Property is average, definitely not worth 4 stars. Restaurant was horrendous, breakfast low quality, lunch had a tuna salad, tuna must have been very old and caused stomach issues.

Overall rating is excellent. The rooms are spacious, beautifully furnished, well maintained and spotlessly clean. Staff are courteous, extremely helpful and very friendly. The buffet breakfast offered an array of delicious hot and cold foods. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be returning in the near future!

Beautiful hotel in a great location with views of the bays around but you can walk to the marina and Porto Cervo. A supermarket is 5 mins walk out of sight .

Balocco surpassed our expectations! The property is gorgeous and full of character with an amazing view of the bay, a helpful and knowledgable staff, and unique, comfortable rooms. If we were ever coming back to the region we would absolutely stay here again.

Loved the fact that it’s a relatively small hotel. Staff always very friendly and helpful. The pool area was so clean & tidy and never too busy. No problems finding a lounger at any time of the day. Breakfast buffet was perfect, not too overwhelming but included everything you could want. The shower screen in the bathroom failed every time, leading to flooded bathroom every day. I noted this was mentioned in many reviews so I wonder why nothing has been done to improve it? Shame about outside drinks & snacks not being allowed in the rooms. It’s always nice to bring in an ‘inexpensive’ drink to have o. The balcony in the evening. Could still do it but just had to drink it out of a mug!!! Haha. Highly recommend hiring a car and exploring all the local beaches, ample free parking at the hotel. All round perfect stay, thank you

Would definitely recommend and come back again. Hotel staff and amenities were excellent. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was amazing from the food to the views. Extremely happy with our choice. They gave us a free upgrade for our honeymoon. Definitely happy with our choice to stay here.

The property was beautiful and unique. The views from our room & the pool were stunning and peaceful. I loved the landscaping and the decor was simple and tasteful. The lobby area was very pretty. I felt like I was staying in a gorgeous villa. The restaurant and lounge bare were lovely and offered up perfect views. Staff was exceptional. Though only there for one night, we were well taken care of. I would stay again in a heartbeat and highly recommend the hotel.

We absolutely loved staying here!! When we arrived Roberto kindly informed us our room was upgraded and we felt like we had the best room in the hotel. The view was amazing from every window in our room. The bed was comfortable, bathroom was great and breakfasts were delicious. Oh and the pool is perfect. I was sad to leave his hotel. It made our holiday!! Thanks for having us!! Will definitely stay here again. Highly recommend to everyone!

Relaxing hotel with great location and views

This was a very nice hotel with a great staff. The location is on a hill overlooking Porto Cervo. The location was nice as it was away from the busy shopping area. Nice to go into to town area to shop and dine but better to get away from the busy tourists areas in the evening. They have a great complimentary breakfast served in a charming space with views and a stunning pool. The hotel arranged for a rental car to be picked up and dropped off at the hotel which was nice. Easy 5 minute drive to dining and shopping. The hotel is also within walking distance to a great restaurant and small grocery store.

I must say the experience that I had at this hotel was top service. They accommodated me in every way. Everyone at the front desk smiled and helped me. The concierge was excellent. The manager was excellent the bartender was excellent. Everyone at the front desk help me. My reservation was wrong and they helped me in every way and didn’t make a big deal about it. This is a must hotel. I would stay here for a month. They made me feel at home. For sure this is as a five star experience. Thank you hotel balocco this was top service.

The hotel is lovely, but the suite we booked was shown with seating outside. There were loungers but nowhere to sit and have a drink or a snack. When we checked other rooms they all appeared to have some sort of seating arrangement. It was a pity as the view from the terrace is spectacular. When we mentioned this to reception they did bring a small table and chairs but we had to heave them up and down steps to use them. There isn’t a restaurant for dinner, one of the reasons we wanted a table and chairs, we had ordered room service twice. The terrace was a huge empty space not really inviting. A few pot plants might have helped. If you don’t have a car it’s a short walk up the hill to a few restaurants. The staff on the whole were OK not overly friendly except for one of the front desk personnel who was downright snippy. Such a shame as it it really could be fabulous.

No vale la pena

Es un hotel muy sencillo, con muy pocos servicios para ser un hotel 4 estrellas apenas debería ser 3 estrellas. No dan agua de cortesía en los cuartos, ni café. Pagar €700 euros en verano cuando el hotel es de máximo €150. Todo muy rústico. Además el hotel está muy apartado de todo, en el pueblo casi no hay taxis por lo que estás atrapado en un hotel con pocos comodidades. .

The front desk staff were wonderful. We were upgraded to a room with a large private patio. The breakfast was so delicious. We had lunch at the onsite restaurant Anna’s - outstanding. The property had lovely pool to lounge by.
