Noisy old hotel
Pros: Nice hot breakfast (scrumbled eggs, sausage, waffle, oatmeal yogurt, bagel, mini muffin, bread, cereals, banana, apple) Sheets are clean Coupon brochure rack which saved us $5 each for one-day San Diego zoo visit Cons: Room has smell of old carpet. The sofa bed mattress has big stain on it. Worst part is the noise: The hotel is just next to 5 freeway without high wall to block, I can hear the freeway noise all night long. Also noise comes whenever someone uses shower, toilet, sink or rolls luggage by.

Not family place to bring your wife and kids.
Moment we walked in room horrible stinch, carpet wasn't vacuumed hair and trash all over floor. Bunk beds were under bolts missing, very loose, hair all over beds. Carpets ripped and nails exposed.. countertop had gunk all over, you can tell they don't clean very well more like rush. If they offer you second room for exchange for another room, it's the same don't waste your time.

Our stay
Stay was ok, the rooms need a huge update. Horrible carpet, horrible paint, bathroom not great, keys to the room suck! Spider webs in the old curtains. Beds were great, housekeeping was great. Friendly stuff in the food area. Grounds are pretty abs clean . We did find a bed bed or some kind of an insert like that. It was gross.

Comfy couch. Noisy location.
A plus was the nice full-size couch and only $25 pet fee. The minus was freeway noise and multiple online sign up requests for pet fee that resulted in a triple charge. They politely refunded the over-charges.

We had medical equipment we had to plug in. Just before we went to bed we discovered we didn’t have enough sockets next to the bed. We recieved no help from the desk person. We needed an extension cord or electrical strip. We finally had to move furniture and a lamp. Keeping in mind we are both over 70, this wasn’t easy. The room was clean and comfortable. We stay almost exclusively at La Quinta inn and suites. We’ve never had that happen any where else

Highly recommended, will be coming again!
Decided to celebrate my son’s Halloween birthday early and surprise him with a trip to LEGOLAND/ San Diego zoo, the price I paid for those 3 nights 4 days was incredible and the room service was amazing came back to find my sons room very cutely made and I wish I took pictures but he was so excited and jumped straight into bed, we can’t wait for our next trip here! Not to mention the complimentary breakfast they offer!
