The room was nice and clean but a little soul-less as is often the case in chain hotels. It gets a plus for having good space for storing luggage and well working air condition. The breakfast was really good. It wasn't a huge buffé but it still had very good selection. It had the sweet pastry of a traditional French hotel breakfast, but also more healty options such as low fat yoghurt and cereal. Fried eggs, bacon and such could be ordered without any extra cost. The minus with the stay was that not all staff knew about the special deal called "Pret a visiter" we had booked. One advantage of it was that breakfast was included but it took the staff 5 minutes at checkin to confirm that. Another advantage was that we - upon request - could keep the room after regular checkout time without extra charge. When we tried to arrange this with the receptionist the evening before checkout she said it was not possible. When asked the morning staff, they arranged it in no time. So in the end all was good, but it's annoying to have to double-check things.

Modern, clean, quiet, across the street from the beach, what more could you wish for?

Hadde ingen forventningar til dette hotellet, hadde booka dagen før og måtte ta det som var ledig i St.Malo. Vart positivt overraska på det meste. Betjeningen er serviceinnstillt og snakkar godt engelsk. Plassert rett over vegen for stranda og få meter til gamlebyen, ligg hotellet perfekt til. Parkeringshuset var fullt då vi kom, men det var ingen problem med å finna rimeleg parkering i nabolaget. Hotellet bruker baren til frukostrom, dette var litt kummerlig, men frukosten elles var OK.

Hotellet ligger midt i sentrum, bare et kvartal eller to å gå for å komme til butikker og restauranter. Betjeningen var hyggelig og hjelpsom. Vi trivdes godt her!

Hotellet har for å være i denne prisklassen veldig god service, en overraskende godt ssammensatt frokost og imøtekommende betjening.
